Hey man update after about two months running this setup and the articulation is night and day compared to the stock location. Thank you so much for the tip gonna make my f150 a stock mod so things like this are very crucial🔥
This will work on my Trx4m Bronco (stock) correct? Also any other diy tips/tricks/upgrades for the Trx4m? There's not a lot of content on these little guys, but yours was awesome! New sub and like!
Thank you! I think it should work with the bronco shock mount too, I don’t see why it wouldn’t. I’d try to figure out what your driving style & base your build around that. I actually have the bronco stock mounts in the normal location in my k10 now. I need to make a video on my current setup bc I think it performs pretty amazing but still have more to do. I’m testing out having cut springs right now which I’m liking. Some of my first mods from stock would be 40.3.1 gears, beadlock wheels(brass front only), Treal rear axle weights with meus +4mm axle.
I did this mode to my K10 recently. What I've notice is that the front tires started to rub the shock springs when taking a full turn left or right. What I want to do now is to put 10mm hex from injora and trim a body a bit. it shoud provide enough roam for tires. Did you have a similar issue?
@@Poland_RC_Adventures I had 6mm hex on when I did this but it was to give the tires clearance from the steering knuckles. I didn’t have an issue with the front springs. I think I may have trimmed the body a little bit. I have since lowered my K10 & had to do a fair amount of trimming.
@@alanekmen8660 mine was close but didn’t hit. I spaced my wheels out +2mm at the time to get the front tires to not hit the steering knuckles. That maybe why mine did not hit, I didn’t think about that.
@@justjilly2150 pretty sure I used a 5/64 drill bit. It was the same diameter as the bolt. I can double check when I get home. I love this truck! As I figured out my driving style I have actually made mine more of a lcg/ belly dragger & don’t use this front mounting setup anymore.
@@ToppersRC yeah idk if it makes much of a difference flipping the shock towers but i did it and I can see a slight improvement but nothing like the c10 frame would show after flipping the shock towers
@@sualycrispinoficial3677 I just learned the Bronco & Defender frames are different. I originally thought they were the same. I still haven’t seen one in person so unfortunately I don’t have an answer right now. I’ll try to figure it out and let you know

If you think there’s not a lot of content on these you’re gravely mistaken 😂

You need to widen the stance, either extended axles or and added spacers.
Thank you for the hints. I will give a try with F150
Let me know how you like it.
Done exactly what you did but my front tires are rubbing the shocks when I'm fully turned. Do you have the same problem?

@@ToppersRC
Orderd 10mm hexes. Hope that will solve the problem.
@@alanekmen8660 that should definitely do it. Do you still have the stock axle length?
What drill bit did you use? Looks awesome. Got the same truck!

Has anyone done this with the 2speed transmission. It appears there isn't enough clearance from my observation.
@@schroeder288 I do not have the answer to that.
Very good mod

Thank you! Hopefully it helped.
That’s a really nice k10. What type of wheel are those.
Thank you! They are the black Traxxas beadlocks. Brass rings in the front & the SS bolt kit.
Very mods!!! Subbed!!!🤘🤘🤘
🤘thank you!

✌🏻👍🏻👍🏻
What brand are the wheels on the f150
They are the Traxxas Beadlocks
Coll mod. I may attempt this on my Defender. Thanks!
Let me know how you like it.
The defender doesn’t have the same frame but you can still flip the mounts backwards and get some angle on the front and rear
@@HOUSECAT47 Thank you for adding on, I didn't know the front of the frame is different on the Defender/ Bronco.
@@ToppersRC yeah idk if it makes much of a difference flipping the shock towers but i did it and I can see a slight improvement but nothing like the c10 frame would show after flipping the shock towers
thanks for sharing!
Anytime!
What tires are on the f150?
They are the Traxxas Mud Terrain.
Ima need a little more explanation for my bronco
