Nothing like a good old fake redeem to confuse scammers. It's funny and satisfying to think of their sense of frustration after believing that they were so close to actually getting some money. Great video Kit!
The one thing you'll ALWAYS find with scammers is they are confident as they are arrogant. They are so arrogantly confident they will take your money, and outsmart you, that it shocks, hurts and humiliates them when they cant fool you. Ive lived in Egypt for several years and see this almost every day (i shit you not). Im a 37 year old British white guy and that to an Egyptian screams MONEY MONEY MONEY, so im always on their hitlist for things. They will try to sell me a shitty sofa, for example, for 20,000 Egyptian pounds (about 1,200 USD). They do this because they think they can just scam me, and that im not smart enough to see their scam, and that i can probably afford it, also that i might well have just landed a week ago, bought a new house, and i dont know the prices. I mean no tourist ever buys houses and goes home do they?. Scammers wil always have that "i'm smarter than you" personality about them. We often see them on Scammer paybacks channel when the engineers shout "i am level 20 engineer, i will hack your computer, and destroy your system". And when they are out done with that, they will start with the personal insults and fly into a narcissistic rage. "I WILL FK YOUR MOTHER!!!! MWAAAAHHHHH". That fact that Raj gavindankuthi here couldnt fool an old AND lost "his money" just humiliates him even more. Its pure gold to watch!
Feels like a bit much for me personally. Some great little bits but far too many animations imo. Idk, I’m just a curmudgeon who doesn’t like change I guess
Really? I came here to ask to chill out a little with the animations. Like some of it is great, but just having pictures flashing all over the place instead of words and spinning low quality jpgs just makes me feel a bit over stimulated. I prefer the older videos when i would just focus on Kitbogas face and his expressions and the clever use of back drop switching. I feel that is a much more interesting route to keep expanding on. Not that this editor is doing a bad job, but its just too much for me
I’m always a little confused why every single scammer will get so angry at the slightest inconvenience; is it part of the scare tactic, do they really just not give a shit, or is the job particularly stressful in a way that brings out their frustrations on the victims?
Unfortunately, the angry approach works on some victims. The stream of abuse can shut down a vulnerable person's critical thinking skills and cause them to give in to the threats.
All three in a way. It's a scare tactic that works especially on the elderly, they don't care cuz they do calls like this for 12 hours straight every day in a sweaty office, and the job is usually stressful since if they don't make any scams, they don't get paid.
Sadly a lot of them are human trafficked and forced to work as scammers against their will. Many of these call centers are run by the mafia in SE Asia and trick people there with fake interviews and force them to work as scammers.
In addition to the already stated reasons, Kitboga intentionally tries to get on their nerves and usually leads them on for hours or even days, which makes them even angrier.
Some are victims of human trafficking. Often lured by a promise of a IT job, they are kidnapped and forced to scam people by organized crime. Particularly in Burma/Myanmar.
Imagine calling the customer support for a multi-billion dollar corporation and them immediately knowing who you are and whether or not it was you who made the purchase or the hackers.
I am sure Amazon could do it. Simply pull your account phone number from the caller id. Then if you had an open case go into it. They don't do it,but they could.
@@MrAustanian it depends, your number has to be linked to your account and there are protocols that needs to be followed, namely verification needed from your actual account is needed if it's related to financial issues but for general queries not needed.
Just realised I commented on a 2 year old comment wow. To answer OPs questions, it is possible but different departments will handle different flows, what you're talking about would be either handled by the Fraud Investigation team from Amazon side and after confirmation with details from you will proceed to continue the case with your bank in case of fraudulent purchase or the like.

It's hilarious how mad they get when they are the ones trying to trick you
The one thing you'll ALWAYS find with scammers is they are confident as they are arrogant.

For real. The subtitles and pictures are punchy and funny. It definitely helps the watching with extra chuckles along the way.

Yes, Kibota should send the editor some Google gift cards.
Not that this editor is doing a bad job, but its just too much for me
the fact that the scammer would say "CVS is our financial partner" is one i have never heard before lol
And make sure you don’t mention us 😂😂
If you're going to lie, might as well tell a whopper lol
Why is CVS partnered with scammers?! It's outrageous how they don't check their business partners.
@Ruth Trentwood Obviously they're not actually partnered with them, the scammers are just liars.
@@ruthtrentwood3374 they're partners with CVS just as we're partners with venmo lol

It's kind of funny how scammers rely on old people being unaware, and yet they get irritated when old people are unaware.
Imagine how much money these scammers would make if they put this much energy and effort into a normal job
You gotta wonder though... these scams are so common that these people probably see them as a "normal job" or maybe even like a white collar job.
