I went woth the original mpa30 m11/9. Its pretty much a direct copy of the cobray. Sure. Have to have the adapter plate on the back. Then drill holes into the pic rail you are mounting to the adapter plate on the gun. This will give you a centered picatinny rail for a sight and brace if you make it long enough.
You have to have the home made rail, and the adapter rail that is sold for this gun, then make the homemade piece to fit adapter. Purpose is to fit the brace underneath with enough clearance for the metal rods to slide. I grinded the bottom of the receiver to get a tighter fit. you can’t really see it so I decided it was worth it. But again no it will not mount to the gun directly
Closest thing I’ve seen to the og cobray style same step down which you need. Can’t justify $250-400 for a toy tho. Got some ideas coooking with a pmc 63… one day
If you can actually find one of these for that cheap then you’d better hop on it because these go for like $600 buddy and that’s without any accessories and just 1 magazine…
Definitely not a cookie-cutter gun, which is pretty cool. Would be pretty sweet with a micro red dot on the rail. I went in half (lol) on an MPA when I first got into guns. I was really considering SBR back then, there were no braces. What suppressor was that? You should get a 3d printer, then you could make all sorts of things.
@@dakr3464 no drilling, just shaving some metal off where the rails for the brace ride against the gun. It comes with the 2-3 holes and you bolt it to an adapter and that’s it.
I have that same brace and gun. I was thinking there may be a way to replace the bars on the brace with smaller ones to make it fit around the pistol or mabey shave them down.
The rail is bent 90 degrees, the brace mounts on the pic rail on the back. Pic rail must be attached to adapter to attach it to gun and have it centered.
Hello.. great video..I have a mpa30T defender.. I would like to buy the I got my name on the list at SB technical. How is the brace a fixed to the weapon
There is an adapter I bought to attach a brace to, it’s the picatinny rail adapter that bolts into the back plate of the MPA930, you must have the adapter to attach the brace to the pistol. I had to design a custom picatinny rail to mount to the adapter for mounting the brace and that’s what this video shows.
@@ResponsiblyRowdy I wonder if you could put out a video showing the steps it took to make the the picatinny rail attached to adapt is there any adapter that you could use without the picatinny rail to attach the SB tactical

Nice video but......From a safety perspective and for those watching this that don't know much about guns, just because you have checked that the gun is safe DOES NOT mean it's ok to muzzle yourself. That breaks the first 2 rules of gun safety: 1 - Always treat the gun as if it's loaded (regardless if you have safety checked/cleared it) and 2 - never point the gun at anything you are not willing to destroy (including yourself). Sorry to be acting like the "safety police" but I feel it's irresponsible be demonstrating unsafe gun handling on RUclips. I'm sure those of us gun owners know better but I'm more worried about those watching that don't.

Thank you for this video been looking for a pdw brace
Looks pretty sweet with that brace.

Wouldn’t that make it illegal?

Hey man could you walk me through adding the pic rail after heating and bending
Sure. Have to have the adapter plate on the back. Then drill holes into the pic rail you are mounting to the adapter plate on the gun.
This will give you a centered picatinny rail for a sight and brace if you make it long enough.
Where could I find it for reasonable price
I got mine from A3 tactical for $60
U gon have to drop that "How to" video on the pic rail one time for the one time dawg😂
Haha I should, I’ll look into that for a future video
@ResponsiblyRowdy yes I'm very interested in a how to vid for this mod
@ResponsiblyRowdy I just recently purchased this gun and I'm having a very hard time figuring out how to get a nice set up like what u have
A3 tactical makes a collapsing brace that may fit that but they a very expensive.
If that brace was actually in the middle it would look nice..still best looking one i seen, good job!
What do you mean actually in the middle lol. It is in the center
You’d just need to sell the section of rail I wonder if there’s a collapsing brace for mp5 it may be wider
Do you have to have the home-made rail to mount the brace or does the brace mount straight to the firearm?
You have to have the home made rail, and the adapter rail that is sold for this gun, then make the homemade piece to fit adapter.
Purpose is to fit the brace underneath with enough clearance for the metal rods to slide.

I have. A defender I found a pic adapter online bolts right onto the rear of pistol.
@@Real_Noreaga_ yes I have the same adapter, however the pic rail it comes with is too small, that’s why I made this bigger one for the brace

Me again.. I know she got the bent picatinny rail but I don't see anything attached to it.. would you break down how you attach the mpa30T
