    Ich bin überrascht, wie enorm erfolgreich du mit deinen Videos geworden bist. Die ersten waren noch Videos eines ambitionierten Hobbybastlers und jetzt hast du mit super Kameraführung und sehr guten handwerklichen Leistungen ein riesiges Publikum für dich erschlossen. Herzlichen Glückwunsch dazu. 👍👍👍👍👍

    I'll say it again, that 2nd one has some beautiful wood and it was a crime to paint over it. Your restoration brought out its beauty. wonderfully.

      I agree, however, not everyone really appreciates such things. Most likely they obtained it but never really 'saw' the beauty. It's not unheard of. Masterpieces found with decades of dirt & grime. When seen by a knowledgeable eye, $$$$$s are recognized...true value!

    • @Katzztar
      @Katzztar 5 месяцев назад

      @@kateburk2168 - agreed, esp when you consider how tatses differ from time to time. Think it was 50s "bare wood" wasn't so popular and preferrred to paint it. 20s... was different, art deco was popular for some but not all. ect,ect, ect. 1800s, you could see simplistic designs and modest paintings, not entire thing but maybe flowers painted on with plain wood behind.
      Tastes also differed from region to region, art deco would not be popular in the countryside (well not much)

    Schönes Video, Chris.
    Bei 00:46 habe ich geschmunzelt, wo du versucht hast die Schraube mit einen "Lügenstift" zu lösen. Sowas geht meistens in die Hose, weil die spitze vom Lügenstift nicht gehärtet ist. 🤔🤭
    Die Strahlkabine sieht genauso aus wie meine. habe auch Strahlmittel schwarz, aber auch Glasperlen zum strahlen.
    Öhm, was bewirkt die Mixtur von Wasserstoffperoxid und Ammoniaklösung?

    • @chrigunrestauration
      @chrigunrestauration  5 месяцев назад +2

      Das stimmt. er hat da gelegen und ich habe danach gegriffen. 🤷‍♀️ Die Mixtur bewirkt eine schnelle Bleichwirkung. Das Ammoniak darf aber nicht mehr im Verhältnis als 3% dazu gegeben werden. es entsteht Chlorgas.

      The cold hammer ensures that the glue cools down. Only then does it get stuck.
