Bruh you inspired me to get back in the gym after years. You actually learned about how our bodies work and use that to more efficiently lift. I still watch your videos between sets to check my form. Hey max, I never write comments of any kind. I'm a 36 YO male that works out from home. I follow a lot of your workouts, I have been tracking your progress and I truly admire you. I tell all my friends if they want to start working out to follow u. I have now focused on target muscle workout and put ego lifting on the side on top of that I started intermittent 18hr fasting and more protein consumption and let me tell you OMG in the last 2 months I have seen better results than in my previous 3 yrs. So thx to you and based on experience you can look better. There are no better steroids than believing in yourself, putting a lot of effort and being consistent! Keep the hard work brother and keep inspiring people. BTW you approached this clown in a very professional way, he is just jealous but he just made ur channel grow. Congrats! 👏

Mate I tell my buddies about him sharing tips on the bulk and the pre-workout meals. It's a big props to us who are in the starting out and the 'intermediate' phase (not even a year) which we benefit especially his meal preps!
Max is the prime example of what diligence and self discipline looks like. If you have the time, money, knowledge, and discipline to work and follow through with your workout you can achieve great results. But people are to lazy and always want a "get it now quick scheme" to do any real work. Then they look for the easiest path no matter how they get it or what it really does to their body.
Yes I agree but his genetics allowed him to achieve that physique. Genetics is very important for bodybuilding. Another person can be just as hardworking , disciplined but not get good results.
GUYS, GUYS... This is not naturally obtainable physique in 3 years, it would take at least 10 years to get 20kg+ of lean muscle tissue. I know there are newbie gains but they last about 6 months, and then you pray to gain a kg of muscle in a year. He is 100% not natty...
@@kamilmensik6521 this physique is 100% achievable. i started going to the gym on april 2021 and i have a similar build to max's second year. if i did a long bulk like he did i 100% think i could get that physique
@@ntando5586 Yes, because in the second year he was still probably natural. But bulking makes you fat, it doesnt magically give you 10kg of muscle mass, you gain mostly fat, and some amount of muscle, and when you cut you lose at least half of the muscle mass gained by the bulk. Bulk is not a magical formula for gaining muscle.
@@kamilmensik6521 during his bulk he was fat, considerably at one point, puffy face, big ass and some belly fat. there are plenty of guys i know of personally who have accomplished this type of physique in 3-4 years. he also plays around with photoshop and lightroom he might not look this good all the time, only when he has a pump, good lighting and editing
I said you were natty in his comments and Greg attacked me for my opinion Keep up the work. keep working out bro and keep inspiring people like me to train. Props to Max's hard work and discipline.
Yeah it’s insane to compare an untrained 14yo boy to a 19yo who’s been consistently hitting the gym and eating right for a couple years. Hormones, body comp and bone density changes, etc. it makes complete sense.

@XPLODE Don't forget that many people are idiots
max, this man just can’t comprehend the idea that discipline and dedication can beat “genetics”. this is about fixed mindset that makes people give up without even trying just because their “genetics” isn’t perfect in the first place. thank you max for showing by example, for actually inspiring me and hundreds of people by your progress!
I think Clarence Kennedy said it best about genetics. Good genetics is quick progression, not where you start. Clarence initially looked like a twig but he had the genetics to put on an insane amount of strength quickly
You cannot beat genetics.
@@saladederizsauvage yes you right, you can't beat genetics, but that doesn't stop you for being the best you can be, the peak of your own genetic, you just have to work hard, have good nutrition, good rest, and good suplementation (opcional), do the right things at least 4 years straight and you are gonna look really good. 💪🏻🦍
Honestly I think G Shreds ego is out of control when he talks about his genetics. This exchange has shown me he knows less than I would have thought. Especially when he said someone couldn’t do that 20 years. Genetics are a real factor don’t get me wrong but they certainly can be overcome.

AND cut makes big difference.. when im bulking nobody thinks like that .. when i cut even my friends thinks i taking something
It took me to actually train, with intent TO failure, with proper form, properly eating/weighing myself every morning, to realise how attainable a physique like Max's are in the timeframe, *based* *on* *my* *own* *results* , and how bogus half the people on the internet claiming natty physiques are unnatural are.
Exactly, most people wildly underestimate how good a natural physique can be
whats your workout routine/program so i can attain that attainable progress?
@Thug Lover Yes, whats the routine bro
@@ben1o112 Its really not difficult, just lift to failure with good form, progressive overload each session.
- Do 10-18 sets a week on each bodypart (split into 2 like a PPL/R/PPL/R (except for maybe biceps/triceps).
-Weigh yourself each morning, get average for a week, eat the same thing everyday with 1g of protein/lb of bodyweight (i.e. 150pds=150g), and if your average weight goes up from one week to the next (about 0.5lb-1lb), keep going until your weight plateaus, then add 100-200 calories, and visa versa on a cut.
Could look like:
(when you get to a certain rep amount, up the weight, depending on if you want to lift in different rep ranges, but do it to failure regardless). Do 3 sets for all. After a while you can individualise your training for lagging muscle groups.
Push: - A variety of chest press
- a variety of chest fly
(make sure one of these is incline, and you could add another 3 sets for either lower/upper/middle chest if you care)
- a variety of shoulder press
-a variety of lateral raise
- a tricep movement
Pull: - lat pulldown with neutral grip
- variety of lat row
- variety of upper back row/rear delt
- a variety of bicep curl
Legs: -variety of squat
- leg extensions
-hamstring curls and/or variety of deadlift
- variety of calf raises.

@@carsenblake901 Ikr why is Greg throwing a pissy fit over someone looking better than him at that age? Like go break another world record with your "elite" 5'3'' genetics

Your videos have helped me a great deal in forming my own routine. Especially the videos where you show all the muscles in each muscle group and the exercises to do for it to grow 👍 Not to mention correct forms as well.
Bro if you are in fact natural, you are a God, if you've taken stuff your a king.
Greg is the best sample for a saying that the olders always think that they are wiser the youngers. Greg is one of the OGs but he doesn't understand the power of knowledge nowadays. Any kid with good knowledge (thanks to the internet), hardworking mindset can archive good physics WAY FASTER than in the 90s - 2000s. And i'm still not talking about Max being the one of the best in the game speaking of mindset + technique, this guy lifts heavy, eats a lot, and most importantly, he understands about fitness more than any guys i've seen. The way he explains everything in his video proves that.
What a great wrong answer.
Dude I’ve been watching your videos as a constant reference for my lifting journey and all of your insights WORK. I’m still nowhere near your physique, but I look dramatically different to when I started lifting and really committing to this last year around this time. I believe you’ve done it natural.
Being 5'8 and finding out youre also 5'8 (and a half 😅) just gave me more inspiration, appreciate it and keep up the awesome work and information! 👑
Good height for bodybuilding. Hope you get massive and ripped. Keep working
You're a real inspiration Max keep going homie
We all love ya 🙏🏼🫂
Yep lying to everyones faces is totally inspirational.

@@yousefk8105 Apparently calling out a lying scum bag is crying now. Stay delusional.
glad you pointed out the heaviest you ever were was at 185.2lbs. thats similar for me, im 5'8.5" as welll and heaviest ive ever been in my life was 8 years ago at 180lbs and i was only that heavy due to water weight and severe unhealthy bloating. Right now im 175lbs empty stomach after starting lifting 14 months ago for the first time since precovid, and 178ish with water weight, trying to bulk to 185 or 190 by the end 2023 but im doing it as a slow clean bulk. trying for .5 lbs a week on average.
I started watching you when I was a little skinny Sophomore kid going through covid and honestly man I don't know what made me stick around but you inspire me man.
I've been lifting for about 5 months now, your videos are literally all I watch because of how amazingly concise and straight to the point they are. Thank you for making video clearing things up that everyone can make good transformation naturally. This really inspires a lot of newbies like me.
great genetics, hard work, and being constant is youve done! Great job
I believe you bro I watched your progress !
youre one of my favourite creators in the fitness media circle, i think your progression looks very linear and steady. seeing your videos on my instagram is one of the reasons i started training and i will always follow and believe in your (absolutely believable) training practices. greg offers some great advice but this one wasnt it, you shared a great motivating message throughout. thanks
Greatest compliment a Natty could ever get. So happy for you. Been following you for a few years and saw the natural progress in live time. Caloric surplus + progressive overload = results. You’re one of the real ones and an inspiration for me to start lifting again.
@Th Hs nobody take Greg seriously though, because he sounds like Gilbert Godfried playing the parrot in Alladin.
Keep working on yourself champ and inspiring others
Bro this was quality content. When greg said that time travel bit and you gave a side eye to the camera, that shit made me lol. Keep up the good grind brother more vids like this 💪
Yea man Ik the hard work that goes into a physique like this man. Idk why it’s hard for people to believe that with good diet and consistent proper training with proper recovery you can obtain a great physique. It may not be as good as others but that comes down to several other things mainly genetics. Keep up the hard work bro.
You’ve been a huge motivator for me over the last few years as I’ve gotten back into weight lifting. Cardio was/is my go-to, but your videos really helped me feel comfortable lifting again. Anytime I have a question as to what kind of exercise to do or what the correct form of a particular exercise looks like I ALWAYS search for one of your videos.
Thank you so much for your effort in making these videos and please know that you are making a difference.
Nice job Max! Your efforts have clearly paid of since you have amazing physique!
Quite the compliment. It’s so obvious you’re natural to an experienced natural lifter. Keep it up man I’ve been here for quite a long time. Your work ethic and talent never fails to impress.
Are you saying Greg doucette isnt an experienced lifter?!, hes been training for 30+ years and a world record holder in the bench press and deadlift. And a pro bodybuilder. Anyway not sure If I agree with him in this case but still
@@seanmat8he’s an angry manlet. You cannot trust someone who looks and sounds like him. He cares about RUclips money.
@@orlog3343 lmao!
Lol how would you know? If you would be actually experienced you would know that most of the time you cant tell if someone is natural. Only if they abuse steroids.
@@orlog3343 Looks like him? You means obviously experienced lifter? Sounds like him? You mean like using statistics and such? That is a red flag to you? And dont you think Max cares about youtube money? Why do you believe him?
Sounds like your followers have your back, bro. 🤜🤛 Hope you/your career only keep going from strength to strength. Smashing it, dude. Thanks for the constant education & inspiration. 🙏
You know, every time I workout and I wanna make sure I have good form and stuff like that, I always looks for your videos. I’ve been training more consistently for a year and a bit now and I’ve been doing that since then. Love your videos and you look insane🔥🔥
By now I've been lifting longer than I haven't (about to turn 34) and while I agree with Greg on a lot of things I can't see myself doubting you being natural at all. I feel like he doesn't realize how misleading photos can be. You're an absolute unit and look great, however, you, like every other fitness content creator, post pictures in the best lightning, best angle and best form possible.
So yeah, I fully understand how it's easy for someone not knowing this to think you're not natty, but Greg just surprised me on this one.
Keep up the great work 💪💪
Comparing a base level no muscle physique is like comparing seeds and stating the small seed wont get that big as a matured plant... How do you know? You dont.
Max you are truly authentic both inside and out! You handled this with such class. Your hard work, dedication & persistence has allowed you to achieve your goals. Don’t let anyone tell you different. Doubters do not have the discipline you do day in & day out. It’s not an easy lifestyle. You inspire me every day to eat better, exercise more & enjoy fitness. THANK YOU! I’m so proud of you honey, keep doing you! Love you❤️Mom

Max you've motivated many people to get things done, you look great
you win brother, you have done amazing for yourself and I feel very inspired! thanks Greg, easy follow 😂
💪💪 definitely natural ...the guy commented just jealous
You’re a goat max 🙏 I learned so much from you and I’m seeing so much progress. It’s crazy what you can accomplish when you train, eat and rest optimally. Some people just can’t accept that others can work hard
Love to hear that bro ♥♥
Max worked harder than Greg Doucette? 🤔
@@Kavaitsu never mentioned greg did i, the only time I mentioned either was by saying max was a goat 🙏🔥
@@jaclob_ You really adorn a RUclipsr by calling them a goat and all the fanboys are jumping in to defend him
