- On July 14th, 2022, officers responded to a domestic dispute. One of the officers knew the juvenile in question from previous encounters. Upon arriving at the location, they tried to contact her, but she was very uncooperative from the beginning. The girl continued to blame her mother for her situation and denied any wrongdoing on her part. The mother told the officers that she didn't want her daughter to stay with her because she had been continuously using drugs. She began crying and denying that she smoked fentanyl. The officers found the drugs that the girl had hidden. Somehow, the girl slipped out of her cuffs and began banging on the car's window. Shortly after, she was transported to jail. She was charged with battery upon a peace officer and resisting arrest.

Now in my adult brain idk what I was thinking, I thought just bc I could handle tantrums and changing ECT that I was ready. It never once occurred that I couldn't work or drive. Thank God he turned out great and I wasn't another statistic and got pregnant again right away. I graduated with honors and now I'm a mom of 3 amazing boys ❤ reference they are 24, 14 and 12 ️

On a serious note though, why she wasn’t charged with drug possession is beyond me. Resisting is a secondary offense, after all, and the battery on a LEO came after her arrest as well. Why wasn’t there the initial charge for what she was ACTUALLY arrested for?!?
Lastly, how did you fail to comprehend that she was indeed charged with resisting arrest?! The end of the video was very clear. Maybe you need reading lessons???

It is obvious that the person making the comment is listing the four charges they thought the woman should be charged with, a drug charge, child endangerment, and then the two actual charges she got. The kids watch these videos and take notes, I used to teach and took spit to the mouth at least a dozen times. Parents defended them every time, this girls behavior is verrrrrry common in schools
They should also include her obituary. She died less than a month after turning 18.
There's also a channel on YT (has Texas in the name), where they interview family members of people who died from Fentanyl . The scary thing is that almost all of them thought they were taking/doing something else. Even pills aren't safe.

My daughter had a drug problem after spending time in India. I went behind my ex-husband and put her in an "in-house" rehab for 30 days. That was 11 years ago. She's a clean, beautiful, respectful, and responsible adult now. I'm very proud of her!

Just because CPS ends the case doesn't mean they cannot reopen it in a heartbeat. multiple times she asked the police officer do you think I'm going to smoke and fentanyl around my child? It's not the CPS workers that takes them that gives them back, it's the judges and other groups that work to keep these deadbeat druggie parents with their kids and it creates a generational cycle of abuse. Because what do you think that baby's going to end up like after growing up in her care and what she'll expose it to? It's the judges, I say this as someone with connections to someone that was over the local CPS in my area, they know these parents like this one won't change and don't stand a chance but it's the judges that keep handing these kids back to these neglectful abusers.
@@appalachianwoman561 oh believe me I know. I've been through the exact same scenario with my baby mama. I got temporary custody of my daughters and their mother disappeared for 2 years on drugs. She shows up clean one day out of the blue, the guardian ad litem and the judge decided it was time for her to have visitation after all that. I ended up getting full custody of my daughters because I got a REAL lawyer. Their mother ended up back on drugs again, had two more kids by two different men and then those kids also got taken. The state gave the kids back to her after messing up four times with her other children!!!

I had a HS friend get pregnant around 16, but she kept the child and is doing incredibly well and getting her masters degree currently. It’s all about the choices you make.

I’m over twice this girl’s age, I have a great career, own a house, never been arrested, don’t do drugs, rarely drink, and I worry that I’m not ready to have kids. But people like her have no concern at all about raising children

I hate that CPS/DFACS gives unfit parents so many chances. Babies shouldn't have to live in this chaos for years. In and out of different homes, different custody arrangements. Never knowing security. Sadly it usually takes the babies or young children getting seriously hurt or killed before they can step in but this insecurity scars a child for life and another drug addicted criminal is created as they try to numb a pain and fear that they don't know exists.
Yup, kids got a bright future dealing with that.
