- First of two parks I visited outside Austin Texas Region - Palmetto State Park, rich with history and of course PALMETTO.
I also share plans for this year and next.
Met with 4 friends and camped one night, hiked about 4-5 miles during our stay. Amenities as stated in website are very nice - specious sites.
Stop by again for our next park camping two nights.

The water tower is awesome! I've never been to Palmetto but it looks nice!
Bring the fam! I’m going to be doing a bunch of state parks to keep hiking and exploring although it’s not backcountry camp.
