That's ridiculous. Cmon man
I've noticed a lot of people just turn into animals when they get restrained, functioning purely on emotion and reaction. They're used to having the upper hand or physical advantage in their relationships and crimes so when someone like a police officer has the ability and power to enforce their will on them then their brain short circuits and goes into fight or flight mode.
EDIT: I feel like this is also why they always try to negotiate to regain some power over the situation: "You guys can take me, just not that cop I don't like them." "I need to use the bathroom then I'll go." "Why are there so many of you? Make some of these officers leave" you see it over and over in these videos. They do not know how to function when they aren't victimizing someone so they make these weak bids for control or power over the situation to try to soothe their mind that's panicking.
Yeah especially a narcissist
Very well said!
Well, ain't that too bad.
Very well said. You're spot on. The only term I disagree with is 'behaving like animals'. I think of people like this as savages or sub-humans. Animals don't behave in this manner.
One of the scariest examples I've witnessed was Letecia Stauch when she tried to escape custody in transit. After hitting one of the guards in the head with a cool drink can, she launched into what is apparently referred to as 'staff splitting' where she accused the one guard of attacking, being rough with , being mean to her. She tried EVERYTHING to try and regain control, saying she would behave, calm down but ONLY if the guard she'd attacked, didn't touch her.
This despite the whole incident being filmed. Terrifying stuff.
Very well said! 💯

This triggered my PTSD to a fairly significant degree because I had a boyfriend many, many years ago who was very talented in the art of mental abuse.
It's more complicated than what many people realize. Naive young adults are very susceptible to the abuser's gradual degradation tactics. It gets worse over time, isn't limited to only mental abuse, and the fear they cause just by being around is increasingly insufferable, literally insufferable. It most commonly happens to females that have no real close family to look out for them and few friends, which is more common than one may realize. They're easy targets to low-life abusers.
You may have a friend who's enduring such a relationship and you might not know it simply because she is too viscerally scared to anger her abuser, considering she gets his anger even without doing anything to earn it.
And while my examples of abuse have been termed with a woman as the victim and a man as the perpetrator, it happens to people of all backgrounds, either gender can be the victim and either can be the perp. Many know this but there needs to be clarification for those that don't.
I understand why the abused stay where they are. It's hard to leap out of the situation without risking a whole lot. But the risk of staying is like a dark monster camouflaged in the deep dark waters of the ocean - it is always there and you don't know when it could surface and attack you, you don't know how bad that attack could be. It is always a notable concern to be taken into consideration that if you choose to stay you are putting yourself into CERTAIN danger.
The best way to make sure you can breathe in a situation like this is to not get yourself into a situation like this in the first place.
He looks a burrito all wrapped up. 😂
He seems pleasant.
What girl wouldn't be jealous of Amy?
