- On July 8th, 2023, officers responded to a battery. The caller advised that an employee who had just been terminated was acting in an agitated manner. She had pushed a chair towards another employee and had battered them. More backup arrived in order to assist the officers. She was soon transported to jail for further processing. One of the officers read her the Miranda rights. The woman was charged with resisting arrest, battery and aggravated battery upon a peace officer.

Let us analyze all this with a cool head. I did not see the reason she was fired for. She forgot her phone and she was denied access to retrieve it. She pushed a chair that accidentally hit another employee, she resisted arrest. That is all the charges (which are petty). She was genuinely concerned to get another job asap. She did not have a police record. All in all it doesn't seem a bad person to me, it is just she does not fit into a working environment that requires low energy, no personality and very little education employees. I am not blaming police which did their job well and I do not blame her (only for resisting arrest but her blood was up already). She should seek another line of work and avoid at all costs fast food venues employment.
