Been nicotine free for 7 months now. After my 3rd day trying to quit, I realized it’s all a mental thing. Once you realize that, quitting gets a lot easier. You just have to tell yourself you don’t need it. I kept reminding myself that I didn’t wanna be a slave to nicotine anymore, and wanted to stop wasting money on a pointless addiction that wasn’t helping me in anyway.

I quit vaping, cold-turkey, this past Saturday. It’s been 4 days. Your videos have helped. Every time I have a big craving I watch one of your videos to help remind me why I’m doing this. Day 2 was probably the hardest. It’s been getting easier. I drink a lot of tea and Celsius when I get a craving too. Gym helps as well. Quitting was way easier then I thought. I literally was vaping in the middle of the night and as soon as I would wake up. It was bad. Thanks for helping. My life has already improved. I’m way more productive. I think clearer too. Didn’t realize how much the nicotine was affecting my whole mood.

I'm using niacin and a nicotine patch to try and take the edge off because the feelings of stress, anxiety and compulsive urge to go and buy a vape are so intense, I need all the help I can get. I have to go out tomorrow and the temptation to buy a vape might be too great to resist. This video was very helpful though, it gives me strength, confidence and encouragement. wow one of the best videos I came across while trying to fight my smoking addiction. I have been addicted to weed for the past 6 years and finally was able to stop puffing. but when it came to smoking cigarettes it is more harder as I have been smoking since I was 16 and now I'm 35. And there has never been a day after turning 16 did I ever stop smoking even for half a day. I smoke 3 packets per day then reduced it to one packet per day. It's that bad but today I reached a point where I finally got pissed off at myself for trying to quit for so long but have never been able to. After what you said I finally found someone who understood the meaning of addiction in my case and the tricks that the mind played on me. So starting now I will not touch another cigarette {which I have never done ever since 16} and challenge myself to the 72 hours to control my cravings. thanks doc you are inspiring me to break these chains that has bind me all these years. 72 hours!!!

Use E cigarttes pods like Caliburn. First use a 50mg juice, for someone who smoke 3 packs a day you will need a 50mg nic content e juice.
From there gradually reduce the nic content to 30mg. Then 24mg. Then 12mg and so on until zero nicotine.
Ive tried something like quitting at once. That is not a healthy way of doing it. You will crave even up to the 20th day or a month, then boom you can no longer hold it, you light several cigarettes, I almost died that time my bp surged so high. The best way is using e cigarettes and lowering your nic juices gradually.
From 1 1/2 a day, just lighted 4 sticks today, thats a lot of improvement without stressing myself too much.

Naa just go for it. Once you quit, you're going to lose the levels within a day or so so it doesn't matter how much you smoke. It's all about just not wanting to do it anymore. If you want to smoke it doesn't matter how much you smoke. You will have cravings. I have withdrawal, but have no urge at all to smoke

You need to try vaping, then from there you reduce your nicotine dosage little by little.
First we need to understand how do we get addicted to Nicotine. Its because a real cigarette has no on/off switch, if your nic cravings fall in between 1 and 2 cigarettes, tendency is you will get the doaage of 2 cigarettes and your dosage gets higher and higher as time goes by.
Vape is the most logical method of quitting. You puff until you are satisfied, then gradually decreasing the e juice nic content as days pass by. You will notice something inside your head, you are gradually not craving that much anymore.
If you will plot this in graph, the nic dosage you get from cigarette is actually the reverse progression if you use e cigarettes as long as you lower the nic content of the e juices as time goes by.
Thus you will eventually succeed in quitting as time goes by, maybe in 3 to 6 months time. Quitting at once is not a very healthy thing to do, its just like stopping a Neuro drug at once.

When I have cravings I imagine I am strolling the block and a tornado that is specifically looking for me touches down.
I can get rid of it right away by lightning up a cigarette, or I could take shelter and wait 20 minutes for it to pass on it's own. When the storm clears and I didn't smoke it away I imagine victory horns sounding in the distance. I celebrate inside.
