Honda EU2000i Recoil Starter Replacement

I broke the starter cord on my Honda EU2000i generator on our Thanksgiving trip. I was able to fix it temporarily by replacing the broken cord with some parachute cord a friend had in his Jeep just to get us through the weekend. This is the permanent fix. I'll show you how to pull the generator apart to gain access to the 3 bolts holding the recoil starter in place.

Greetings from "down under" Sydney, Australia. Thanks for your instructional video. I've replaced lawnmower pull-starter cords and units before but good to know how to handle the problem with a petrol generator and there's a lot more to it!
