About Me: I started lifting at 17 years old in 2019, the summer before I entered my freshman year of college. I was a mere 120 pounds at 5'8, and my only goal was to gain weight. Since then I've bulked 5 times, reaching my heaviest at 206 pounds, and cut 4 times to a lowest of around 10% bodyfat. In 2025 I plan to compete in my first natural bodubuilding show. Using the knowledge I have acquired and continue to learn, my goal is to help all of you achieve your fitness goals and prove that no matter what stands in your way, hard work and consistency will always prevail! I can relate, tbh, 6 years into lifting, and I feel the same way looking back into my years 2-4, I was very obsessive (still am) but looking back a lot of the things that I did were absurd lol that saving ur laundry for leg day so u could do lunges is hilarious tho 😂😂

My freshman year (and only year) of college was at an apartment near a community college. My roommates were two Asian American who attended the same high school. They were great but we didn't click. They were very into academics. I had done gymnastics from age 4 (first in Ukraine) and then stayed in gymnastics when I was adopted and raised in rural USA. I left gymnastics at age 18. I was severely beat up at age 16 by older athletes who had just graduated and were on their way to their first year of college. They targeted my abs built for gymnastics but became their punching bag. I woke up to wanting to gain a lot of lean muscle. I grew up shirtless for my sport, in training and just everyday life. My college roommates tolerated me. I had a door pull up bar that I rigged to be lower enough that I could do hanging leg raises with my butt just a few inches above the floor as my starting position--it forces the abdominals to do most of the heavy lifting. I grew up doing hanging leg raises this way and I think my roommates saw me do these most days. They did say they wished to have abs too but said it was more" theoretical than applied" aspirations. The pandemic hit that March 2020 and they returned home leaving me alone in the apartment and no gym. I spent the rest of freshman year training abs indoors and doing bar workouts at a nearby high school that had closed. I saw yellow tape closing off the area with pull up and dipping bars but I was used them anyway.
