Noise gates / Expanders are needed for 4 microphones to prevent compounded noise. Rodecasters have Gates, not many others do unless you go old school mixers with external gates through Inserts.
This is super duper helpful to make me more confident in my purchasing decision process. Impeccable timing too, coincidentally, as I was already planning to buy a Procaster tomorrow 😂 but I couldn't figure out which stand and cable to get with it or what lighting I would need. This really helps a lot, so I can't thank you enough! Keep up the great vids! 👍👍
Do you have a video Where you show how all this stuff is hooked up and you record? Specifically, how do you Use all this stuff with your phone? What are you recording to?
JUST started to research getting equipment. Quick question: is my understanding correct that with a RØDECaster Duo I may need an inline signal booster like a Cloudlifter? But the RØDECaster Pro II it has (forgive my imprecise terminology) has some sort of pre-amp function that would eliminate the need for a signal booster?
But if I use my phone to record without the mics sounds combine together with the mouth and the voice how will I get it to match the lip movements if it's not going into the phone lile those lavalier mics🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Just ordered up 4 shure sm7b, and a RCP2 at Best Buy. I tried to use your link but my wife ended up making the purchase on her end with her card in her machine after me sending her a screenshot. I didn’t even think about it til now but I’m sorry we ended up getting it without your link I guess technically. If you need order number and can link it on your end to get credit, just lmk. Some of it delivers today and the rest we pick up tomorrow.
Just found your channel and subscribed. I was researching a solution to record with 8 mics. What do you recommend that can handle that many mics. This will be used for a board meeting with 8 members. I like the digital solutions. Thanks for sharing and all the info.
Love your content even though I usually know all the info or don’t need it! Just like how you present things and your great taste in quality gear . Thanks
For sure. There are pros/cons to each. I find that the low profile ones are always in my way when I want to use a laptop or notebook on the table in front of me.
It's a Blessing to Learn from you. thank you very much

Thanks for thinking about me but it’s no big deal! Enjoy the gear and good luck with your recording!
Actually,
I checked every last website link in the KC description, it works! There is nothing wrong with his website links.
@@JonathanBeeGoodnever said that there was something wrong with his links.
Great videos brother! God bless you!

Low profile boom arms can be had for undr $50 and the benefits of the stand not being in your face is worth it
