Camp and Hike: McKinney Falls State Park

Let’s camp and hike McKinney Falls State Park, just outside Austin, Texas is very busy but lots of room for hiking and camping. We hiked 9 miles the second morning and a few more the evening before. Great friends, good laughs. Must visit all places stated in the park map for rich in history places from alcoves, homestead, waterfalls, We missed the visitor center they were closed. Enjoy your visit when you go - plan on some great memories. Temperatures at night was 50 degrees. Day 70’s. Perfect. January is a good time

I love Mckinney Falls! Great Video! It is a bit close to Austin..Water falls still low flowing but got more water moving then when i went this last summer. If you ever want some great pizza after a hike, hit up Home Slice Pizza on Congress St! Worth all the calories😂
