The sincerity when he removed his "force" glasses was sincere. Know John for a long time, love him or hate him, the man is genuine.
Not everyone may be a fan of John Force, but I don't know why anyone would "hate' him.

Heard about this gentleman on Extreme Machines: Adrenaline Junkies, his funny car stuff was insane in the footage shown. Is there anyone else who drives funny cars or top fuels that should be on my radar? Would like to know about more than one driver! 😅
As a stroke survivor at 65 and having followed your career all I can say is,"Thank God and you keep on rockin!"
Yeah I’m in the same boat and we struggle with our words a bit but we make it work. Looking forward to seeing footage of John at the upcoming Vegas race.

John, I experienced a similar accident.
Five hours of life saving neurosurgery, 10 days in a coma in ICU, lost the use of my legs.
It takes time to recover but I am now back about 95% and getting stronger every day.
What got me well was The Lord, I owe it all to Him.

In the early 1980s, I am bracket racing at Fremont Dragway, Fremont, California. Over the loudspeaker I hear the announcer say we’re here to welcome a star in the NHRA John force. I’m in the pits working on my car behind the grandstand and can hear the loud burn out and feel the thunder of the power under my feet. I’m at the end of the track so I run over to the fence and watch John come flying by me at 300 miles an hour. I’ve been hooked on the NHRA since and watched the Force Family for decades. Thank you John. Get well soon.

There is a reason why so many people love this guy. He just showed you why. Humble, check. Sincere, check. Has not forgotten where he came from, check. Has no problem speaking to a billionaire or a guy that digs ditches every day for a living equally and without judgement, check. All around character that is beyond reproach, check. If I didn’t already think the world of this man, I definitely do now. So great to see John’s recovery is going much better than I had feared. Have seen John race in Vegas 3 times and Seattle for 17 years, as we live in Oregon. He is the best driver out there and we hope he will enjoy life now and let these youngsters follow his legacy and consult them instead of drive. Only one time in Seattle he didn't qualify and we were there. Bet that was one of few times he didn't qualify, or only time. Got his autograph several times and talked to him on Vegas as we met him on the street walking to the fan fest in Old Town. Thank you John for all of the work you did for this sport.
