I'm a manager at a dollar store, and an elderly woman came in on her phone asking to buy some Amazon cards. Thanks to your videos I asked her some questions, and I immediately knew what was up and we were able to prevent her from being scammed. The poor old lady was nearly in tears because this wasn't the first time this had happened, and after I explained how these scammers work and how they can seem to be very legitimate, (again, thanks to your videos) she now knows not to fall for this type of thing in the future. It's so ridiculous and evil that they get offended when they get scammed back. They look down on Kitboga & Rinoa but they're actual frauds preying on elderly people. The ridiculous righteous indignation is so cringe.
I cannot thank you enough for doing this. My dad just got scammed this past week, he lost EVERYTHING. This is life changing, it’s so terrible. My father is a Vietnam Vet, he worked HARD his whole life, lost my mom to cancer going on 3 years ago…and now, this. This is absolutely devastating. Thank you for all you do to get those effers back!
That is indeed heartbreaking, I'm sorry to hear it! Unfortunately any of us can fall for a scam, especially at vulnerable points such as during grieving, so it makes it particularly heinous that scammers know to target people who are going through something difficult.
There's nothing more validating to your cause than the fact that you've reached enough mass to actually be recognizable by them. They literally have to be on the lookout for people like you, BECAUSE of you. That's a win in and of itself.
If a scammer calls, say you're "perogie" after messing with them for a bit, and say that you're in their system. Ask if they like your new voice changer, and say that everyone they've called in the last hour is and will continue to be you. They panic at his name. Kitboga is mostly annoying, but perogie destroys their systems!
@@runed0s86 Yes! I have literally said his name once and they hung up and blocked my number 😂 It was my bad since I love wasting their time as much as possible. So I no longer say his name. Same with #1 Russian hacker. They don't want their systems destroyed or erased. But Kit does great work. He wastes their time and helps get accounts deleted and stresses them out to the point where they are angry and rude to everyone afterwards, which helps people realize it is a scam.
I'm actually wondering if this kind of trick would be taken into court as an evidence to literally jail the scammers. I mean, the person who said and acted that he was calling the police to arrest "kitborg" is an act of threat right? Isn't that a bigger criminal offense?
My favorite thing about Kitboga's videos, as someone who's worked call-center jobs, is how he presents the scammers with super basic call-center situations and they completely crumble. "Senior not sure whether a form is asking for their cellphone number or landline number" or "old lady sidebars to tell a random personal story" are things real call-center agents encounter every day, and they manage to not start screaming and shitting instantly
scam call centres are expecting their customers to be gullible and to just do whatever they say, so as soon as it diverges from that they have no idea what to do.
As someone who worked callcenters for basically decades, you learn real quick how to handle basically any situation. When in doubt, escalate it up the chain.
Always good to see. It means mostly calls rarely work so everytime it Works its something special. The other reason is simply a really high Potential Cash price.
my grandma got scammed last year for 10k. they told her that her nextdoor neighbor (who is also her best friend since high school) was about to lose her house and she could contribute to prevent that. shes an older boomer with no clue in the world even when we have tried to warn her on this. it was very hard to see happen. these videos are basically therapy. thank you for doing this.

Nick Olivas, Shane Seyer, Nathanial J. Do research and throw that bullcrap opinion of your in the gutter where it belongs.
I love how rude those scammers are. They are lying, scamming and robbing vulnerable people but don’t have the self control to not be rude and unpleasant.
its the type of people the profession attracts. if you have the lack of empathy to exploit the vulnerable, you're already a piece of crap... the vulnerable are easy targets and easy punching bags. when things go wrong, its their job to gaslight you and make you feel bad, scared and threatened so you comply with the scam. truly morally bankrupt people
I love how the scammers’ meltdowns are a manifestation of their personal demons… words that have been directly weighing on their own minds, about their own life decisions.
The first red flag any person should notice whenever they go through this, is the moment they get irate with you. Not even legit collections agencies are allowed to intimidate or strong arm you without potential legal consequences. So if someone is trying to get loud or terse, the conversation stops right there.
Collectors are rude all the time. I know people that would be insulted by them along the lines of "What's the matter? You're too broke to make a payment?" et cetera.

I was born in '92, and my dad made a point of always having a fairly powerful family desktop that we all shared while I was growing up, and even besides that, the only way to use a word processor was the desktop computers in the library, so years of experience using Windows "normally" taught me (and others) what's "normal" and what's "abnormal", and with the exception of those learning to be Remote IT Technicians, it is _definitely_ not normal (or okay) at any point for someone else to be controlling your computer.

He's done it a number of times in some form or another. Like anything that jams up the scam enough, it might make them conclude they're talking to a scambaiter and/or give up. If not, then the scammer might either try to lean harder into how they'll lose their job or pivot to threats; either nonsensically saying they'll 'take all the money from your account', or that they'll send cops to arrest them.
He's done that a bunch if you scroll back through the channel. Most of the time it ends up with them fake crying on the phone and talking about how they'll get fired and their children will starve. If you keep insisting on keeping it, eventually they just start yelling. Mostly just accelerates the call to the last 30-40 min

Here is a scenario that you might consider. You heard that your friends were getting refunds but they were sent too much because they entered too much. I give kit lots of props for being able to improv. I was scared how the call was gonna go and what "information" they had on me. I tried calling the number back and it said it was disconnected. Thank you so much for what you do kit 💕
I got the Federal Reserve guys myself once... and I was *EVIL* with them. I'd come up with something just before last Thanksgiving that would freak them out... wanna know what it was?
I just answer and speak Russian. Thanks STALKER games!
Perhaps ask your service provider to activate "Call Screening", ethically it should be free, if they charge,
consider a "Call Screening" handset for your landline.
Cell phone, block anon calls (you will need to temporarily change this if you are expecting a call from a Doctor, or Hospital).
@@OramiIT next stalker will be in Ukrainian, happy learning, mate :D However, is it seems more brutal, in fact Ukrainians kicking out russians, with your support, sure ;)
I got one of those Visa-Mastercard scams. Led the dude on for a while before just going "Oh yeah, I don't have one." He went off on a tangent about why I would waste his time if I didn't have a card, why would I even call back. And when I called back, why would I stay on the phone after it was made clear this was for Visa-Mastercard customers if I wasn't one. When I started laughing, he completely lost his shit. Threw around some words about me being a "toilet water drinking n-word" and other things involving toilets and heavy racism until his headset fell off. Apparently, the full breakdown was bad enough they felt the need to call me and try and guilt me for ruining other people's ability to get scammed (Or, in their words, get their rewards). I've had some fun moments since then, but that one remains my most prized scam call.
these scammers are horrible... we can laugh about it, but imagine the elderly people who go through a shock because they put so much pressure
Very true
Love what you do. Every second you waste of their time is saving someone. Truly appreciate it.
Your $5 means nothing. He didn't even bother replying. He's already made thousands in youtube revenue from this one video.

14:09 i never imagined i'd one day see an email to a medical professional beginning with "dr turner, i don't want turtle eyes"
kit's world building skills must be envied by even the most prolific fantasy writer
I've seen a lots of the scammers in Kit's videos try to call his bluff by saying he's a RUclipsr, but I actually got nervous when they (almost) guessed exactly who he was this time O.O I hope they don't spread the word too far so that Kit can continue doing his good deeds!
I don't think there is a way for them to instantly tell it's him
It doesn't matter how much they spread the word. They all know who Kit and some of the other scam baiters are at this point. They still get baited despite this.
They know who he is. They just don't know when they are going to end up calling him and have there time wasted.
They're on the lookout for Kit Borg
this would imply any of them are even remotely intelligent
Here is a scenario that you might consider. You heard that your friends were getting refunds but they were sent too much because they entered too much. You need $499,999.00 for buying your grand kid a house for their wedding. So you enter in even more numbers on purpose so that you could get their money so you can buy that house. Hoping to scam them out of their refund money.
Thank you for your consideration.
🙃
I'm not sure if Kit was the one who tried that, but I've seen it done at some point. Basically the scammer pretended like he could fix the problem with the large amount and undid or blocked the transaction. When the next attempt went through with the correct scam amount, the scammer said he couldn't fix the transfer again for whatever BS reason he came up with. And thus the scam continued as per normal.
tirsden Sauce?
Yeah do this one Kit
@@tirsden my guess is “oh no, anything over (say, 50k) is blocked because no one would refund that” which still allowed eg a 500 to become a 5k under the made up rules
Just once I want you to celebrate when they “give” you too much money by accident and then refuse to return it under any circumstances lol
I think he's done that in earlier videos
He's done that a number of times.
Look up the vid where 'Edna' bought a disability scooter from Amazon, or the one with the hotdogs.🙂
That's what I would do.
One where Kit blatantly says he's not giving the money back and is keeping it pretending to be a greedy granny would be hilarious
I feel horrible for the old folks that fall for this stuff, but oh man. I can't believe how soulless these scammers are. Please keep up the good work. Bring them all down!
Warms my cold heart to see these scammers get what they deserve. Always love their little comebacks "you wasted my time" like they're actually a legitimate business doing legal/honest things.
Dude, you're a fucking legend. I waste their time too but it's only for a few minutes. What you do is epic!
I wonder if it would be possible with modern AI technology (like ChatGPT trained with data from channels like KitBoga) to keep the scammers busy fully automated 24/7.
I think this would be a quite nice scientific project for some students. Maybe sponsored by some telcos that give out some thousand unused random phone numbers.
@@christianwww Turing test powered by scam call centers

@@christianwww Man that would actually be really interesting! Would love to see something like that

It's amazing they insult you because you are "wasting their time". What would they be otherwise doing? Oh that's right, scamming innocent old people for thousands of dollars.
I wonder which is worse.
It’s so sad that, even if Kit is doing such an amazing work by wasting these ppl’s time, there are still other elders that are actually getting scammed :(((
I live for this right here @16:48 they are 100% genuinely mad that they got scammed, that Kit wasted their times for hours and hours AND I LOVE IT.. just amazing they are out ripping people off and act like they are the victims.
Imagine living in a city of filth robbing a city full of gold wearing ingrates!
In a sense what they are doing is alright to them.
We are like the ones who walk away from omolon except in reverse.
Billions suffer in order for so few to live excessively
I didn't quite get how they got scammed tho. I thought they just sent the money to the wrong person
@@oniichandame48They receive the gift cards and redeem them to themselves.
I like how their rage involves things like, "you think you are smart?" when these people will likely never have any real skills in anything in their entire lives. And they know that. And that's why they're so mad.
"You wasted my time, you wasted my time!" as he's looking for the victims..
“You’re not going to get anything out of this!”
He gets our attention and gives us joy, that’s a lot to be honest
Kit also get compensated by youtube for creating videos with millions of views :). It is a real job!
Um, he also gets thousands of dollars in youtube money.
Exactly!;
Not to mention the satisfaction of fucking with scammers and making them loose hair from his antics XD
The thing I find strange about these videos at this point is that a lot of these scammers both know who he is, and probably are subscribed to him. Let that sink in
These people are psychopaths. You’re doing good work messing with these greedy people. They’ll never stop.
13:20 "Officer this woman just bought gift cards it's suspicious arrest her immediately!" Their Karen roleplay is perfect.
No, he wants her "put under inwestigation"
This is just pure comedy. The guy really pretended to call the police. 10/10 for the performance 😂😂😂
A colleagues elderly client lost everything... her retirement account and even sold her house believing one of these guys was her boyfriend. Shut them down!
Wtf???? Why tf did she sold her house believing he was her boyfriend
Where’s her family? Why aren’t they watching out for her?
@@Simba______ Often times the romance scammers' second step after "love bombing" is to isolate victims from their family in various ways.
I never understand how a person can be senile enough to fall for these scams, but somehow still have the cognition needed to actually follow the scammers overly complicated and convoluted instructions.
Feuchter Willy It happens a lot. Her kids and my colleague warned her. To this day, she calls him her bf. He still speaks to her even though she has nothing left to give him, which she thinks proves her children wrong. A scammer wouldn't still be a friend. Parents don't often listen to children. Brainwashing goes deep (they didn't name 'tell-a-vision" and 'programming' arbitrarily). 🤔 We are all susceptible.

The seamless way you wreak havoc and create utter chaos with these guys with your off the wall conversations is truly awesome to listen to.
This was so cathartic! I work for Wal-Mart Customer service in the gift card department. I have handled thousands of these fraud cases. I've also messed with some of them like yourself, but I haven't got the computer skills to make a fake server (my cousin does, as he works for Wells Fargo and their security code department).
It's nice to see them get upset.
So nice that the store where she bought the gift cards called up to help. That's customer service, right there.
Thank you for doing what you do. I was having a rough day and this video helped me feel better 😊❤️

being able to make money doing this on youtube must be an amazing job (or hobby). you're truly making a positive contribution to the world, getting a lot of enjoyment out of it, and making money at the same time. Must be super satisfying.
I actually work a customer service line and tbh that makes these videos twice as funny. Trying to explain what cookies are, or that when you type your email you have to include the @ symbol is an exercise in frustration. So glad that at least some scammers get to suffer through that.
yummines Sounds like you're in the wrong job.
I literally lol'd at "Ohhhh, are you calling back about your Halloween decorations..." OMFG This is the most amazing thing I've seen in a while!

It always blows my mind how sincerely bothered and angry they from people not complying with their scam routine, even outside of their script they just take things so personal and get so emotional, it's amazing how they think this is how CSR's are supposed to conduct themselves, they've been doing it long enough and still can't do more research on how to conduct themselves on a call as a assistant to a customer.
Yeah. They take way too long to hang up on me to be a real call center. Unlike the real centers though I can't get a refund by complaining to the FCC about it.
Reminds me of “nice guys” when girls tell them they already have a boyfriend and aren’t interested. Rather than taking the L and moving on, they proceed to call her every name in the book.
I think they now vulnerable people will tends to comply if they are stressed and berated, so they trying to prevent them from taking the time to think about all the things going wrong
