So idk if you’d know but I got the injora servo and it’s laying flat, have the steering as close to center as it’ll go BUT when returning to center it hums one way and not the other? Dunno what to do tried the other side (center) since it hangs one tooth left or right and still will humm on the opposing side it’s sitting on
@@Marcs_TV Thanks for responding. I'm waiting for a Traxxas metal geared servo to arrive by mail. I've added wheel weights, diff covers, aluminum servo mount, all aluminum links, and hardened steel front and rear axcels. I hope it can handle all that.
quick question my man....did you see any issues with it later on? this video was a while ago and i just stripped my plastic gears.. concerned about the one white plastic nub that goes inside the main gear. Does it all hold together extremely well? Also it's still waterproof just as fine after opening it? Thanks so much!
I’m surprised that they sell these servo’s with plastic gears. 12yr old went through 2 in a week after buying. Online support said it should only be operated above 80 degrees
Take the servo arm off. Turn the car on and your transmitter. Make sure trim on your transmitter is centered. Now you can re install the servo arm and if a small amount of trim is needed after that use the trim on your transmitter.
Replaced my gears with a kit o got from traxxas warranty. Turned it on and wheels instantly went hard right. And are stuck there. Any idea what I missed
Before you put the servo arm on the servo you need to power on the truck and center your steering trim. This will center the servo and then you can put in your servo arm.
You did the whole thing with no cuts or editing. Awesome work!
There was a couple cuts in there! Tried to make it look like it was all in one go.
Nice quick fix! Good job man 🍻
Thank you!
Definitely have to get them already busted one of the plastic gears first real crawl
Dang that sucks
thank you! great tip
Your welcome!

Have you added a lot of weight since you installed the metal gears? Thanks!
No I have not just the wheel weights.

I would think Traxxas would make a servo that could hold up to their upgrade parts. That will be a sweet truck when you are done!
@@Marcs_TV That's what I'm hoping. Thanks. Probably going to be needing a more powerful motor next.
What do I do the small plastic where you put the gear upside down snapped should I super glue it?
What size Philips screwdriver for those case screws?
Why wouldn't you replace the whole servo? Just curious. Seems easier to do the whole thing.
$3 vs $28

Mine still works fine. Make sure you get the o ring back on right to make sure it is still waterproof.

Yea first Traxxas car that I have had that was not really strong enough out of the box.
Is it still waterproof after opening ?
If you put it back together correctly yes.
I got one metal gears from traxxas 2065r. But it is not centered, can you help how do center again?.. thanks

Does that help?
