Z50 has the lens still as advantage. You seem to forget that with an adapter, you can use all the f mount lenses Nikon ever made. Telling you this by experience. Borrowed a Nikon z50 for one of my shoot as I forgot to charge my D7500. Used the adapter and my 1960's lense and it worked just fine.
"with an adapter"
Lost me there.
@@OLuvin Nikon f mount to z mount adapter. Nikon been using the same mount since the 50's so they have more lenses if you include the legacy lenses.
I bought the 90D after seeing your review of it. Would you put the 90D over these cameras or would you go with one of these instead. I really like the no record limit in the Sony. I hate that the Sony has a micro HDMI and no fully articulating screen.
That’s a tough one, if you don’t mind the slightly bigger body and the EF lenses I’d probably go with the 90d 👍
Just purchased a z50 I love this thing
Whats the battery like
How are we going to have a conversation about APS-C cameras without talking about Fujifilm?
Because Fuji cameras are technically inferior.
You can use all the Z mount lenses with the Z50.
There are aftermarket brackets that will allow you to mount the z50 to a tripod with the screen down.
All are good for you as per your reviews. You should DECIDE which one is BETTER.
1:19 oh wow, that's a big mount
Great video, as always, but PLEASE, desaturate the reds a bit next time, it is painful to watch. :)
Just ordered an a6600. Thanks for the review.
After 8 months and the new lenses... what do you think now?
I know you’re into video however, would the Sony a 6600 be good to do Astro photography?
For astro photography look into the pentax kp.
Yeah Pentax seems to be the best for Astro Photography!
nikon is better...i tried
I can have Nikon Z50 with two lenses for commercial shooting for promo video for company, do you guys recommend using that Nikon in those conditions or rent something else? Thank you
Was this filmed with the s1h? The red from the Ohio state shirt is really weird.
No it was on the GH5
The Z30 is even better for this use case, an outstanding camera.
Also, whether its a flip up or flip down, it doesn't matter. That's not what consumer goddamn want. We want a fully articulating flip out touch screen. Why won't they lets us have it, precious?
Why is it I can only find that XLR Adapter in a kit with a shotgun microphone, for like, stupid expensive? Neither BHPhoto or amazon have it sold by itself
So is the a64 65 66 best vlogging cam right out box without buying additional lenses etc?
@@Dstinct I do have intentions I just don't wanna break the bank on a camera then turns out have to buy lens to get a clearer shot. I like the fact on a64 you can look at yourself while recording
Screen flips down?! Behind the tripod? Ha hahahaha!
You should totally shoot still as well. Your channel would grow even bigger then too :)
I want to use it for macro photography. Which one is the better choice from this two model please?
Z50
Hello Sahil can you tell which camera is better in terms of value for money if I have to do one time investment between Sony a6400 vs Sony a6600.
Flipkart price for a6400 is 102490 Rs for 18-135mm lens and price of a6600 with lens is 135000 Rs.
Sony a6600 has additional IBIS features + better battery life but doesn't have inbuilt Flash light. So considering IBIS features does Sony a6400 with gimbal will be better option than sony a6600 or not?
What do you think which one is better? Sony a6400 with Gimbal or sony a6600?
Your timely reply will help me to buy camera as Flipkart sale is ON. 24th January is the last date. Eagerly awaiting for your reply.
@Coo Koo sony a6400
@Coo Koo because I had seen more reviews of sony a6400.
I haven't seen the review of Fuji camera so I can't tell much. But I can tell you some merit and demerits of sony a6400.
@Coo Koo Merits: it has very good auto focus points.
Demerits:1) Very low Battery backup.
2) Camera Grip not so good.
3) Camera lenses prices are higher than canon and Nikon.
4) No IBIS features in the body.
What do you use for a color-calibrated monitor/display for your editing?
I havent color calibrated it but I use my iMacs 5k display.
Z50 for real estate/architecture/interior videography? Recommended? Would use the 20mm 1.8 s line once released.
The Nikon dx 10-20 is good, maybe that with the ftz
Compare now when nikon got new firmware ;)
Thanks again, you hit the button. For history's sake could you keep us up to date on the "fake" drones. Your reviews were the most helpful of all. Ta. Pete on the Isle of Wight.
Nikon z50 it is
The A6600 is clearly sharper. Did you use the kit lens for both cameras?
love the channel 📸
'Small cameras like these' are also more and more expensive?
Hii can you suggest a few lens for nikon z50 🤗🤗
Why do u hate lens adapter? AF lenses performs flawlessly with the FTZ adapter after the FW 2.02 upgrade!
Great video! Can you do the fuji xt200?
Yeah I might get my hands on one of those 👍
That camera seems to be one of the first to start bringing in computational photography, you know it’s coming. One day full frame cameras will have a iPhone computers on board and post work will be only for us old folks.
@@ScottsReviews computonal photography don't need full frame sensor to shine. That's why I won't invest in such a pricey system
I live in Michigan, not the biggest fan of the shirt.... However I went to Michigan State so we both hate the team from Ann Arbor. 👍
Shared antagonists bring people together 😁👍
😬
@@venom5809 of course you all realize that those of us who are Hawkeyes RULE.
Verdict 12:46.
id love to buy z50 nikon, but yeah, the lens list is not there yet compared to a6600.. The sigma trinity e mount lenses, 16,30 and the 56mm 1.4 are beast together with the a6600. if theres available sigma lenses to z50,no doubt to buy the z50.
great content!
Thanks!
The Short answer is yes the Nikon blows the doors off the Sony.
Use the adapter and use any F mount lens. Then you have way more lenses than Sony. Try some of the Tamron Lenses and you will produce better video than out of the Sony and have no difference in autofocus. I bought 6 Z 50s and I love the setup. Not one has the kit lenses on it.
0:38 is this the effect of rolling shutter or for transition? Was this shot on a Sony camera?
No, it wasn't. He uses a Panasonic GH5 to record all of his videos (it's his favorite video camera). What you're seeing is just an effect of the transition.
Please help me with my choosing 🙏🙏..i shoot portrait & wedding generally now I'm stuck deciding to buy sony A6400 with sony FE 85mm F/ 1.8 lens !!or Nikon Z50 camera with Nikkor Z 85mm F/1.8 S?!!!!! And Are these 2 lenses working great with A6400& Z50 as well as sony A7III & Nikon Z6 ..???
Thanks for answering
Z50 with 50 or 35
85 is only good on FF
I do weddings with a 35 and a 50 on APS-C
So you prefer sony or nikon or canon for better image quality with APSC senser?
I dont like Sony's 1080P .. Nikon and canon are better in FHD
Z50 looks way better
I like the z50 I’ll deal with an adapter it’s a better camera for photos no?
They always will because they don't have to use software for depth of field and you get more flexibility with focal lengths, not to mention you can have your images sync to your phone after you take them to share.
@@MB-dq2gz Sony syncs to your phone too
And with a tiny Techart's adapter Z50 can use Sony lenses.
Can you compare the iPhone 11 pro vs note 10 plus?
Review the Fuji XT-200 as soon as it is released! If the specs are actually what they are, it would be something that I can consider as a logical successor to the G85. I mean 24mp APS-C / 1080p120/ 4k30/mic + headphone jack/a better form of EIS/425 points PDAF + eye AF in video plus the awesome Fuji colors! 800usd with kit lens!
You and your 30 fps, you always trying to stir up trouble 😊.
Is the Panasonic LUMIX g85 still worth buying in 2020
Yeah I think so 👍
you get what you pay for, with the 500 dollar deference, the A6600 has to show more feature as expected
You think the Z50 video especially with a non cropped 4k is good enough for light commercial work? Aka to get people to pay you for videos?
I have z6 and I need a another camera for video please tell me right decision z50 or sony
Why not keep the z6? After the firmware update its amazing for video and autofocus I heard
Z50's ergonomics and colors are the only 2 things I see where it beats the a6600.
Both ergonomics and colors are much improved for the newer apsc sony cameras though.. especially 6600 had much better grip.. Also colors, when u pair a6400/a6600 with any of the Sigma primes or the new Sony 16-55, the colors are FANTASTIC
@@kapapa3764 During the holidays the pricing was much better! Yes its expensive but the 16-55 is amazing (and Sigma 16/30/56 1.4 primes alternatively, are much cheaper and AMAZING some of the best glass u can get on any apsc camera)
Nikon Z50 has much better image quality than Sony. Both are very good for recording videos. But the image of the Nikon Z50 is sharper and with higher contrast. Sony has better autofocus and higher availability of lenses.
But overall, in image quality the Z50 is clearly superior.
Sony has a lot of marketing and its products are overrated by people.
At 11:10 I find that footage way too shaky for a camera that has IBIS + Lens VR, but maybe that's just me.
Luide Mulumba no i think it’s also strange but I mean it isn’t like it has the price of a sony a74
@@tianmoezelaar5689 so they'd be better off leaving it out entirely and reducing the overall cost 🤔 I like the Z50's lens stabilization
