Marmalade never got the recognition they deserved as musicians. This beautiful acoustic pop-folk song is their crowning moment. Blow that mouth harp, Dean!

Who remembers when these days were fresh and young. Now with a tear in my eye I look back on them, remembering friends and family who are gone now, but like this song, will live on in my heart forever.
Well said Jimmy . It was great to be young and have great music like this to listen to. Sad to think of those friends and family that have left us since then.
@@cruiser1947 So true. When I look around at the world today I honestly believe we had it all back then. Someone said we are the most fortunate generation being the sons and daughters of the greatest generation. Have to agree.
This is simply a track of pure beauty. I was only seven when my Dad, sadly no longer with me, played this song, and I was just smitten. I've loved them eversince. Beautiful compositional skills that created an unpretentious and irresistible sound. Marmalade are very special 🧡
This was one my late father's favourite songs. As soon as I hear the harmonica in the intro I see his smiling face and am filled with the warmth of love he always gave me. I will always miss him and love him and be grateful for beautiful songs like this that remind me of all the wonderful times we spent together just listening to music sharing stories and just having a good laugh.

Stumbled upon this song about 2 years ago. Listened to it every so often since. I call this my happy song as any time I hear it I can't help but smile and sing along. Beautiful song by a wonderful band. Long live Marmalade!!
WOW! Thanks for this! I have a fuzzy B&W version of this film (with fuzzy mono sound) so it;s cool to hear stereo & see colour!! 🙂 That part with the cows backing away as the lady walks by -- ha ha! 😄
I had this tune stuck in my head the other day but could not recall what it was called! At first I had in mind Graham Nash singing the harmony as it reminded me of "Marrakesh Express". It took me a while but once I realised it was not CSNY nor the Hollies I tracked it down! Marmalade were certainly a versatile band!
Always loved this flip-side to "Reflections Of My Life" as I have the 45 RPM single. It's a beautiful lesson in what ends up as three-part harmony. This video is a revelation in that only two members of the band sing. The third part toward the end must be multi-tracked over the first two. I never get tired of hearing this.
Uma banda magnífica. O seu reconhecimento está dentro de corações fantásticos. O nível desta banda não eh para qualquer um, eles são ótimos músicos!!!!

Really underrated band.
