45 years of suffering and thousands of dollars seeking relief...didn't work at all or very little. Your videos, Dr. Fields, have given me freedom from pain, vertigo, brain fog, extreme fatigue, anxiety, and depression. I am so grateful to you.

@@Mathaveld I've been doing breathing exercises for about a year from "The Oxygen Advantage". Doing Dr. Fields videos on top of that seems to have really helped. I do them in the AM, so it's less of a relaxing thing, and more of a breathing easier thing. My CO2 tolerance has also gone up.

I had so much tension, I began to cry at the word “forgiveness”…it seems to be a theme surrounding me these days…I couldn’t stop crying, so I struggled to finish the exercise😅…but I will definitely come back to this and do it everyday! I obviously need it!

Man I love you lol, your words are so gentle and true. I can tell you my chiropractor stuck his fingers in the tmj joint and had me open my mouth wide(without holding my tongue on the roof) and it causesd clicking and pain in my right TMJ, which i never had before he did it. Now I have slight tinnitus in that ear as well. I think the issue was I opened up too wide and didn't hold my tongue against the roof. Really stinks that that happened though.

I posted to see if other women out there have tmj pain and dysfunction going through menopause and beyond. The amount of women who suffer and reached out to me was astounding. One lady mentioned your videos and I will commit do doing these daily and stay hopeful it will help me. It appears as I am reading more and more that TMJ can appear during menopause as our hormones decline and just wondering if you have any specific exercises or advice you can add or share as you'll be helping millions of women, myself included who are in daily pain. God always points the way when you put your trust in Him. I asked him to finally relieve the pain on the left side of my jaw. It had been going on for 3 days, where I woke up with me not being able to open my mouth without some pain. He led me to this video out of the blue when I was looking up something else. I just watched and on top of the exercises helping, the moment you gave the word of the day "forgiveness" I hadn't realized how much I needed to hear that. It made me cry and I felt the weight lift off my shoulders. Thank you for helping me and others like this for free. You are a God send and I am now subscribed. Keep doing Gods work Dr. Fields. You are truly a blessing and I look forward to doing more exercises with you. God bless you! 🙏

Thank you Dr. Field's! I know you're out in Cali but thanks from Renfrew, ON Canada. Your videos help me every day! Please like his video's, he should be a household name. Personally, I wish every town had a Dr. Field's. I love #3,#4 and now #6! Amazing how the popping and pain descipates. It really hit home when he says "it can mimic a toothache" i went gor an emergency dentist appt and was surprised when my dentist said my masseter muscle was incredibly inflamed/swollen. No toothache. Your video's make me feel like i'm not alone, and that someone actually understands how painful TMJD(Temporomandibular Joint Dissorder) can be. Just thank you

    Dr. Fields,
I have had TMJ since I was AT LEAST 15 (I am now 28). I've always had tinnitus in my right ear, but a few years back, that same ear filled with fluid from allergies. It got slightly better but has felt full and kept tinnitus since. Even though I pop my ears, the right one never feels like it opens up. This has also caused hearing loss (an ENT tried telling me that I have permanent hearing loss and would need a hearing aid or surgery on my middle ear to see what's wrong). Not sure it's really permanent or not, but the fullness and tinnitus drives me nuts nonetheless. It's also worth mentioning that I have a very big, sore knot on my right suboccipital (same side as the irritated ear).
Last night when I did this video, my tinnitus quieted down a bit for the first time in a LONG time. So, thank you for that. But I am wondering, for someone with TMJ-induced ear problems, would you recommend a specific set of videos per day?
    Thank you!

Also, part of what confirms it's TMJ is that the acupuncture on the bad ear was SO TENDER!!!! But the left ear acupuncture moves didin't hurt at all. That was helpful and affirming as well!

Thanks Dr, I’ve been doing your videos (almost daily) to mitigate my tinnitus. The tongue exercise in particular video surprised me because I realised I can trigger my tinnitus by pushing my tongue out and curling the tip upwards. I’m no medical professional but what about this styloglossus muscle, could that be a tinnitus culprit? I sincerely believe that you would do many a favour if you could explore tinnitus exercises in more depth ❤

Hi and thanks for reaching out. I cannot make a diagnosis on RUclips. However, I can tell you that the PRP will cause some inflammation in the joint and could throw off your balance. Check in with the doctor who did the procedure and see what they recommend. If you can, try some focused ESWT next time or, right now, get some laser therapy on the joint to help the PRP and push the inflammation resolution through faster.

Hi, That is possible but not common. As the pain was delayed, it will be difficult to find which of the exercises flared it up. I would try the TMJ #3 and TMJ #5 videos for more subtle exercises and then branch out from there making sure that you can handle the videos. Go light and find out what works for you. Hang in there. You will be able to get through this.

Hi Dr Adam, greetings from Australia (or maybe that should be G'day). I had a sudden episode of not being able to open my jaw about 6 months ago, I tried to eat a toasted sandwich and I just couldn't open my mouth without excruciating pain on the right side right at the TMJ. I had to break the sandwich into pieces and stuff it into my mouth. This seemed to fluctuate in how much I could open it from then on, but pretty much always with pain. I think my jaw also started to make crunching/clicking/grinding sounds shortly after. I have worn a plate at night to protect my teeth from grinding/clenching for years now and on my latest visit to the dentist, she decided to alter it to lessen the pressure on the back teeth where I was doing the majority of the clenching (this is a temporary measure as she is having new ones made, both top and bottom). I am hoping the small adjustment she ha made to one of my teeth might help, but I feel that there is a slight deviation to the right when I open my mouth that never used to be there and the muscles on that side seem really tight. I only discovered your videos a week ago, and they are definitely helping. I intend to keep at it for a while to see if they can loosen things up and set things back to normal. Thanks.
