Thank you so much for doing what you do! I bought and used Palermo on my footage and WOW! I had no idea this little camera was actually capable of doing this level of magic! What you do is pure voodoo and I love it. Gonna check out every single video of yours now and really look forward to all your future work. ❤
Thank you so much for purchasing it and I love to hear you're enjoying it! Have just finished recording my script for my DJI OSMO pocket 3 review - should be out in a week or two
I love your content so very much! Thank you for this power grade, I’ll make sure to get it once I get my osmo pocket 3 this month. Cheers to you and the lady!
@@morrisonsly5634 hahaha - I don't think it's quiet good enough to replace my pro kit - but yes if you expose it properly you can get some incredible footage out of it!! I'm very keen to try use the Osmo to shoot most of my RUclips pieces to camera on (as I did in this vid).
Really nice powergrade Ed! Quick Q: What export settings do you use to retain film grain after uploading to RUclips? Have you had issues in the past with RUclips "smoothing out" your film grain?
@@MinerDolan sometimes, yes! I recommend export in 4k, and then as high bit rate as possible to maintain grain quality. H264 will require a higher bit rate than h265. Also having a slightly more defined and sharpened grain helps too - basically how it’s dialled in with the power grade should give you good results
Hi... not sure I understand correctly, does the powergrade stand for things like "bloom, grain, WB" in your davinci resolve example? I don't have paid version, but I'd like to try adding grain or maybe vigenette, does it mean I need powergrade and lut both to achieve similar look like yours? Also, since I am new would prefer not to spend hours tweaking things for now. Thanks!
Things like grain & bloom will require the paid version of resolve. So maybe better to get the LUT version and that will still give you the colours and core "look" - stuff like bloom and grain are just subtle extras on top.
Hi Ed! Your videos are amazing! Regarding your Powergrade and LUT pack, will this work also if I have Slog3 footage from my mirrorless camera? I have a project which I plan to mix both the DJI OP 3 and A7siii. Thank you!
So the LUTs probably won't look good on Slog3 but elements of the powergrade will, if you swap out the Palermo LUT and instead use a Sony rec709 LUT or a CST instead you should still be able to benefit from stuff like colour density, bloom and grain.
I got your LUT and used it on my RUclips latest video! It was my first time making a video from the osmo pocket 3 and trying to colour grade! Looks great!
Thanks! Please can you make a video just showing off more shots of using the dj osmo. Preferably not all in slow mo? To get a feel of just how usable this could be for movie like documentary work.
@@MailManMatti yes and I will have another vid out soon on how to dial in settings and shoot nice looking footage with the Osmo. General tip, pick up some of the little magnetic ND filters, make sure your shutter speed is always double your frame rate and then watch your highlights - i.e. make sure they don't blow out and clip! If you do that you can really fool people that the footage is shot on a more expensive camera! It's usually the blown out highlights that gives the game away!
Your website won’t process the order. I tried a bunch last night any a bunch today. Could you take PayPal possibly? Idk why it isn’t working. Either way! Thank you for the replies ❤
Thanks for buying! Have you watched the tutorial it came with? It should helpfully explain there's also a read me tutorial as well. The powergrade will only work in resolve the LUTs will work in FCPX

Today it matters more how you treat a footage than what you shot it on. This colour grading gives Palermo more soul. Great video Ed! :D
thanks George!

Great stuff! Always happy to see people making the most of more modest equipment!!
There's something really satisfying about trying to squeeze nice images out of cheaper cameras!
You absolutely slayed with this pack! I am LOVING IT!

That sheep shot really jumps out of all your Palermo promo footage. Looks like a great trip. Perfect travel cam!
@@alanmarino2511 thanks! It really helps to show off the greens in the grade. Also that shot was captured in Yorkshire and not Palermo haha.
@@EdProsser Ha - I shoudla known it woulda been a goat
Looks phenomenal! It’s amazing what you can get out of such a tiny, inexpensive camera….
I know, I can't get enough of this little camera for personal stuff, it's a lot of fun and perfect for social media or bringing on trips!

It looks fantastic amazing work!!
Great Video!
amazing, what about this powergrade and mini 4 pro with dlog M?
I haven't tested it, but am sure it'd work, if you want to send me some footage more than happy to give it a go! palermo@edprosser.com

The talking head is also shot and graded with it. But more vids coming soon.
Check out my latest vid for more real time / non-slow mo shots
Do I need powergrade for premiere?
The powergrade will only work in resolve, the standalone LUTs will work in any software that uses (including Premiere).

Great product will definitely get when I get this camera
Buying this tonight after work
Thanks man 🔥

hihi! did you use mist filter ?
no, don't think it looks good. part of the powergrade has my own digital highlight bloom
@ how about nd filters? Shooting in manual?
will this work for capcut
I haven't used capcut but I believe it can accept LUTs, definitely double check it can, but if so the LUT pack should be fine
