My son's locked up the 2nd day. I put in a ecopower servo that I had in my full size trx4. Just had to trim the inside a bit. A lot faster and stronger.
@Austin Townsend how did you get the eco power you purchased to work. I put the same one in mine and it would only sharply turn left. Is there a way you have to program/ sync it to work
Great Upgrade! Could you please indicate the full Name and type of the servo? The Amazon link is showing unfortunately another one which looks definitely different. Thx in advance.
The link is working for me - but let's try this again: amzn.to/3FIyctT There are 4 servo options on that page. The link should land you at the B13DLM v2
How is it holding up so far. Killed my stock servo within 15 days. Bought a cheap metal gear servo, works fine but when It is up against something it does not go, I’m assuming not enough power / torque. I wanted to go with this or the a20cls.
so i was wondering after you connect the servo how do i bind a different controller that originally came with it if you know i would greatly appreciate it
Hello i had watch all of your videos order to make low budget rc drift car i had pick the 3RACING Sakura D5 S MR KIT and all the electronics and receiver i already got those in but there is a problem i need a perfect rc body shell i already pick one i really like but the only problem is that is the wheelbase is a little bit longer like 260mm long can you make a video about body shell apparently i don't know if mine would fit in 3RACING Sakura D5 S MR KIT wheelbase 257mm here is more information 3RACING Sakura D5 S MR KIT width 200mm Wheelbase 257mm Body shell: 1970 dodge charger width 200mm Wheelbase 260mm I have other body shell i also really like and it is shorter on the wheelbase Body shell: 1970 dodge challenger width 200mm Wheelbase 258mm Please make a video on body shell i'm still thinking about getting other body shell to fit my 3RACING Sakura D5 S MR KIT

Also the ecopower 640t servo is only $30 and same spline as stock
You fit a 1:10 servo in it?
@@RoadsideRC It was the micro servo for the gear shift. The trx4 uses 3 2065 servos . Gear shift and front and rear locking diffs.

@@legomanstarwars4840 did you power it up before putting the horn on and connecting it to the steering?
Just finished your upgrade! Thanks for your video and making it easy!
Glad it helped!
Great upgrade and install

Yes sir!
did it mess with the suspension at all? i noticed the stock servo BARELy misses the shock towers when one side of the suspension is full flex
Nope, no issues.

Thanks for the Details. The link shows the B05cls due to non availability of the other.

So far, so good for me!
@@RoadsideRC you think it’ll hold up with heavy brass wheels?
@@sumo_shaneomac Not sure - I typically don't add rotational weight.
What about now? 1 year later.
so i was wondering after you connect the servo how do i bind a different controller that originally came with it if you know i would greatly appreciate it
The servo has no interaction with the controller binding. You don't need to change anything with the controller due to the servo.
Big difference in speed and torque
Sure was!
I have had mine for 2-3 weeks and my servo already locked up I had to get a new one
Sorry to hear that. Hopefully this helped!

Body shell: 1970 dodge challenger

Wheelbase 258mm
Please make a video on body shell i'm still thinking about getting other body shell to fit my 3RACING Sakura D5 S MR KIT
Hello
You are on the right path.
Both bodies will work, but the 260mm body will look a little odd.
The 258 body will be great! Go with that one!
i think i broke my servo. i made a really nice thick mud slurry track and was having fun until my steering got stuck to the left.
Good chance you are right!
Audio holy shat lol what mic are you using i felt like it was an emergency lol
When are you hearing interference? I just listened and didn't hear any?
LE-A?
Sorry, I'm not sure what you are asking.
