this saved me a lot of time, made sense of it quickly, went right to it and found this issue. took it apart and the grease was all hardened causing it to stick. took it apart, cleaned everything and the contacts, a little bit of new grease and bobs your uncle switch worked good as new. thanks gang
If you’re going to continue to make repair videos you REALLY need your get a voltage meter. You’ll be able to test connections and components before putting r everything back to gather and attempting to see if it works by pulling the cord. There are plenty of professional, experienced videos that you can copy.
