    Pretty cool! Is it difficult to descend or land?

      its alright i went from 250k feet up down to sea level for landing 30 miles away at mach 10 and landed perfectly so i think its fine

    whats with the airspeed gauge

    • @ishandagar1
      @ishandagar1 Месяц назад +2

      it is showing equivalent air speed. it doesn't factor in the density of the air at altitude.

    Why does the airspeed go down with increasing altitude?

    • @Efemral
      @Efemral 3 месяца назад +5

      Probably less air up there

      @fns3426 3 месяца назад +8

      Less dense air, so the instruments don’t read correct. Look up airspeed conversions for like a really good explanation. Like true v calibrated v indicated airspeed

      you can always look at TAS (true airspeed) or at the Mach number in the bottom left corner. 1 Mach equals 1234,8 km/h

      The IAS is based on air presssure, so air pressure is very low high up. Most important numebr is IAS to avoid stalls and overspeed.
      The TAS (true air speed) is what you are really moving at relative to the ground. Notice, TAS is over 5000 knots.

    250 000 ft is too high to fly. Better to fly at 120 000 ft
