I have watched you rescue pieces of history, that others can appreciate. You have become quite the professional at furniture restoration. I will look forward to another year of rescues.
Thank you. 😀
I'm a Recent Subscriber and I Love your Work! You have a nice Editing Style! It has a Similar Quality to Modern Makeovers from Canada. I hope to see More Competitions in the New Year!
😀
The 181 year old chest was my favorite. Stellar result! Happy New Year
😀
Congratulations! Good job!🌷🌷
😀
Planing and sanding!😻
All excellent restorations! Looking forward to more in 2024!
😀
Absolutely fabulous on all 3 pieces, I love to watch French polishing I think as in your last piece.
😀
I'll say it again, that 2nd one has some beautiful wood and it was a crime to paint over it. Your restoration brought out its beauty. wonderfully.
😀
I agree, however, not everyone really appreciates such things. Most likely they obtained it but never really 'saw' the beauty. It's not unheard of. Masterpieces found with decades of dirt & grime. When seen by a knowledgeable eye, $$$$$s are recognized...true value!
@@kateburk2168 - agreed, esp when you consider how tatses differ from time to time. Think it was 50s "bare wood" wasn't so popular and preferrred to paint it. 20s... was different, art deco was popular for some but not all. ect, ect, ect. 1800s, you could see simplistic designs and modest paintings, not entire thing but maybe flowers painted on with plain wood behind.
Tastes also differed from region to region, art deco would not be popular in the countryside (well not much)
Beautiful! Well done!
😀
Excellent bro 👏👏 Happy new year 👍👍
😀
What a beautiful transformation fantastic job ❤❤❤❤
😀
Absolutely beautiful !
😀

Can you advise your BackGround Music 29:55 - 31:30
I'm a sucker for instrumental pieces that are dramatic but wistful. 🎼😺
I'm sorry. I didn't save the music. I get the music from Epidemic Sound. Search there or try Google Music recognition.
Thank you for the many comments. 😀
@@chrigunrestauration 🙏
I will also try Shazam at the same time.
Keep on keeping on! 🚶♂️👍😸
My favorite is the last piece. You are a master in your craft!!!
😀
A LONG video!
My favorite kind!
Since I came to you later, only one looks familiar.
Your older ones haven't all fallen into my feed yet, according to the Google algorithm.
👍😸
😀
Shiny Blonde Wood was a real trend for a while. 😼
🤷♀️
Saving the knots instead of using a dowel to fill. 👍😺
Ok. Thanks
Och Chlorgas ist doch was feines.🤪
😀 Das wünsche ich auch.
😀
Could give us the steps and material used for your polishing technique? The piece is beautiful!
Thanks. I explain it in detail in this video.

Beau travail de restauration !
😀
Are cold hammers that heat absorbing on gluing veneers!😺
The cold hammer ensures that the glue cools down. Only then does it get stuck.
I’d be inclined to leave the hardware alone; the patina looks quite nice…😊
Vous êtes un magicien !
😀
The last one is an incredible piece saved!
😀

If any of the ‘gold’ accents are real… would the furniture stripper remove it?
The paint stripper removes paint and not metal
Shedding paint like a snake sheds its skin!🐍😹
