Wouldn't consider these healthy, but certainly more healthy than Ikeas. There is no research that says veggies are healthy, NONE. However, there is tons of research that has come out in the last couple years showing eating a very low to no carb meal which includes nice fatty cuts of beef is knocking heart disease and many other modern day diseases including Alzheimer, Cancer and Autoimmune butt. oooooo, I'm thinking another application of these is to make them flat, bake and use them like the Subway veggie patties for a sandwich...what do you think?
Yessss!!!!
Agree
Or use the balls as they are and make a wrap : lay 3-4 balls on a tortilla, maybe a slice or 2 of vegan cheese and melt in the microwave first before drizzling with the dipping sauce and roll it up :)
Yes
In a pita like a gyro
Just made these and they are a big hit. The sesames added to the cashew cream amped up the flavor. Very glad I discovered your channel of flavorful plant based meals that don't take hours of prep time. Look forward to trying many of your recipes.
Making a Swede proud🇸🇪
Better try this soon.
Thank you so much. Keep em coming👏👏👏
Yeah, I’d just add all those ingredients to a Vitamix and blend it down to 1/8 inch pieces. Then pour it into some oats to absorb excess water, form into balls and air fry them. Easy peasy! 😊
Good to know about the Vitamix. I don't have a food processor like in the video
Then u wouldn’t have a crazy long vid tho!
@@YeshuaKingMessiah True. Though it's still just under 10 mins, so he didn't even get that 10 minute monetization bump from RUclips (if that's still a thing). But I really don't mind the hosts' laid back style!
Cannot do oats😢
You read my mind. I was just thinking of making a trip to IKEA. Thank you so much.
perfect timing!
These veggie balls are THE BEST. I added 2/3 cup of oat flour and they suck together even better. The texture is great. Thank you. I used Well Your World mushroom gravy mix with them. They are good with the gravy.
awesome idea
@@WellYourWorld 🙏🏼 U can use besan = ground lentil or chickpea flower also 2 hold it together
The way you bit into that ball reminded me of snl schweddy balls. 😂
Good times... 😂
Another fantastic video Dillon and thanks for making a healthier version of the IKEA vegan meatballs. I don't have a Ikea near me (which is a blessing because it stops me from eating the unhealthy vegan meatballs). Love 🥰 the video and yes garlic 🧄 is essential in every recipe Dillon. Love ❤️ Dillon & 💖 Reebs.
Making this RIGHT NOW. Thanks for motivating me to keep going! It just comes down to recepies!
I really want to put mushrooms in there too
Great idea, mushrooms would be nice!
Meee toooo! I would “dry fry” them separately in case there is any water left in the pan. Maybe even pat them dry before adding to the recipe.
Thank you so much for doing this! I’ve been wanting to find a recipe to make something like this for my grandson and these are perfect!
Thank you. Beautiful recipe. Definitely going to try. ❤❤❤
This recipe looks and sounds great, thank you!
Yum! Nice kick of happiness Reebs 😀
love your work folks, thank you.
Love your way of teaching 🎉
Those sound Delicious! Must try asap
Looks so good!
That looks absolutely delicious and all I need is a food processor to make this recipe. Thank you
🌱🕊💚 Loved this!!! 👏👏Y’all are amazing!! And the blow dryer “food cooler,” especially!! …Every kitchen needs one. 😂😂
I'm excited to try these!
Lovely! Thank you! 😊
Those look amazing
Veggie balls!!! Oh i thought you were refering to the politicians❤😊love from SouthAfrica
😂❤
😂😂 This was a good one!! Thanks guys for the laughs as well as the recipe!!
Looks yummy 😋 Thank you for sharing this recipe 🥰
Thank you so much! I'm definitely making these!
Hope you enjoy, Mary!
Great recipe! Full of flavours! I would probably end up having the tasty stuff on its own or on a toast or with Chapati or even with rice !!
Thank you for sharing the health recipe.
A sort of a rich falafel. Very good mixture, indeed. Thanks
these look awesome!
These look like they'd be amazing with some hummus and tzaziki sauce. Maybe some cucumbers, tomato, and red onion too. I think I want these with some falafel together.
We have a tzatziki sauce and falafel recipe! ruclips.net/video/bxyO2-vTzqs/видео.html
How gorgeous :D these seem amazing :) greetings and gratitude from Sweden :D thank you so much for sharing
5:15 Dillon Lagasse in the house! Emeril would be proud.
I cant wait to try this
wow lovely.reminds me of falafel.love the dip too
This will be a perfect recipe to take to our Saturday night games night! And they won't even know they're eating healthy, LOL.
Looks Delicious 😋🥑🍽
Between me and a few shared with woman's best friend (Pete-the-Briard) that entire batch would be gone by sundown.
I really like that wire tray you’re using. I’m going to try this recipe, thank you.
This looks really tasty 😋🍴
These look delicious! Did you use the bake setting or airfry? Thanks for the recipe and video, Dillon & Reebs! 💕
Thank You!
Fantastic ideas. Yeah these can be added to anything like spaghetti or ramen noodles as well. Yum.
Yes, definitely
0:44 I mean I get it, it's a little funny, but this totally gives "shirtless guy in a grocery store critiquing food" vibes 😂 . That being said, I'm definitely going to try these! thank you for sharing.
Looks so good, would they hold up well if heated in spaghetti sauce after baking?
The hair dryer idea is epic 😂
Great vid,.will definitely try these, especially not using oil which is just wasted calories. Is there a chance of you showing your take on oil free panisse, I can only find recipes where they use quite a lot of oil and the use of chickpea flour is a real growing and interesting trend at the moment. Thanks.
Very nice nd healthy
Great recipe guys! As a shortcut I'll use the Trader joe's shredded cabbage and carrots bag 😊
great shortcut
@@WellYourWorld Thank you!
Hi Dillion if I bake these how long would I cook them for? I don't have a air fryer
Hippeas are a fave chippy snack of mine. Also loving Lesser Evil. Do you get that up there?
What food processor are you using? Need a new one & interested in your suggestions!
Thank you🧚♀️👍🤩
thank you
Impressed with your food processor, so quiet! May I ask what brand it is?
Great recipe, thank you.
It is the Breville Sous Chef 12 Cup Food Processor. You can find it here on Amazon, amzn.to/44nh6Og
These look amazing. What do you call that basket-like baking pan?? I need one.
Air Fryer Basket for Oven. You can also search a Mesh Oven Tray- they’re often used for cooking frozen fries.
IKEA has food?? You can tell I've never been there.I thought it was just furniture.Learn something new everyday.By the way these look yummy
The ikea veggie dogs are great with the French fried onion, spicy mustard and purple cabbage slaw. I never had ikea veggie balls...If I use low carb buns, it would potentially a great dish with tons of flavor and fiber.
Despite burning them, they taste pretty good! Should I still eat them even if they're a little burned?
What healthy balls!! I will be making them Thanks What temperature were they cooked and for how long g ?
The full recipe can be found here, bit.ly/IKEAVeggieBalls
Lovely Thankyou for the recipe
May I know the name of the air fryer you are using. As I am planning to buy
It is a Breville Smart Oven Pro. You can find it on Amazon here, amzn.to/4bvqktZ
I'm going to make those tomorrow. I had no idea you could cook raw chick peas in the oven. I still feel a bit suspicious about it, but am excited to give it a go. Shell.
Is the recipe for print somewhere? They look amazing !
If you go to the description box there is a link that takes you to the recipe.
To print the recipes from our blog, you can highlight the recipe, and then go to Print, and change your settings to “Print Selection.” That way it will only print the recipe.

Hello!!! I love your recipes! What dood processor do you use. Mine was too weak... thanks for sharing!!!
It is a Breville. You can find it here on Amazon, amzn.to/3K2EUgX
@@WellYourWorld thanks so much!
If you don't have the countertop air fryer oven, can you use the 'air flow' tray the same way in a regular oven?? And do you have a link for the tray??
They make air-fryer trays like that for the oven. Here is one I found on Amazon amzn.to/44RgxfX
QUICK QUESTION: What temp to bake at?
Just found you with this recipe!! 😍
Now a new subscriber!!
Thank you for the healthy recipe!! With my AHF, I can no longer enjoy anything processed and have to make EVERYTHING from scratch!! Can't wait to make these for the family! DH wanted to buy these but not after I checked the sodium amount!!! 😳 insane!!
Glad you found us! The full recipe is linked in the description, bit.ly/IKEAVeggieBalls
Years ago, the Ikea by me just sold fall apart furniture. Then went to selling everything and anything for van life. Now it's veggie balls?! Guess I'll have to go visit one soon and see what's cooking 🍳!
I love the flavor of these. However, even with following instructions carefully, mine are very fall-apartey. Any advice?
We just love your veg broth powder, so kudos there.
If the veggies or chickpeas are too wet, they will fall apart. You can add some chickpea flour to the mixture as well. Glad you are enjoying our Veggie Broth!
Ooh thanks a lot.and how to make a vegan hotdog (ikea) please??
Check out our Carrot Dog recipe, ruclips.net/video/4NnECRe8Zkk/видео.html
This looks really good but I do have a question. I'm not a super big fan of Cilantro. Will it make a big difference if I leave it out, or is there something else I could add instead?
you can swap the cilantro for your preferred herb
@@WellYourWorld Thank you. gonna try these this weekend
Which food processor are you using? Thanks, I'm getting into vegan cooking, will try this recipe. And the baking pan?!
It is the Breville Sous Chef 12 Cup Food Processor. You can find it here on Amazon, amzn.to/44nh6Og
@@WellYourWorld Thanks a lot, will check it out!
Wow are you guys cute. Looooove this!!!!🤩✨🥳
Can your dried veggies mix be used to make these balls?
We haven't tried it, but it should work fine! Just make sure to rehydrate the veggies and then dry them out like we did for the fresh veggies.
What brand shredder do you recommend?
We like the Breville Sous Chef 12 Cup, amzn.to/3K2EUgX
👍🤩💝
Can also make them flat to use as veggie buns for a sandwich or burger.
🤔 Twice cooked - cooked on the stove in a pot and baked. 😞😩
Veggie burger 🤩😍😘
@@naazkhan9233 👍💝
Please provide link for that air fryer
amzn.to/3R59IBG
May I ask what food processor your’re using?
It is the Breville Sous Chef 12 Cup amzn.to/44mPB7r
I just made these and they were a little too peppery and spicy for my liking. Next time I'll reduce or eliminate the black pepper and red pepper. My sauce turned out runny, possibly because I used almond milk instead of soy milk? The sauce was ok, but not sure if I'll make it again. Overall, I think the recipe is good and I will try different spices and use different sauces. I like that you can mix it up and try different things.
I need to get my food processor. It would make life so much simpler.
What brand is your food processor?
It is the Breville Sous Chef 12 Cup amzn.to/44mPB7r
Mine fall apart ... I followed the recipe exactly....any idea what I should try to make them hold together better?
If the veggies or chickpeas are too wet, they will fall apart. You can add some chickpea flour to the mixture as well.
What is an air flow pan?
I looked it up on amazon and a bunch of air fryer pans came up, but nothing that looked like what you used.
It comes with the Breville for air-frying and dehydrating, you can find them here on Amazon amzn.to/4afx6mw
@@WellYourWorld
Muchas smoochas!
I haven't tried the veggie balls yet, but did make the cashew cream sauce this morning, as I had extra ground cashews to use. It is so good as a fruit topping, or to dip veggies!
awesome
Can you freeze these?
definitely
💯
What about using canned chickpeas or boxed (WF has them in a box now). No reason to soak those, right? Is there a reason you have to have raw chickpeas in this recipe?
Yes the texture won’t work the same unless raw/soaked but you can give it a try.
😋
I could fine your recipe in the description box
bit.ly/IKEAVeggieBalls
Would you be kind to tell the name of the food processor?
It is a Breville. You can find it here on Amazon, amzn.to/3K2EUgX
It looks like you put more than ½ cup of soaked chickpeas. Do they double in size when soaked?
the dry beans will soak up some water
Great Video! But i guess soaked n boiled chickpeas would be easy to mash n turn into balls.
With marinara sauce on pasta? Whaddaya think?
sounds great
Looks intriguing, but it would be nice if there was a print option for the recipe! Just sayin'...
Hi Dillon and Reebs 💖💖
Hi Valerie! Hope you are doing well.
@@WellYourWorld I want to congratulate you and your beautiful Wedding day and your beautiful sons you have be blessed💖🩷❤️💖 and I am well thank you so much for asking
Can you please make or send me a link to videos or recipes that are WFPB but do not require blenders, weird ingredients, food processors and so forth? I want to try wfpb but finding recipes using just a stove and common vegetables is impossible. A playlist for lazy WFPB would be very much appreciated. I have knife, vegetables you can find in eastern europe like potato, cabbage, carrot, onion and so forth, we got tofu not that long ago but I suppose that is not wfpb. We got most of the legumes and grains. I just don't knwo how to make anything with this other than stir fries in oil.
We have a playlist of simple, no chop recipes here: ruclips.net/p/PLKhuC_bnruhoMFtvsv2e3xmnb3oxVyXWg&si=j_aBI65HnEYWBS2i
Has anyone written out the recipe?
Can we use canned chickpeas?
You will need dry, soaked chickpeas for this recipe because canned chickpeas are already cooked
So, great you have a top notch food processor, what does the rest of the world use…for each and all, like the chick peas?
Thank god for 2x speed
