    As for the ginger you can blend with skin if is soft, also if your blend is good , if not the ginger skin will be flying everywhere in your stew.😄

    I came to Ghana in 2017 and my sister made jollof rice with black eye beans and oh lord it was so good I wonder why people in Ghana don’t make that version often it taste much better than normal jollof rice! Please Kay could you make that and if you have done that already I will check out your videos thanks.

Which way is the new school cos I still make jollof this way this is how my grandma n my mom n sisters make their jollof rice I did not know there are new school ways of making jollof rice. I refuse to make jollof rice the Nigerian way because I simply do not like how their jollof tastes like!

    That meat looks very tough. I always wonder why Nigerians and Ghanaians do their meat like this, dry like jerky.
    Edit: apologies for my ignorance. I now understand it is for the preservation of the meat, in high/humid temperatures with little to no refrigeration.
