Bindu Chawla I know this is a whole month but I think it depends on the person, some people who have it for years while others a few days so depending how how painful it is and how much time the TMJ affects the person. With less severe cases needing less time to heal

The last year, I’ve been in such immense pain everyday. I’ve tried countless remedies and stretches but I SWEAR by these videos! They helped so much. I recently got injections on both sides of my jaw, so that paired with these stretches are the only reason I’m able to sleep again. I’ve probably watched each of these videos 1000x each! Thank you SO MUCH. I cried if relief the first time I discovered this. I know I sound dramatic, but those who live with this chronic pain day in and day out know how desperate it can be for a second of relief. Thank you!! 😩😭

I'm guessing you already have, but have you been to the dentist to get a biteguard you so that your jaw is relaxed while your sleeping? I had a tension headache for 3 months straight, horrible pain, got a biteguard and after less than a month my pain went away! Continue what you're doing, hope you feel better! God Bless :)

I found the link to these videos on a reddit thread and after 4 weeks of daily pratice, i feel so much better! Having had a surgery last year due to 24x7 TMJ pain, after lots of money spent on medication, physiotherapy which hardly help, these videos have been an absolute life SAVER! Thanks Dr. Adams, you have really a made a difference in my life. As I was starting with the videos, i read the comments and I desperately wanted these to work for me. I had some secret hope that they would work, not too much as my TMJ pain has brought me to such a dark phase in my life. And now, 4 weeks after doing these series of videos, i feel so much better. I am not taking any meds right now and only doing these exercises. Some exercises are still pretty painful but just get through it, you will be alright!

Can’t eat, can’t use tongue scraper or brush teeth without screaming of pain and crying to GOD! TMJ destroyed my gums too in the right side and periodontist won’t do anything till I take care of TMJ pain! I found your video and desperately did it last night once … I immediately found a little relief… I can’t wait to do it every day! If you are dealing with gum disease I would recommend cutting out a lot of refined carbs, sugars, even sugary fruits, and instead opting for meat, veggies, high quality dairy and eggs. This diet has really helped me improve my own gum disease issues.

Thank you so so much Dr, I’ve been battling for six years with jaw/face/ear pain for six years, it’s been debilitating for me and no dr believed my TMJ was causing any of this, I’ve had the lowest of lows thinking I can’t live like this for much longer. I found your videos a week ago and have been doing the exercises religiously every single day and they have worked amazingly for me. When I start to have an attack I do the exercises and it stops them in their tracks, you’ve been my miracle! Thank you, thank you, thank you 🙏

Troy, yes, TMJ causes ear pain, stuffiness in the ears, dizziness, hearing loss, eye pain (when you move your eyeballs). along with pain and fatigue, depression and anxiety. MDs should know this, but a lot of them have no idea. Hope you are still finding relief. I have been doing these exercises regularly since last August, and they have helped immensely.

@@shathaway13 you have literally described all of my symptoms. I’ve been seeing a holistic doctor and she keeps pushing antibiotics 🙄 won’t refer me to an ENT and keeps prescribing me different supplements. Thank you so much! I have been just massaging my jaw with no game plan other than temporary relief and today the pain was so unbearable I did the RUclips dive. I watched a few videos before yours that were helpful technically but I really didn’t feel any results. After completing the whole phase one video I am not only physically relieved but also mentally because I have been beginning to fear I had irreparable damage to my jaw, teeth and neck. I have had issues for many years with my neck and ears and every doctor I’ve seen offered no solution other than to prescribe muscle relaxers or tell me to take pseudoephedrine. My frustration with the medical community at this point in my life (I also have other medical issues) is so monumental that I cannot even begin to describe my gratefulness when I came across your video. The fact that you make these videos which are truly helpful shows you care about teaching others how to take charge of their health. It is a blessing to see people effecting change in our healthcare system based on open access and a genuine concern for humanity’s wellbeing. Namaste 🙏

The fact you take the time to do the exercises with us is the key here, it's like doing a mini class with a happy positive instructor - thank you!. I've had various issues over the years, and with each one I've come to realise more and more that all those issues are on my left side (from ankle, through back, neck and now head). Earlier this year I had chronic dizziness, and soon after that the tooth/jaw/face pain started. I thought it was a tooth problem, as did my dentist, but it turns out it's TMJ. I'm only a few days in to doing these exercises, but I believe they are already helping. I'll keep going for a few more weeks and report back. Thank you again.

These videos are amazing! My TMJ has got gradually worse over the last year, with doctors' fairly dimissive of the effects of constant pain, or high dose painkillers. New years eve I was very low, facing another year with no sign of improvement and struggling with managing daily life.
Found and started the videos and within days the pain is almost gone, and if it does atart to recurr, doing the 10min exercises relieves it. As others have said, doctors seem to approach tmj by treating the symptoms, with pain killers, mouth guards etc, not addressing the cause. But the self care mantra is so true, and these exercises work on the jaw, just as you'd exercise any other part of yoru body.
Could not be more grateful! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I have hope again!

These exercises are easy to commit to because they are short and Dr. Fields is so upbeat and encouraging. I am so thankful I found this site.

While its only been 2 days since I found them, I finally feel at peace that I WILL overcome this TMJ. Thank you sooo very much for taking the time to make these videos. You are making a difference in people's lives including mine ♥️

Thanks a million, Mr, Fields. Had a couple spine affecting injuries. And I'm 6'3" so forward head posture is par for the course. Your lightheartedness goes a long way, as well. Keep enlightening people. You are meant to do this :-)

This is also amazing! I feel a lot more relaxed and my face a bit looser. I play saxophone and after my gigs this weekend my face on one side has swollen and is so tense! I was in fear that I wont be able to play but I think if i keep up these exercises then there is a lot of hope!

Brilliant! Thankyou! I just survived some horrible dental treatment, where she forced my jaw open to get to the back tooth for a filling. I'm now told by a new dentist that I have bruxism and I have to wear a nightguard. I really don't like that idea, so hopefully these moves will make all the difference. I have just done all the videos on this subject and my whole face is singing!

I came across your videos for TMJ pain and clicking yesterday. I exercised along with you yesterday and today, and I can already feel the difference! Thank you so much for making these instructional videos available and helping so many of us. I have had an Internal Medicine doctor look at my jaws, had X-rays done, but didn’t get any intervention because the X-rays were normal. I don’t know why it took me so long to do the research myself. I’m just glad I came across your videos and found them not too difficult to do, and your good looking face made it even more inspiring. Best of luck to you in your chosen profession, and God Bless you.

Hello Dr. Fields, I've been suffering with jaw, face, ear and eye pain on the right side of my face, for over 4 months. I've been to the ENT, no infection. My Dentist cannot see anything wrong. I have fallen through the cracks with no help in sight. No one wants to deal with TMJ, which they said may be the case. So, I decided to go online for self help and came across your videos. I would like to thank you for sharing your knowledge on the subject. I tried your exercises for the first time today (1&2). I hope and pray that I will finally have some relief soon. I enjoyed the good energy you projected on to your audience. :)

Thank you so much! I remember stumbling upon your videos back in 2020 when I first experienced chronic headaches and vertigo after a bout of stress. I assumed the worst and had an MRI but with some research discovered that it could be TMJ/D as culprit after years of bruxism and failing to adequately care for my jaw. These exercises worked for me then and I am back again now 🙏🏽

I have been to 7 Dentists and spent thousands of dollars to only have teeth pulled and root canals. Still no relief. My Doctors just keep giving me opioids' for pain for the last three-years and no relief. I can hardly sleep from the pain. I started the videos and after just a few days I started to get some relief. It's been two weeks of these exercises and it's almost gone. I can sleep through the night with no pain. No more pain pills! Thank you DOCTOR FIELDS.
