- On January 4th, 2024, while on patrol, an officer detected the smell of an intoxicant emanating from a parking lot. To verify her suspicion, she circled back through the area and confirmed that someone was indeed smoking an intoxicant. Consequently, she approached the driver of a nearby car for further investigation. The driver stepped out of the vehicle, but he was not at all ready to cooperate and continued to escalate the situation. Soon, the man began to resist aggressively. He continued to argue and defend his position. The man was charged with resisting arrest and possession of controlled substances.

Before weed was legal in California, a friend and I got pulled over, and when we rolled the windows down, the smoke hit the cops right in the face. We didn’t freak out we complied we didn’t resist. They tore our car apart, scolded us, and let us go. These people should’ve relaxed.
