I worked in a call centre and I had an Indian colleague. She was the sweetest lady ever. Customers were so rude to her. (We were contracted for our local government.) They didn't believe she was in Australia. One time I got pissed off and took over the call. The customer backed the hell up when he heard my true blue Australian accent. Scammers make it so hard for genuine Indian folks to work in call centres.
This is horrible but I admit.. I don't know of any legit non emergency or non government call center.... If anyone calls trying to sell xyz I just hang up.
@@blaise6258 I worked as a subcontractor for my government in a call centre. Governments now seem to be outsourcing work to private companies. Some people were suspicious of us, and I don't blame them.
No kidding. I use to work at a call center taking calls for Geek Squad Tech Support. Once we had a bunch of international students from India work there for a couple of months for a program that was going on in their college. They had sup calls multiple times daily. I felt bad for them, they were such friendly people.
I literally cannot blame them for being rude unless they went far into misogynistic abuse or something like that. Regular rudeness I would expect because this has gone too far. Whoever your employer was shouldn't have hired her. That's on them.
What i found funny is that despite him realizing you were "a fellow hacker" and trying to help you out, he still pulled the "im working at microsoft" That killed me 😂
The first guy was saying "i'm your dad" whichin hindi contextually means hes been doing this way longer than u, basically admitted that he was a scammer loool
It's even better because it demonstrates they don't even really get the goal of something like this, they apparently think it's about "tricking" the person on the other end but obviously the whole point is just to waste their time so they can't be scamming more people. It's impossible for them to reverse the situation though, since if they try to adopt the role of the one tricking the scammer then they're still just wasting their own time, which is still a victory for us.
This is almost like a scamception 😂 I genuinely can’t tell if... - They realised what this *actually* was from the start, and just decided to waste Kit’s time and attempt to troll him back (which is honestly a win anyway, as they’re wasting their own time); - They thought Kit was another scammer, and were trying to waste that other scammer’s time, and/or gather intel on their practices; - They genuinely believed what Kit said, and thus fell into their own trap I’m so confused 😂😂 In any case, brilliant work, Kit!
I feel like the last guy kinda knew what was going on, or at least figured it out halfway. He even said it was going on kitboga in a roundabout way 😂possibly because he was afraid if he made it too obvious he knew, it wouldn't make the cut. Maybe I'm giving him too much credit 😂
People are giving them too much credit. I promise you they’re just thinking “I’m gonna be famous on RUclips 😍” Most of them are paid a salary for meeting a quota, not directly by each scam, so for the most part their day to day jobs are just as tedious and unfulfilling as ours, and in cases like this a lot of them are just happy for something that breaks the monotony of scamming innocent people 12 hours a day for $300 a month or whatever.

@@alb1reo Well I think that he was trying to scare Kit (pretending to be the scammer). While Kit normally plays around with scammers, wastes their time and trolls them, Jim pretty much just scares the shit out of them by finding out where exacly they are, their real names, and sometimes what they look like. Imagine you're the scammer in a different country, you get a call from a potential victim, and a few minutes in, he accuses you to be a scammer, tells you your real name...and where you are. The only things distinguishing these people from say, a broker on the NYSE or a Hedge Fund Portfolio manager, are the proverbial suit, the lettering of the "law" behind them, and their overall success rates in terms of parting people from their money and the wide margins between the two groups.

I think its probably fun for them! A surprise that someone plays their game
The *role, it's not rolling.
I'm sure some of them don't have any other options, India is very populated
It's even better because it demonstrates they don't even really get the goal of something like this, they apparently think it's about "tricking" the person on the other end but obviously the whole point is just to waste their time so they can't be scamming more people. It's impossible for them to reverse the situation though, since if they try to adopt the role of the one tricking the scammer then they're still just wasting their own time, which is still a victory for us.
He caught on and figured out who you were and pretended to be you. That was pretty funny.
That's fame, man.
The last line from the scammer being "This is Kitboga, bitch" is just **chefs kiss** poetic

Ironic, since it almost sounded like the scammer was paying a tribute to Kitboga, not the other way around.
Now they both swapped their scripts
It was like the twilight zone there at the end. 🤣
"Don't forget to take chances and make messes, cause you matter!" Dude, dope life advice right there! Thanks Kit!~
This is almost like a scamception 😂 I genuinely can’t tell if...
- They realised what this *actually* was from the start, and just decided to waste Kit’s time and attempt to troll him back (which is honestly a win anyway, as they’re wasting their own time);
- They thought Kit was another scammer, and were trying to waste that other scammer’s time, and/or gather intel on their practices;
- They genuinely believed what Kit said, and thus fell into their own trap
I’m so confused 😂😂 In any case, brilliant work, Kit!
I feel like the last guy kinda knew what was going on, or at least figured it out halfway. He even said it was going on kitboga in a roundabout way 😂possibly because he was afraid if he made it too obvious he knew, it wouldn't make the cut. Maybe I'm giving him too much credit 😂
The last dude was like we peaked into an alternate universe
I think that they were trying to gather intel.
People are giving them too much credit. I promise you they’re just thinking “I’m gonna be famous on RUclips 😍”
Most of them are paid a salary for meeting a quota, not directly by each scam, so for the most part their day to day jobs are just as tedious and unfulfilling as ours, and in cases like this a lot of them are just happy for something that breaks the monotony of scamming innocent people 12 hours a day for $300 a month or whatever.
I think it's mostly option 2. Seeing how Kit would get around common problems they have
I love how he is pretending to be a scammer and then the scammers pretends to be youtubers xD

Confront the system around them next, where these scam call centers are large employers next to legit ones and you have the Multilevel Marketing of America with an Indian twist, which at least focuses the target away from their neighbors and nation, unlike MLMs.
We have to dismantle the conditions in the society around them and frankly, ourselves, that rewards the sociopathic pursuit of profit at the cost of everyone.
The only things distinguishing these people from say, a broker on the NYSE or a Hedge Fund Portfolio manager, are the proverbial suit, the lettering of the "law" behind them, and their overall success rates in terms of parting people from their money and the wide margins between the two groups.
I mean did we even watch Wolf of Wall Street? Dude straight up fast talks a guy into buying a failing stock to boost profits in the short term and is rewarded for it. He and many up there still live with that mindset.
