    Quick points:
    1. Be in a caloric deficit.
    2. Ab workouts every morning before you start the day.
    3. Practice sucking in your gut.
    4. Don’t eat sugar and bad carbs. Don’t binge or over eat.
    5. If you are starting out in the gym, don’t over do it. Steady pace.
    6. Don’t expect instant results, can take months to get results.

@@jonahlevi3178 except intermittant fasting does NOT produce more fat loss than frequent meals when calories are the same. Total protein synthesis is superior on multiple protein feedings (duh).

It’s all calorie deficit while working all body parts to prevent imbalances. Once you’re at 12% bodyfat or lower it’s highly unlikely that you’ll have much stomach fat.

    • @ForgottenKnight1

      6. This point is irrelevant, the idea is to modify your life style permanently. Remember, you are not on a diet. A diet has a start and a finish date. You are modifying your lifestyle, which you enact every day.

I love the story Gabriel Iglesias tells about Arnie. He encourages everyone to be their best. A little encouragement can be the thing that changes a persons mind set.
A woman I worked with looked at me one day and said, "you lost weight. Are you working out?" I had been trying to eat better. My brain cued in on," even a few healthy meals made a difference. Let's see what happens if I just keep going with it?" I ended up loosing 50 lb. If a co-worker could make that much difference, imagine what a little encouragement from Arnold would do?

Didn’t get covid once and was around people who had it. So yes I care so much about my health I take cold showers everyday. Do you care about yours to do that. Ooh no you will just take a shot they just pulled out of no where and will do exactly what they say. My dad and roommate took the vaccine and since then have had a really bad cough. So just because I use logic and facts doesn’t make me soft. It’s not as hard as it sounds but you shouldn’t start with 200 if you can’t. Push to 50 for a couple of weeks then to 75 then to 100. You’ll notice your stomach giving away and making it easier to let you push for more.

@Hawaii Hustler Most people won't destroy their muscles to the point of needing 2 days of rest when you're doing crunches, sit ups, leg raises, twists and especially a plank. You can plank every single day for 2 minutes (not that long), it's just a good thing to do to build your core.
As for cardio and weightlifting, if you're doing cardio then that's ok every day since it gets your heart rate up. But weights, if you're constantly pushing to failure then the 2 day wait is good; what I do is break up upper body, arms and legs into the first 3 days of the week and I'm constantly pushing for more weight, then on Thursday I come back and do upper body (since I'm working on my pecs more than anything) and rest Friday-Sunday.
Combine all of that with a good diet and you should be golden. I'm 30 btw, so my metabolism started dropping 5 years ago, but I'm still down a little over 90 pounds in the past year. A good regimen really works.

I see so many people walking around hunched over, hinged forward at the hip or with shoulders rounded forward and their heads stuck way out in front of the shoulders. (And they walk looking down at their feet all the time!) Being well aligned is so essential to wellbeing. Arnold really knows his stuff!

This is how I lost 27 pounds and gained muscle in three months I swear guys it works:
-Stay on a slight caloric deficit (Eat well, healthy and DIVERSIFIED but stay on a caloric deficit).
-Eat a lot and I mean A LOT of proteins.
-Limit carbs (don't cut them off completely watch out!)
    -ABSOLUTELY DON'T cut healthy fats!
Do as much cardio as you can it is primordial if you want to loose fat if you skip it or limit it you won't loose it quickly (When you'll reach your goal then you can limit it).
-Do twice as much weight lifting as you do cardio and lift heavy.
-Do 4/20 or minimum 6/18 intermittent fasting at least 3 days per week.
-Walk a lot (to the grocery store, to the gym or just go out for a stroll for example)
-Train at least 5 times a week
-Don't think about a cheat meal.
Believe me guys I went from 21% body fat to 17% and I gained muscle in three months doing this

Tremendous respect for Arnold; from a foreign body-builder who literally and singlehandedly brought bodybuilding into the mainstream.
Arnold used his focus and discipline to become an "A" list actor in Hollywood in films ranging from comedy to action-drama.
Arnold broadened his brand and married into the "royal family" of politics in the 1960s - 1980s which set him up to become Governor of California.
Arnold, whether you agree with his politics or not is an American success story.

I am 71. Been working out since I was 14. My waist is 31" at 5'7" & 150lbs. One way to look at it is think in terms of Volume. The larger the volume of food and liquid you put in your stomach, the larger the stomach becomes. Couple that with the relentless pull of gravity 24/7 day after day, year after year. Gravity is not kind to people that are overweight, rather that excess weight is fat or muscle. Don't give gravity any more mass then is necessary to stay healthy. Arnold is right as usual. The whole idea behind fitness, health and longevity is control. Learn to control what you eat, how much you eat, how much you exercise and how much you rest. If you want to avoid all the pitfalls of aging then it is important to take charge of your health from all aspects. Granted ... their are no guarantees but it is my belief that it is worth the effort :)!

    3 sets of curls
3 sets of tire triceps extensions
    3 sets of shoulder press
    3 sets of squats
and so on for the basic set of body building exercise - don't over do it.
soon you will notice over time some body parts respond fast, some slow
once growth progress stops continue with 3 sets for the fast responding parts, and raise to 5-6sets the slow responding parts

Arnold Schwarzenegger is not just a titan of the body-building world, or of the movie business, or a successful businessman and political leader. He's mastered the art of living life well. His attitude is so great, it always has been - it is one of the things which has always set him apart. His belief in himself, in his dreams and in the possibilities of life. Sure, he's made plenty of mistakes, even some embarrassing ones - but show me someone of his stature who hasn't. Arnold never feared failing; he always dusted himself off, learned what he could, and then got back to work. You won't find a more-important lesson in life - as long as you get up one more time than you have been knocked down, you'll be OK. What a great man!
