@@ProBusinessInsights ideally, we always want to be progressing as that is how we actually challenge our muscles enough to grow. So, every session, you should be trying to beat what you did last session, either in terms of weight, reps, or relative intensity. So for example, if it's chest day and you're about to do bench press, look at what you did last time u trained chest, and aim to do more reps or use more weight. Obviously, progress isn't always linear and there will be days where you can't progress, and may even regress, so track your lifts and think long term. Have you been progressing gradually every 2 or so weeks? If you haven't and progress has been the same for a month or so, assess what you're doing outside the gym that may be impacting your recovery or fatigue.
You should make a video on how people can train the smartest way on a time crunch. A lot of people can't train for an hour or more like you do, so wondering what some of your tips would be to have a shorter but equally effective workout?
Jeff nippard recently released a video titled “minimalist training” in which he gives you effective work outs to be done in 45min or less. I think that’s what you’re looking for
You’ve been a savior for me in the gym. I enjoy going so much more since finding your channel and implementing many of your tips into my workout plan, as balancing all of the knowledge and information gives me a sense of purpose in the gym.
Bro honestly this is great information. I've always been confused of how to properly use the weights in my reps but now it's clear to me. Keep up the good work brother!
Thank you very much. Incredibly helpful and I will most definitely refer a friend to your training basics series whenever they feel lost in the complex world of weightlifting. The way you narrow everything down in an easy to understand format is great, and you are highly underrated. Keep up the excellent work, Max.
Max, you’ve really informed me for months with info I never thought I’d find. Really is applicable and optimal and thank you so much for your dedicated efforts! Also, the mullets looking fresh
Max, Thank you for your videos, I have been tracking my workouts using a notebook and I am seeing WAY better results than when I didn’t track my lifts. All credit to you! Keep up the hard work and quality content!
I love you so much man I’ve been going to the gym for only a month now and your videos have been my main source of information and helped me with most of the questions i had! Thank you so much for making these videos ❤
Wow this video is so helpful for such noobs like me. I only have been lifting for just over a month and i didn’t know about the warm up sets. Thank you and looking forward for more videos on your channel.
I’ve been enjoying your videos a lot and also I’ve been doing warm up sets for much more reps than you recommended and I’d start light and keep increasing but after watching this my warm up reps will be shorter and I’ll start heavy so that way I have the most energy to push and pull thanks for the vid
well said, clear and very imformative with no BS! all my respect! keep it up! and please cover how to program a weekly workout / volume need per week ...
I’m glad that you mention a new word called back off sets but when it comes to your top set/ heavier set it’s ok that you’re form is neglecting after a couple reps cause that shows that since the velocity of the concentric movement is constantly slowing down, you’re muscles worked hard enough and gets enough fatigue, I’m only 18 yrs old but I’m still learning a lot from you 💯
Currently laying on my back in bed on muscle relaxers and steroids to get my sciatica under control, I'm learning all these basics to hopefully start working out once I'm better to get stronger for a healthier body. Thank you for these breakdowns for gym/exercise/training noobs.
Hi Max! Thank you so much for producing such an informative video! I feel I've learnt a lot as I restarting my own fitness journey. I was wondering if you could do a video or give some more advice on where to begin when starting out (i.e cutting or bulking first). Thank you very much, looking forward to all you have in store for us next. :)
happy that he's actually producing high quality information that is actually useful and not spewing out bs on the internet just for likes and views, amazing job.
I fucking love the organization, break down of elements and notes throughout the video 👏🥵 you're so dedicated to everything you do man, keep up the great work!
Helpful video as always from Max! I have never been disappointed by watching your videos. There is always something new and legit things to learn from ur vids/shorts. I only see you videos to learn. I have seen other youtubers but they aint nowhere near you. You are my motivation bruv. ❤
Dude i love your channel so much all of my workouts are based form your workouts and your video if it werent for you my workouts would of been much slower and not at there full potential thank you so much
Amazing content, as always. Super helpful! I'd love to hear your thoughts on drop sets and super sets. I'd also love to see what your thoughts are on implementing cardio. I also wonder how you learned everything yourself lol. How did all this knowledge get to you? How did you learn from your mistakes?
Great videos and series ❤. Waiting for videos on diet (macro and micro nutrients), sleep, recovery, training volume for each muscle and best exercises.
glad I watch you alongside with Jeff nippard when I first started my working out journey, Learned so much and got faster results thanks to both channels. Edit, I like how you answer all the questions under the comment section you should do a another Q/A soon to engage more with the audience
greta vid. I unknowingly have been utilizing the back off method recently and really enjoy it! would you ever consider doing a video where you go over your workout plan?
Hey max! First off, I think your vids are really entertaining and informative, keep up the good work! Secondly, I have some questions: should all of the working sets I do be taken to failure, or only some of them? and according to if you take all/half of your working sets to failure, how long should your rest periods be? Normally people say “train to failure” but I never understand if I should ALWAYS train to failure, because people around me say different things that confuse me a lot.
Thanks Max, great and informative advice as per usual 👌🏼 Aside from being in a calorie deficit, what changes should you make when cutting? Should you increase number of sets/reps and use lower weight to make it more of a cardio workout that can promote fat loss?

I plan to talk about this in a video soon when I discuss intensity techniques like dropsets and supersets!
@@MaxEuceda7 amazing! Looking forward to it
Do 1 set of failure for each exercise. That’s all you need. Plus it saves a lot of time. Also be sure to add supersets if needed.
