I don't usually comment on videos, but I felt it was necessary to chime in. For anyone who is in need of neuromuscular re-education (virtually the whole population) you just came to the right place. It is apparent to me that Dr. Fields is highly knowledgable and uses a Scientific Approach for prescribing these corrective exercises. You simply don't get that level of expertise with all doctors, so thank you for uploading these videos Dr. Fields.

My obstructive sleep apnea was due to a vitamin D3 deficiency. My D3 level was 8. My ND had me take 30,000 IU of Vitamin D3 and 300 mcg of K2 per day. After six weeks, I noticed a difference. After 4 months, my D3 level is at 82 and I continue to take 10,000 IU of Vitamin and 100 mcg per day. I can sleep with no mouth device. I get no headaches when I wake up, and my energy level is increased so I required no coffee. My blood pressure went from 180/130 to 120/75, a nd I lost 50 pounds since I started this protocol. I get my D level checked every 4 month to ensure there is no Vitamin D toxicity level.

I have been doing these exercises for about "10" weeks. It actually took about three weeks to help. Which maked sense, given that it is muscle training. But once it did began to work, the difference was amazing--I now sleep uninterrupted! I now do the exercises twice daily. I am a firm believer, in this preventative method! Thank you, for this help--it works!

Going to the ENT tomorrow. I have been dealing with snoring , pitch breaks, onset delays, my throat always feels swollen and it appears that every time I had a baby the throat issues got worse to the point I could barely swallow water. I'm in pain right now and happened to be on RUclips to see if anyone was dealing with the same. I came upon this video and said "what the heck!" and completed the exercises. WOW... Thank you doc! The pressure in my sinuses diminished and my ears popped which I thought was super odd. I'm getting sleepy from how relaxed I was after completing the video. THANK YOU TONS!!! Chiros ROCK!

Hey Adam, thank you so much for these videos. My name is Ethan. I am 20 years old and struggle with sleep apnea. I am not overweight, and I am healthy. I decided to look into a sleep study to see what kind/and how bad I have it. I want to heal the root problems naturally, instead of relying on a CPAP that only treats the problem. When I find out the results of the study I will post them. This is day 1 of trying the exercises from all 3 of your videos. Along with that, I plan on exercising my lungs/ diaphragm with an O2 Trainer, blowing up modeling ballon’s, hiking, and practicing proper tongue placement by MEWing everyday with proper form. My goal is to completely cure my sleep apnea. 4-6 months from now after consistently doing these exercises along with the other training I mentioned I plan on getting another sleep study, so I can see the results on paper and shock my doctors. I will report back when the results of the first study come in, and I will check in once a month to update everyone on my progress. Here’s to better sleeping!🎉

As I'm 35, I preferred to fix the problem instead of being hooked to a machine for the rest of my life, so I decided to try everything. Once I started doing your V1/V2 videos once a day I'm happy to report I have been sleeping perfectly, only sometimes wearing a positioning device (which is perfectly fine) to help me sleep on my side. It has "15" months since I began the exercises. I do at least "1" of them "2-3" times daily. Some days I employ all of the exercises. I used to have apnea attacks every night. I now sleep through the night, every night. I have yet to miss a day of the exercises. At first I was skeptical. I did not see immediate results but, I stayed with it and results happened. These exercises have worked wonders for my sleep. I understand that results may be different from person to person; albeit, discipline has worked for me. If one is not disciplined, these exercises probably will not work. Do not give up, if you do not see immediate results--the exercises worked wonders for me. It is muscle training! And this is not an overstatement. This is my "3rd" post to report my progress over the last "15" months. To all of the skeptics be patient and do the work! Thank you so much, Dr. Fields, these exercises have literally changed my life!

This led to being tired and always needing a powernap throughout the day. After about a week of doing these stretches daily before sleep I am already noticing a difference. I do not wake up as frequently and am more energised throughout the day without requiring a nap. Will continue doing them for sure! Thank you sir!

Excellent presentation - addresses not only what to do, but why. These are exercises traditional to the yogic sciences/Ayurveda, which have a comprehensive understanding of what the body/mind really is and how it is integrated and regulated. So pleased to this this coming from a western-trained physician - of course an open-minded DC instead of a Pharma Puppet MD. Be aware that sleep apnea can be caused by many of the hypertension meds. It is fundamentally a dysregulation in vagal tone.

I tried these kinds of exercises for quite a while. They didn't help much. But using a breathing training thing like Ultra Breathe or expand-a-lung has definitely done the trick. I use it 5 minutes about three times per week, a little more often at first. I still do the tongue exercises but at least for me, without the breathing trainer, they simply would not be enough. Sweet dreams.

Dr. Fields, It is so generous of you to share these exercises with the general public. I just found this video today, after doing considerable research since getting my C-PAP following a diagnosis of severe sleep apnea. It is 1/30/23. I have set a goal of using this video as a teacher until 2/28/23. If it's making a difference, I'm committed to doing these exercises regularly for life. Thank you again.

🤩 wow Thanks so much!!! I feel my tongue tongue resting in on the right place of my mouth already and the muscles in front of my throat sore which is good. I’m already imagining my double chin disappearing, all from bad tongue posture. I also think this exercises will stop me from snoring!!!! Great Video and you’re so cute too! Subscribed !!!!

I started doing V1 about a week ago. The first two days I did them in the morning and didn’t notice a difference. I then started doing them right before bed. My sleep tracker AHI score went from 9.1 to 5.3 in three days. I’m still waking up a lot but will continue with the exercises.

Just doing this before bed, and when I do I don't wake up gasping. I probably have mild sleep apnea, as normally this would happen 3-4 times a week at most. So glad I found this. It's workable and doable!. The C-pap machine and the mouth piece I just couldn't do. I have a didgerydoo on order that should arrive soon. I'm looking forward to adding that to my regime.

Not real sure why this video popped up in my feed but I am impressed by the comments. I have sleep apnea and some allergies and I absolutely hate the bipap mask. I use the pillows and manage but the full or partial face mask is not an option at all! I will try to do these as close to daily as possible and see how things are by this fall. Thank you! I never knew there were exercises that could help sleep apnea.

Wow that's really sleep abnea. I had a cpap machine for 20years, from 42 to 62. One day my partner discovereda juice recipe for abnea in a juicing book. Juice 2 carrots, 1 apple with peel, 1 lemon with peel & a big piece of ginger. I drink it every morning for a long time. It seemed so healthy that my partner had it too. Occasionally I slept with my partner without my machine on. One day she said to me, " you don't have the abnea any more." I went back to the abnea specialist

This video was a Godsend. I was a chronic clencher from stress. Shifted my teeth and damaged my wisdom teeth. Started doing this nightly and after about 2-3 weeks, I noticed I don't wake up with my gums sore anymore. I used to wake up feeling like I had been chewing hard bricks all night from jaw soreness. No more!! I wish I knew about this about 15 years ago. Would have saved some teeth and dental issues!
I have no idea if it's done anything for my snoring as I sleep alone, but I do notice my mouth is no longer dry when I wake up.
