I had issues getting the rudder to work, even though it worked before and your video helped me, i updated the driver and now works fine. Thanks.

Thank you so much for this video. Just got my hotas 4 today and the throttle quadrant didn't work apon calibrating in the sim. I installed the driver and then did the test under control panel and everything works. Now I tried it on the sim and it works. You just made my day

Bro I fucking love you! I just got into ace combat on pc and I had the hotas 4 because I used to play elite dangerous on Playstation but I couldn't for the life of me figure out why steam wasn't registering my throttle. You're awesome bro.

I had my throttle go out on me on an Airfield, as I was taxiing. It was the first of many wonky examples, where I have to hold the skinny part of the B2 button, but not too much otherwise it doesn't work.... and when it does, it augments differently than it has in the past. I was wondering if this is the solution for the problem, i wrote the developer of the Airfield i was at (3rd party) and said Hey!!! Your airport broke my throttle! 😄 I'll check it out. Thanks for your helpful vid mate.

Thanks ever so much mate, I was worried cause I bought it thinking it was the one that had a switch to change between ps and pc but as you know it doesn't, lol. Then I had this exact problem, and again silly me I downloaded the driver for the x instead of the 4. Your vid here showed me my error and I am now enjoying fs2020 with my hotas4, cheers mate.

I have a similar issue, but my issue is my throttle will only register 50-100% throttle but won’t register less than 50% (Simply put: Physical throttle on idle registers as 50%) and I’ve tried quite literally everything I can find

I have followed the video to a tee but I am still unable to make any control work in game. I should also add that I am using XP11. It is calibrated in game but when I go to move the joystick or the throttle nothing responds in the cockpit... Any ideas?

Omg I was going to return this because I thought it was faulty
I have done everything I can, but my flight stick forces my camera upwards and is stuck there, or while flying forces it downward(inverted) into the ground and forces the aircraft I'm flying to crash. The directional movements seem to get stuck in that direction, even when I let go of it. I've updated drives, restarted everything, tried different settings. I still lose control of my camera when in game using the Hotas (One/X) on PC.

Is that simple. I wonder if this is covered in the user start up guide? Windows update sometimes finds the drivers for such devices. Won't hurt to open your Windows Update and to see if it says something about "Optional updates".
This one needs the thrustmaster driver to get it working properly.
Any ideas as to why my Hotas 4 suddenly stopped working? I am reinstalling the drivers but am getting a pop up asking me if I want to completely remove the selected application and all of its features (Shield Wizard)

my HOTAS 1 combo keeps appearing for 2 seconds then disappearing in the game controllers tab i spent 1 week trying to figure it out then gave up for 3 months and just came back to give it another shot and anothings working any words of wisdom fellow gamer

I hope you can help me with this..I bought t Hoyas one can’t figure out what the Allen wrench is for, no instructions. Parts won’t stay so Allen wrench but don’t see any screws?
It lets you detach the throttle and stick - check underneath the Hotas.

Does that happen after calibration? Sounds like it may be defective.
The updated driver doesn't seem to be available for the hotas x, just 4 and one. The x is the older Hotas for pc/ps3/ps4

It sounds like you need to tick 'Reverse Axis' on your Throttle binding: in Controls Options/Power management.
when i try to open the file it just says "do you allow this to make changes to your device" i click yes and nothing happens. please help.

Hey, my joystick wont really react to the rudders. when i wanna taxi my front tear will only move millimeters to each side. i tried the sensitivity settings etc but nothing works, can you help me

Do you have any rudder assistance options enables, in Assistance Options?
On that one, the PlayStation one is there a little switch on the back that makes it go between xbox and pc?
Not on the Hotas 4 - works on my PS4 & PC, just by simply plugging it in.

It sounds like it is not connected properly - double check all connections.
I have the same throttle and the exact same problem but it’s through my “X” Box. How do I do what you did on XBox?
You can't do this same procedure on Xbox.
Ensure you have the Hotas set fully in Xbox mode.
Did not fix it but I will find a way someday.. That or buy a new joystick

You have put the selector switch at the front of the unit, to either PC/Xbox (depending which you're connecting it to?
@@Huddison yeah I’ve switch it from pc/Xbox depending what I’m trying to use it on and it’s completely unresponsive. I’ve been trying to update it on the pc but yeah absolutely no signals for the pc to even detect it

@@Huddison «Drivers - Package 2021_TFHT_2 + Firmware [System Requirement: Windows® 10 / 11]» for the hotas one. I just searched for “hotas one drivers” and downloaded it from the thrustmaster support page.

Should this work for PlayStation? Like if I play using the HOTAS 4 on the PlayStation can I connect it to the PC download the drivers and then go back to using it on the PlayStation
The drivers are for your PC only.

Please help me! I got my Hotas 4 all set up and working for War Thunder EXCEPT neither the rudder paddles on the throttle or the stick work. So I can't turn left and right.
