@ in terms of seeking adventure and the unknown it felt like stepping into an alternate reality. Everything has such purpose and is well maintained. Tokyo is the mostly densely populated city on earth and yet everyone does their bit to keep the place spotless. This must have been the most beautiful and luxurious train I have ever seen you travel on Will. Absolutely stunning! Thanks so much for spending a fortune so we can all enjoy this marvelous adventure you had with your Dad 🤩
$38,000 and you still have to pay for the Krug? Every type of champagne should have been included in that price. Very luxurious and way beyond most people's budgets so it was nice to watch your video.
You were on a 7 star service train with a phone for any need 24 hours a day and you end up ironing your own shirts? Twice! There is something amiss there.
Looks like they also had to ferry their own luggage between the ryokan and going back to the train. Not sure if that was just equipment they needed to keep close to them or what, but really raises an eyebrow.

Yo! You got on the seven star Kyushu?! Lucky! That train is one of the most beautiful and high class trains in Japan! I’ve seen so many videos of this and it’s like a moving piece of artwork
This is truly the trip of a lifetime and you got the last car which provided a great view from the rear of the train. It is all the more enriching to see your father along for the trip to share. Japan has incredible scenery throughout this excursion and I would be glued to the windows.
For what it's worth, natural mother of pearl is produced inside of an abalone shell, as well as a few other mollusc type critters... But generally abalone are famous for really "pretty" nacre and unique patterns to the colors, more so than the other nacre producers! Speaking of shellfish, the Kumamoto oyster is a legend of epic proportions. Even if you don't dig raw shooters, the Kumamoto is the way past that barrier. Amazing little pockets of glory! Sweet excursion! Incredible looking train! So cool!
Thank you for uploading Seven Stars in Kyusyu and coming Japan! I sent you the request last year, so I'm so excited to watch your video! There are other luxury trains in Japan (They are lottery too...), so please come Japan again!!!
@@pious9567 I suppose Japanese eat fewer than other countries' people. Japanese are smaller and shorter than europeans and americans. They will serve extra foods if you want.

One of your best videos, that train is absolutely beautiful, and that huge window in your suite….wow! Quite the experience I’m sure, thanks for taking us along. 🇨🇦
Impressive doesn't even begin to describe this train. I enjoyed this video immensely and the places where the train stops were gorgeous. Lovely food too. So glad you featured this. More travels with your parents ❤

Greetings from the Republic of Ireland. I finally subscribed to your channel JUST BECAUSE THIS IS THE BEST REVIEW YOU'VE EVER EVER DONE. Keep up the fantastic work.
Beautiful train! I laughed at 14:35 with the Usopp statue standing so proudly I wasn't expecting that but it made this One Piece fan very happy to see. I'd love to see you explore Japan more and experience the exotic luxury that Japan has to offer from small to big. It's my dream country to visit and possibly live there someday. As far as the bar not allowing pictures that's semi normal across Japan, certain areas whether it be entertainment or onsens, prefer no photos to respect other people's privacy and cameras can be distracting when they want you to fully focus on the experience.
Aso is located in Kumamoto prefecture which is Oda's birth region. There are multiple bronze statues throughout Kumamoto featuring one piece characters.
Setting aside the experience of such a luxury in the world, I believe the satisfaction you get from making your parents proud of you is unmatchable! I am sure your father is proud of you for making him experience this once-in-a-lifetime trip.
It's a really wonderful thing to be able to share these great experiences with you family. As I get older I realize how lucky I am to still be able to vacation with my parents as I know it's creating the memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life.
Great video. I appreciate that you get to spend time with your dad and that he is with you. Cherish every moment of those unforgettable moments, whether you're fishing with your dad or traveling on a seven-star special train.

I absolutely love your longer play videos so much more immersive. I really enjoy watching not only the travel but the relationship you have with family. Wow 30k that’s nearly a years wage, but what an experience 😁
I don’t drink tea or alcohol and health issues wouldn't allow me to eat much of the food. That said, this was AMAZING!!! Excelling in engineering, the Japanese are also EXCELLENT hosts. They have thought of EVERY thing for your comfort. From umbrellas for the rain to soft silky pajamas! Even the high-speed ferry was lovely. And while tour buses here have a bathroom in the back corner, it is TINY & usually smelly + disgusting! And l'd never ever heard of a little kitchen on board!! Wow!! I must admit your sleeper mini apartment is fancier than the 1-bedroom apartment l live in!-- At this point, l really don’t care where the train is going, l just want to live permanently in your luxury train suite, ha!ha! Absolutely incredible journey and video! Thanks for sharing!👍😃🐾🌈☮️🇨🇦
You should 100% do more trips around Japan! It's such an amazing country! Some of the landscapes are stunning and the residents are so polite! Definitely top of my bucket list!
This train is fancier than I thought. I remember one of your viewers suggesting this train. Glad to finally get insight into it and the excursions. It's really wonderful, and your dad playing the drums was a fun clip. And the price for two is well worth it. Especially since the video itself is a success.
This is one of my alltime dreams of doing this exact tour. I was in awesome and crying throughout seeing your amazing tour. It thrilled me and made me wish I was middleclass and could afford it. But its still on my bucket list despite lack of luck. JAPAN is the goal. ❤
I am a heathen who does not like fungi or sea food. With that in mind, I would love this experience and I would try whatever was offered to me. The Japanese culture is most gracious. Another great video!
That's unfortunately a question of lobbying. The automobile and airline industries have spent a lot of money ensuring that rail travel is not a viable competitor for infrastructure funding in the US. Don't like that? Write your congresspeople.
Have you heard of Brightline in Florida? It departs from Orlando airport if you’re taking it from the north and stops at West Palm, Fort Lauderdale, Miami 16 day and some of them also stop at Boca Raton in Aventura. There are two classes and some people say it’s expensive even the economy class called Smart class, but they always have a lot of specials if you check on their website I’ve taken it three times and always enjoyed it!!!
This probably the most beautiful trip you've taken yet. Exotic, utterly tasteful, and the Japanese people are so accommodating and friendly in their formal way. And the SEAFOOD and the scenery. Totally delightful!! I want India, Thailand, Turkey, Africa, Chili and Patagonia next!!

Also i don't know about the "7 Star train", what star system is that, i mean the place is actually called "7 star" so maybe it's just meant to sound like its a 7 star michelin awarded train or whatever. the longer i looked the more frustrated i got and i only zapped for a short while. my "angry" comment should be viewed as straight info to gullable people who prase a false god.
All your videos are impressive. This one really spoke to me of the Japanese tradition and how meticulous they were in trying to really bring their tradition to the passengers. luxury traintube is back, baby!!!! Dare I say this is more experientally luxurious than the Orient Express? I wish Japan was larger so the journey could be even longer!!
the best thing of this travel in the train, is that you spent it with your father. And that, sir, makes it the best to the best.
We can't just keep adding stars to make it good. The disrespect for the 5 star system is nuts😂
It’s such a joke at this point. They’re trying to justify the ridiculous price.

This must have been the most beautiful and luxurious train I have ever seen you travel on Will. Absolutely stunning! Thanks so much for spending a fortune so we can all enjoy this marvelous adventure you had with your Dad 🤩
And you get people who say , (if I win the euro millions I would get bored) not a chance when you have amazing things like this

Japan has a beautiful way with aesthetics. ❤
$38,000 and you still have to pay for the Krug? Every type of champagne should have been included in that price. Very luxurious and way beyond most people's budgets so it was nice to watch your video.
And iron your own shirts?
Should've had a personal dedicated butler stationed right outside the door at this kind of price.
For $38K Wagyu, caviar, and blowjobs should have been on the lunch menu
For 38,000 I'm gonna drink myself to death to make sure I get my money's worth if they let me
What an unbelievable experience, that so few in the world will ever have. It’s like a dream.
You were on a 7 star service train with a phone for any need 24 hours a day and you end up ironing your own shirts? Twice! There is something amiss there.
My thoughts exactly.
that's the comment I wanted to write😂...for that money I wouldn't lift a finger for anything!
Yes I would imagine for such an exorbitant price someone would come and iron your shirts and press your suits for you
Looks like they also had to ferry their own luggage between the ryokan and going back to the train. Not sure if that was just equipment they needed to keep close to them or what, but really raises an eyebrow.
yesterday i walked home and under a railway bridge in Manchester i saw a couple of lads drinking pink champagne and eating caviar in slow motion. They were wearing "chinos" , while sitting outside their tent listening to gentle piano music, ......we became tired so we kicked off our "Tims", put on our p.j.'s and retired to our tent for a lovely relaxing sleep. In the morning, after the obligatory caffeine hit etc etc, we readied ourselves for the day. 👍
This was AMAZING! The level of detail from the decor to the food/ beverage service was ASTOUNDING! Even the staff was IMMACULATE! Thank you for sharing!
I traveled from Houston Texas to Portland Oregon in the US on a Greyhound bus. We had a layover of 7 hours at the LA bus station at night (from 2am- 9am) I do not recommend lol. It was definitely interesting.
Count your blessings - Greyhound are selling off their bus stations, leaving nocturnal layover passengers literally standing around on the street!
Many Mexican bus companies are offering their services in the US I'll recommend next time you travel by bus see if one of the this companies have routes to your destination and try them you'll enjoy it 1000% better than greyhound.

Yo! You got on the seven star Kyushu?! Lucky! That train is one of the most beautiful and high class trains in Japan! I’ve seen so many videos of this and it’s like a moving piece of artwork
never been so jealous, this looks incredible
I appreciate you sharing something that not many people on Earth can experience. Excellent work overall.
The crazy thing is if it’s 99/1 to get a ticket there are 99 other people wanting to pay $38000 for a train ticket. 😮
Yes but is your name kept in the hat for the next draw? Then the odds tumble.

This train is fancier than I thought. I remember one of your viewers suggesting this train. Glad to finally get insight into it and the excursions. It's really wonderful, and your dad playing the drums was a fun clip. And the price for two is well worth it.
Especially since the video itself is a success.

Could someone make a train that's nicer than Amtrak but not a super-duper, luxury expensive train for the USA...please?
That's unfortunately a question of lobbying. The automobile and airline industries have spent a lot of money ensuring that rail travel is not a viable competitor for infrastructure funding in the US.
Don't like that? Write your congresspeople.
Yes, every single train in the Netherlands? ;)
Have you heard of Brightline in Florida? It departs from Orlando airport if you’re taking it from the north and stops at West Palm, Fort Lauderdale, Miami 16 day and some of them also stop at Boca Raton in Aventura.

I mean, its cool for the dad to get to tag along but its of no effort on his part. he's paid and gets to take probably 2 people with him and you saw all those photographers in the cabin, this is a special promotional tour so all guests probably has some sort of influencer gig and the way he talked and explained minute boring details let me to belive that everything is scripted and heavily restricted in terms of what's being said and shown.
