I have a couple of the VH31 movement Addiesdives and I am absolutely delighted with them. One runs at 1.5 secs fast per week and the other 1 second slow per week. The bracelets are brilliant for the low cost and it is good that they did not just fit a nato strap to boost profits. There is quite a lot of free play when setting the hands but it is easy to work around. I hope Addiesdive continue with this movement and case size. I would like to see an epl0rer with applied indices and some OPs with baton hands. The more 36/37mm watches Addiesdive produce, the larger my collection will be 🤩👍
Gary, you must not be a diver nor even a snorkeler - that dial looks exactly like some shallow sea floors where waves and strong current have a similar effect as wind over dunes. But, as with this dial, the interval between crests is less. The brand is marine, and so is this dial!
I bought the addiesdive type a flieger a couple of years ago and I absolutely love it. I think the brand offers a ton of value for the money. I love the vh31 movement in this watch. It's really the best of both worlds where you get the romanticized look of an automatic while getting the reliability of the quartz movement. Excellent choice for review Gary. I'd love to see more reviews from this brand.
People need to stop moaning about the one or two things wrong with this watch (logo, mineral glass) and appreciate the 99 things that are right. Also it may not be a "diver" but I've dived into a pool with it and swam for an hour with zero problems. Its an absolutely stunning watch that can only go up in value when they stop making it. At the price they're asking it would be difficult to go down in value.
@magstheonlyone DEEPSEAHUNTER isn’t on mine . I paid £33 . It’s an awesome watch , I highly recommend it. I chose the Tiffany blue colour . It’s beautiful 😊
We should be thanking you mate, your videos are so great and informative. Being engaging in this saturated RUclips watch review world is a bit of an art. Some people have the natural ability and some not so much. You definitely have the right stuff 👍🏼
I asked the seller to come with a Sapphire Crystal, I'd suggest others do so as well to push them towards sapphire. Id love acrylic as well but if it moves to sapphire it will likely lose the double dome.
I like this watch a lot more than I expected. I purchased the sand color dial version as a test piece for a more expensive watch with similar dimensions. I wasn’t sure if the 36mm diameter would look good on my “roughly average sized wrist”. It turns out that it fits and feels great. I actually love the look of it. Thanks to this watch, it looks like I can purchase the other watch with confidence that it will look and fit great as well.
Great video as usual, Gary. This one looks really great for the money. I only own one NH31 driven watch at the moment, but when I got that Escapement Time KS homage I instantly wished we'd see more of this movement. Glad to see that happenend.
Really nice looking watch, would also probably go for the desert one. I can ignore the logo and sea text on the desert dial, but for me mineral is the killer. Half my collection has mineral, but with boxed/domed crystals I need sapphire for peace of mind
Almost pulled the trigger on the sand dial version this sale, but ultimately decided to hold off due to the mineral crystal which would have made it a perfect addition to my collection. Seems like something Addiesdive might respond to and potentially offer in the next batch so I will just wait and see; it's a no-brainer with sapphire.
I recently bought myself the ADDIESDIVE Men's Wrist Watch, Automatic Dress Watch Sapphire Crystal Mirror 100M Waterproof Stainless Steel NH35A Analog Thin Mechanical Watches for Men 3D Dial for Christmas. I opened up the package to make sure that it was working well before putting it under the Christmas Tree. I was so impressed with the watch so much that I decided to get myself the quartz counter part with the sand/tan face. I was really impressed with the craftmanship of the watch for the price tag.
Nice on Gary. I missed this video. It looks pretty good, nice to see they haven't put "Quartz" on the dial and they definitely could have skipped the logo and moved Addiesdive up a bit. That dial should be first and foremost. I don't mind the crystal so much. Excellent review as usual Gary,
Thanks to the manufacturer for making just such a logo and the name of the brand and watch model, because maybe at least a little less people will buy these wonderful watches and we won’t all walk around wearing them like chickens in an incubator) Great
This looks awesome. I don't even mind the crystal. This colour way is to me as nice as the sand dune one. If they removed the addiesdive text and left the logo alone it would sell more! I suspect this is also a strap monster. Thanks Gary
Great dial and overall feel. Crown is funky and not easy to change metal bracelet (meh). A bit of roughness around lugs interiors. A good overall looker given the attractive dial and markers. Good Holiday pricing. Hopefully, more in-depth YT reviews available.
The mineral crystal doesn't bother me (I've worn them for years and never scratched one) as much as Seiko's refusal to make non chrono mechaquarzt with a date window. That and the lack of lume can't be made up by the low price IMHO, and keeps it from being a good grab and go.
Looks good Gary I’ve been looking at these since they surfaced recently not sure about the design but now you have reviewed it I reckon it’s worth it I like the adjustable bracelet never seen that amount of adjustment on a cheap stock bracelet.I think the white is slightly better than the beige
Great review as always! Beautiful looking watch. Too bad about the crystal and other small details. The logo and 19mm lug width stops me from purchasing it. Hopefully a V2 comes out with different specs.
I may buy this watch for a friend for the Christmas Holidays. I am looking forward to your Alliexpress Nov 11 presale review. I hope you will include a few ladies watches in the review, too.
If they keep that gorgious dial, but add lume, sapphire glass, 200m WR and an NH35. I think people would pay much more for it. That dial and super explorer case. I'd go sand dial and the pale blue.
I like the general design of that sand dune watch, and I I've loving the VH31 movement, but I'd like the watch enough to buy it if it had a more conventional textured black or blue dial. Just not feeling the sand dune effect.
Yup, I've noticed that watch on Ali too! I already have Omiwatari homage from Addiesdive (with light blue dial), which looks kind of similar to this one. I'd consider 69 $ to be a fair price, and I "liked" this watch in my mobile Ali app so maybe I will pick up this one at some point, especially since the dial really is a selling point for me here (the blue one on Omiwatari homage is nice, but isn't as spectacular as I was expecting). However, if the watch was automatic, had a sapphire crystal and maybe a different bracelet, it would be insta-buy, even at (obviously) higher price point. I don't like those big bracelet links that much; again in case of aforementioned Omiwatari homage Addiesdive went with jubilee bracelet, which was a good decision in my opinion - it's of good quality and most importantly - super comfy. I do agree about Addiesdive logo - I don't really mind it personally, but I admit it looks kind of tacky on some of the watches. It could use some streamlining, just like Berny did with theirs.
Lovely. But "deepseahunter" and 100m/330ft...? One of those things is not like the other and staring at it all day would be like an itch I can't scratch. I WANTED to like this watch.
No sapphire crystal is a deal breaker. Logo is big and obviously kind of childish, I don't mind it so much on my "sumo" homage but this is a dress watch.
$65 is an odd price point. Imagine what they could do if they bumped the price to $100-120: sapphire crystal, chamfered edges, better bracelet/clasp and better overall finishing...
At first glance it seems ok but that logo really puts me off, a sterile dial would look loads better and the crystal is a showstopper. I could live with acrylic if they dont want to put sapphire in. With that profile it's just a question of time before there are chunks missing. I tried the Polywatch for mineral glass and the improvement was minimal.
Is that the same bracelet the San Martin uses? The too short ones? The bracelet you can not order an extra link for? My wrist is 25 cm, not 19... Please :(
The "waves" on the dial to me just look like it got damp and became a bit wrinkled. Agree with other comments re the logo. Still need to get a watch with this movement, just not this one.
So what am I expected to do for my 8.6" wrist, no additional links are supplied and I would end up with a $$$ I couldnt even wear unless I used a different band
Like everyone else, I would like a V2 with a new logo (or no logo) and remove this absurd "deepseahunter". And in addition of the V2 version, a premium version would be cool. Of course with the same modifications of the V2, but with a sapphire crystal, better finishing and a better bracelet. I think it would sell well.
Great looking watch if you can ignore the branding's appearance and meaning! It's amazing how these Chinese companies get the branding wrong so often - but I'm starting to think it doesn't really matter to them. Much like the teenage girl who proudly but unknowingly has "chicken chow mein" tattooed on her neck in Chinese symbols, I imagine addiesdive are selling loads of these in China to people who just think it looks foreign and cool regardless of context!
OK, just got mine in the mail....I ordered the light blue. I am way UNDER amazed...... The dial is a very unappealing blue color and the 'wave' pattern is very weak and only really apparent in the upper 1/3 of the dial. Oh well.....I guess I'll gift it or give it away...... A BIG swing and a MISS for me in the blue....maybe in another color.... The rest of the watch really IS very nicely done, I will say.....an awesome dress watch but not for me in the blue dial version
Why Deep Sea Hunter? If the deem some dial inscription they could easily have found something that makes more sense. I guess I'm going to live without buying this watch due to its mineral crystal. What a shame!
I'm guessing because the dial is supposed to look like the seabed not a desert. I have this watch with the white dial and i never really notice the deep sea hunter text unless i'm actively looking for it. I also don't really mind the logo much its just the name “addiesdive” that bothers me, whenever i look at it i think of adidas. It's such a shame so many of these Chinese brands can't get their naming right when it should be the easiest step.
Note to manufacturer, redesign the logo, you will sell more watches.
💯
X2
@@marlboro9tibiketrue but a redesign of the logo would help
Agreed! Don’t mind the logo on a tool watch but dislike it on a dressier watch
Definitely
Cool. Nice dials. Yet the name.. why name it “deep sea hunter”??
No thinking there🤷🏼♂️
I have a couple of the VH31 movement Addiesdives and I am absolutely delighted with them. One runs at 1.5 secs fast per week and the other 1 second slow per week. For V2 this should lose the logo and the deepseahunter line
Exactly…what is a deep sea hunter anyway, an attack submarine?
@magstheonlyone DEEPSEAHUNTER isn’t on mine . I paid £33 . It’s an awesome watch , I highly recommend it. I chose the Tiffany blue colour . It’s beautiful 😊

Thanks..really appreciate it
The Addiesdive name and logo seem to be relatively too big for this sized dial 😕.
Otherwise looks really good.
Great review as always! This one is in my shopping cart waiting for the sale in a few weeks. I love the sand dune effect, so eye-catching.
I asked the seller to come with a Sapphire Crystal, I'd suggest others do so as well to push them towards sapphire. Id love acrylic as well but if it moves to sapphire it will likely lose the double dome.
If you don't like the logo, get the automatic version. It's much cleaner and has the same pattern and a date. Planning on buying that
I got the brown dial one… love it… very retro in design I thought particularly the crystal, reminds me of 70’s acrylic crystals…
I love the Logo! No change please!
Great little somewhat sporty beater, that's beautiful to look at every time you glance down. Hard to beat! (pardon pun)
Really nice looking watch, would also probably go for the desert one. I can ignore the logo and sea text on the desert dial, but for me mineral is the killer. Half my collection has mineral, but with boxed/domed crystals I need sapphire for peace of mind
Nice looking watch, but not a dive watch which the name suggests.
I changed the hands on mine to navy blue luminous ones . Looks stunning now..
I picked up the AD2118 omniwatari homage and I'm blown away with the quality. Absolutely beautiful and running one second a day fast out of the box.

Thanks Brian
Thanks to the manufacturer for making just such a logo and the name of the brand and watch model, because maybe at least a little less people will buy these wonderful watches and we won’t all walk around wearing them like chickens in an incubator)
Great
nice watch for the price... brown and blue look nicer for me .... cheers
I have the Tiffany blue dial one. Mine came without the “ DEEPSEAHUNTER” . It’s a beautiful watch . Paid £34 .00
This looks awesome. I don't even mind the crystal. This colour way is to me as nice as the sand dune one. If they removed the addiesdive text and left the logo alone it would sell more!
I suspect this is also a strap monster.
Thanks Gary
To anyone liking this (but put off by the logo/dial): use a silver paint pen to turn these elements silver. 😂
AD,, or rename their brand, anything would improve their logo and name design at this point. It's the reason many people don't buy their watches
It looks like a kids watch with that logo 😱
Great comment :)
idk i kinda like it
Great dial and overall feel. Crown is funky and not easy to change metal bracelet (meh). A bit of roughness around lugs interiors. A good overall looker given the attractive dial and markers. Good Holiday pricing. Hopefully, more in-depth YT reviews available.
Nice looking watch, but "deep seahunter" and 100m waterresistant seems funny combo.😁
1:23 That is a handsome watch!
Thanks for the review. Beautiful watch and the price makes it a bargain.
The mineral crystal doesn't bother me (I've worn them for years and never scratched one) as much as Seiko's refusal to make non chrono mechaquarzt with a date window. That and the lack of lume can't be made up by the low price IMHO, and keeps it from being a good grab and go.
I like how it shows on your hand and I have to agree with you the brown/sand dial looks much better
Amazing value proposition.
You're right about that logo tho, the 'tough-guy diver' isn't reflected in the rather elegant GSesque watch at all.
Looks good Gary I’ve been looking at these since they surfaced recently not sure about the design but now you have reviewed it I reckon it’s worth it I like the adjustable bracelet never seen that amount of adjustment on a cheap stock bracelet.I think the white is slightly better than the beige
Very nice, but agree, the logo kills it for me, not too bothered about the crystsl though tbh
Totally. 😂
Great review as always! Beautiful looking watch. Too bad about the crystal and other small details. The logo and 19mm lug width stops me from purchasing it. Hopefully a V2 comes out with different specs.
People are so ridiculous when it comes to strap length, like proportionally a 19mm endlinks suits
Is this a watch safe do swim on a beach?
Nice looking watch, especially for the money. Would like to see this in 40/41mm and definitely ditch the logo.
Hit them up on aliexpress and let them know? They might listen
How do you change the battery on that one? You have to remove crown with the stem to remove that grey plastic movement holder?
I bought this one in june, cool watch, I really liked it.
Yep, definitely the brown one, Gary
I love the quartz movement "but" with sapphire even if i have to pay more.
Hate the branding, love the watch. Incredible VFM
I may buy this watch for a friend for the Christmas Holidays. I am looking forward to your Alliexpress Nov 11 presale review. I hope you will include a few ladies watches in the review, too.
Best friend?
Would that Ice Blue dial look good in an all black housing and bracelet? In my mind I think that would look amazing!
I got the brown dial. It is a stunning watch. I think they used an Explorer 1 style case for it.
If they keep that gorgious dial, but add lume, sapphire glass, 200m WR and an NH35. I think people would pay much more for it. That dial and super explorer case. I'd go sand dial and the pale blue.

VK31, the official mvt for companies that don't want to improve QC and want to sell more watches
Simplify logo …..drop “deep sea hunter”……. and I’ll buy in 2 colours.
So much to like ….but can’t get over my above gripe.
Has anyone bought a sapphire replacement crystal for this? If so, what is the exact size?
A underwater watch with no lume....right...
Какие часы лучше купить Addiesdive или Casio mdv 107?
I love the look of this one
I like the logo doesn’t bother me 😊
That’s a nice looking piece especially that dial ❤
I really like it. My fav is the sand color tone dial.
Does this look white in person or hints of silver. Thank you
$65 is an odd price point. Imagine what they could do if they bumped the price to $100-120: sapphire crystal, chamfered edges, better bracelet/clasp and better overall finishing...
Which is better value, Gary, this or Escapement Time?
The ideal was a stérile version...
At first glance it seems ok but that logo really puts me off, a sterile dial would look loads better and the crystal is a showstopper. I could live with acrylic if they dont want to put sapphire in. With that profile it's just a question of time before there are chunks missing. I tried the Polywatch for mineral glass and the improvement was minimal.
for 10 bucks more you can get the auto with sapphire, an NH35A, and a MUCH nicer logo!
It look like Grand Seiko ?❤
Beautiful watch.
You can order this watch without the logo. I received mine and there’s no logo or name at all. Nothing on the dial, crown or on the case back!
I like the watch overall, not that nitpicky I guess
If this was 39mm I would buy in a heartbeat!
I need a daily quartz thinking this is it
They have to tell us 100m = 330 ft? Funny stuff..1 foot is 12 inches. Did you know that? I like the watch. I picked mine up for $46.
The only thing remotely cool about this watch is the dial. The case looks like every other generic rolex wannabe. Love your channel btw.
Gorgeous sand dune dial. But the gaudy pirate logo of this brand ruins everything. 😑
Completely.
Don't move around stuff you want to show please...Can't see it if you do not hold it still..
Picked this up for £28 in the recent anniversary sale. Absolute bargain!
Singular is index, plural is indices.
Or indexes. Look it up.
The brown dial is stunning.
So what am I expected to do for my 8.6" wrist, no additional links are supplied and I would end up with a $$$ I couldnt even wear unless I used a different band
Like everyone else, I would like a V2 with a new logo (or no logo) and remove this absurd "deepseahunter".

I'll pay $100 for a version that has sapphire and removes the logo on the dial.
or 3000$ for Rolex with logo :)
Crazy crystal for such price. Who cares about durability on a $70 watch? I dont.
So close to being a really desirable watch but they dont quite seem to understand the details that would have them flying off the shelves.
"The clasp is okay,, for the money it's very very good actually... it just doesn't feel like a great clasp even for AliX standards"
ugh, what?
Is that really what I said 😂 probably made perfect sense in my head, the message just got mixed up on the way to my mouth!
Love the way the lugs taper towards the strap ‼️
However 36 mm is just too small 😕
damn no sapphire, wtf, put a sapphire on it, offer a jubilee bracelet as well and they'll be rolling in money
19mm lugs too?!?!? someone needs a good slap in the face
You seem disappointed, but for the money is great watch.
Addiesdive
That logo ruins the watch... maybe just have the logo and get rid of the wording?
Why Deep Sea Hunter? If the deem some dial inscription they could easily have found something that makes more sense. I guess I'm going to live without buying this watch due to its mineral crystal. What a shame!
I'm guessing because the dial is supposed to look like the seabed not a desert. I have this watch with the white dial and i never really notice the deep sea hunter text unless i'm actively looking for it. the logo is horrendous
Murdered by Mineral
I am hoping they do this one in 40 mm. 36 is just too small
