My motor mount cracked after 5 minutes and only a couple of curb hops. The motor also shifted.
My first impression isn't so good. Was expecting it to handle a bit more than a curb jump.

I think the stock shock are the worst thing. But that's an expensive upgrade. The M2c parts are nice and will allow you to run 17mm hex weels. Not sure how far you want to take it however. It's been a really fun truck and on 4s it's insane but it wouldn't be my first choice for alot of expensive upgrades. My take is that if the truck can take a beating within reason and holds up well with minimal cost to maintain resulting in more time having fun than working on it then I'm all in !! After all , things are going to break on any basher but if you can live without a better looking part that costs less and lasts , it 's the smart thing to do . IMO

Unlike the Big Rock 6s which is an outstanding Truck but quite expensive and IMO not as user friendly as the Big Rock 4x4 BLX 3s . Over all Arrma makes a great truck and it just boils down to having fun with whatever you choose . P.S. I will give you one piece of solid advice with this truck and that is to put a better steering servo on it because these are not crafted well at all . Enjoy !

Yeah i can understand where u coming from, i recently got into hobby being last rc i had was when i was 9yrs old was tyco 9.6v , bought 2 stampede for me and my son surprisingly he didn't really care for it, but dad was hooked after dumping tons of money in upgrades/learning what works and doesn't, my wife bought me the original kaiju and at first felt real clumpsy but wasnt use to size know i ive gotten few more 1/8 scales and look at 1/10 and cant see any fun with smaller sizes, however they take a real beating out the box, where bigger truck with incredible speeds break real easy and aint cheap on modification cost or isnt as many options for upgrades depending on platform, but i do like either big rock or granite 4x4 as there pretty tough and mod options but kinda stuck on team corally sketer? Whatever makes a smile i suppose all that matters

But neither would I go for a Kraton of I don't want to upgrade whatever I buy. That's why I'm interested in the Maxx: plenty of people saying it's the toughest out of the box, it's really funny with all those wheelies, it's very fast and, if something breaks, it will be cheaper to fix than a 6s arrma. The only thing that makes me keep on doubting is the fact that, apparently, the ESC breaks easily. Just looking for the most straightforward thing because I can fix these things but I prefere investing my time on bashing. I've also been thinking about a mojave or even a Typhon as they're apparently the toughest 6s arrma's. Even with that, I love wheelies and big wheels as the main surface I'm planning to run on is grass. Honestly, I'll probably go for a Maxx once the green one is back in stock here in UK.
