Not bad. However a quicker and more accurate comparison is these are basically the same exact truck except for length and some cosmetics. Big Rock is the better one imo.
Our first ever hobby grade truck was the Granite V2, and we decided on a brand new big rock V3 as our second truck over the typhon. The granite and big rock definitely have totally different driving experiences. It looks like you put bigger trencher tires on the big rock than it originally came with. Those original tires it comes with are really fun in the dirt and on the pavement, and the big rock is definitely more fun overall on pavement since it’s wider and flips less/drifts better. The granite is better for purely off road stuff and jumping, since it is so much taller and has bigger tires stock. They are both amazingly fun trucks though, and I don’t regret getting the Big rock instead of the typhon!
Going for the Big Rock. I like the look and I like that it just seems a smoother ride than the Granite. I also have a V2 Granite BLX 4X4 and going to change it up and add a new Truck to the Stable. Great Video!

@@experiencewithmartin972 granite has 1.5 to 2 inch more clearance, it is barley noticeable while driving off road. They both land very similar but I had proline badlands on the big rock so not as soft as compound as the d boot fortresses on the granite. However, the big rocks front shocks seem like they have lighter oil in them but have never actually checked the manual. Appreciate you being here! 🤝🏎💪🏎🤝🤝

@@moerc after I researched I saw that Big rock sits taller than Granite considering ground clearance. Please do not give wrong information to the public if you are unsure. Ride height for the big rock is 55mm / 2.17" compared to 47mm / 1.85" for the Granite v3 blx 3s. I wish you good luck !😉
I find it funny the stock tires lighter . But the trenches have more grip making it go faster. Put the trenches on the granet do a speed test . I would love to see the results. Big rock stock tires hate wet black top it's like driving on a ice rink.

I chose the Granite over the Big Rock because it has more of the classic MT look, since it's taller. Being smaller than the BR is also better for me. The upgrades on the V3 are great and a lot of what reviewers have asked for.
Could you do a suspension test and a 0 to 50 test? I'm looking at both cars but I have zero clue on which to get, suspension and acceleration are the only deciding factors I haven't seen yet.
offroad boi I will keep it 100 with you. The acceleration 0-50, is very equal, it is milli seconds apart. I love the way both feel 0-50. The suspension is equal as they use all the same parts. I believe you can adjust the stiffness of the shocks, also Arrma includes shock inserts with each vehicle that can change the shock ride profile as well. You cannot go wrong with either vehicle! 👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽
offroad boi You can’t go wrong with either one! Sometimes if the data between the vehicles is so close, just decide on looks and how you see it driving online. That’s what I do a lot!
Thanks for the comparison video! How are the driveshafts holding up to 3s power? Also how are the motor temps? Looking at getting the BRCC to replace my Stampede 4x4 VXL. Getting tired of the broken driveshafts and hot temps on 3s on the Pede.
Ben Snipes driveshafts have held up very well on 3s. All I run is 3s in my v2 big rock and granite, no issues. V3 shafts should be no different. motor temps are solid. V3s come with heatsink and now a fan. 👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽

i prefer big rock any day over the granite i think the big rocks design is better its more stable faster bigger but if there was no big rock the granite will be the one for me. i really like the matte black of the big rock and the with of it its like a mini arrma kraton mixed with the 3s v3 range. he granite is just as expensive as the big rock but its a bit slower. that was my opinion and im sure that you might have a different opinion. im not saying the granite is bad its my second fav in the 3s v3 range bye.
Moe RC i did watch before i commented, what i meant was the center nut of the granite wheels looks deeper from the outside than the other wheels and if it is it would make the stance wider still with them wheels fitted thats why i asked

My neighbor has a Senton I have the Granite and the Granite is faster, my Typhon beats them both

I think they are equal, it’s high speeds on pavement where I think the granite tires are better for sure.

Pinion and spur are the same. Maybe the aero dynamics and tires. Either way both are so much fun and a couple mph is not noticeable .
