Having started making content, I started on CapCut. Upgraded to the pro and I love it. Another one of your videos brought be here and I think I’m finally convinced I need a Pocket 3.
Glad to hear you are enjoying my content! The OP3 is such a great camera. It is easy to use and the footage it captures is amazing for how small it is. Let me know if you have any OP3 questions I can answer. Thank you for watching!
Hello! I generally film in 24fps at 4K for talking head/normal speed. Then I like to use 60fps 4K for my b-roll and convert it back to 24fps. If you are interested, I have a video on my channel explaining the different frame rates and one explaining my lowlight settings. Thank you!
I'm only 8 minutes in and already you've given so many gems. Forget the easter eggs, I'm counting gems hahaha. Thank you for taking your time to walk us through your process. It's obvious you've been doing this for a while and you love it.
Hi! I just recently bought this camera but i'm not sure if i should shoot my videos vertically or horizontally for Instagram reels and posts..what do you suggest? thank you in advance😊
Hello! I mainly use my camera for RUclips, so I film horizontally. You can crop these for social media. If you're mostly on Instagram, filming vertically saves time. Ultimately, it depends on your platform you are planning on using. Thank you for checking out my video!
Hello! If the video clip already has an audio file, the audio will appear on the timeline attached to the video file. If you want to add music, you can choose the music you want and place it on the timeline directly below the clip of people talking. I recommend turning the volume/db of the music lower so you can understand the talking portion. I hope this helps! Thank you for checking out my video!
Cool video! 😄 I just got an Osmo Pocket 3 and I'm still getting the hang of it. I'm a total noob when it comes to editing. I tried messing around with DaVinci Resolve free, it's nice, but the free version is not very found of D-Log M 10 bit files, the image gets glitchy. 😢 I'm trying Cap Cut next. 😁 Also, I counted 10 dino editors 😂
Very close on the Dino count! 👍Thank you for watching my video! You're going to love the OP3. Capcut also has some great filters (luts) inside the app you can easily apply to help with color grading. DJI's log isn't too difficult to work with once you get it down. I have a video tutorial on color grading OP3 footage, which might help you in Resolve. ruclips.net/video/IdHuvad2fSo/видео.html
Hello! Unfortunately, you have to download the footage to edit it with CapCut. Depending on what iPad you have, you can use an external hard drive with it to add more memory.
typically if you have a computer. you can get a sd card reader or transfer the footage to hard drive. that would allow you to edit on cap cut PC. i think you can do the same for iphone. hope i made sense lol
Hello, I'd like to ask how did you transfer your videos filmed using the DJI Osmo Pocket 3? What video format/settings are your videos? 'Cause mine is set to HEVC, and I find it hard to edit it using capcut, their glitchy and sometimes logging.. i hope you could answer me, Thank you very much.
Hello! I copied my files from the DJI Mimo app. You can also use a dongle and transfer the files with a mini SD card reader. I always film in the .mp4 format. MP4 files are easily readable which will help with better playback in CapCut and other editing software. I hope this helps!
This is super cool but to me, begs the question, why on Earth would anyone want to edit video on a tiny screen when you can have something like a 27" iMac, or similar? Or if travelling, even a notebook? I'd think Capcut desktop version would be a much better experience.
Hello! Thank you! For me, the main purpose of the Osmo Pocket 3 is to have a great camera on the go. While traveling, I don't necessarily want to bring a laptop and find editing quick social media videos on an iPad or iPhone more convenient. Of course, at home I prefer to use my Macbook and monitor. I do have a CapCut desktop tutorial on my channel if you would like to check it out! Thank you for watching my video!
@@Cole-Bielecki Got it, logical. I guess if I .. had... to use an iPad, I'd get the model with the largest screen they made or mirror video to any large LCD or even 4k TV I could find for this, I'd still find a way, if humanly possible to not have to do serious video editing on a tiny screen, but I salute you and your great eyes.. if you can do it.

I have my downloaded my videos from my Pocket 3 but they are all ending in D.THM so when I open up Capcut I cant see them or upload them. HELP!
what variant of ipad do you use?
Hello! I am using the iPad Air, 4th gen.
Круто !!! Спасибо большое !!!
Love the video! Very informative!
Thank you, Craig! I really appreciate you checking out my RUclips Channel!
Can we add our own music from my playlist?
Yes! You can bring in your own music/voiceover and layer it as it's own track.
Available for windows too?
Yes! I see it in the Microsoft app store.
@@Cole-Bielecki thanks
Yeah, but i dont have the pocket 3 however i am interested in anything you have on the 2. :")
All good! I haven't used the 2, but I'm sure it shares a lot of the same features/settings as the 3.

I'm a beginner...how do you add sound from the video itself (i.e. people talking on camera) to music over b footage?

@@Cole-Bielecki How long is the rendering time of your videos?
@@christopherbriones549 The one-minute video I exported in CapCut took 30-40 seconds to render.
@@Cole-Bielecki What about for a longer video?
My longer videos take 2-3 times the length of the video to render in Premiere. However, your render speeds will depend on your computer's specs.
