You have inspired me so ,much - I have always cooked homemade, ready-meals for my freezer, but you take it to a whole, new dimension! Last year I 'Kon-Mari'd' pretty much everywhere in my house, and this year I'll be 'Batch Ladying' my freezer! Thank you!

Well done. I can see you get the same buzz from batch cooking as I do. Love the feeling when I see my full freezer. Nice to hear your accent. I’m from Edinburgh but have lived in Australia for 14 years. Thanks for your great tips. Same protein source works a treat.

Came to you tube looking for slow cooker dump bags but these are fantastic also! After becoming bedridden 2.5 years ago my hubby had to very abruptly take my place as full time care giver to our children (one of whom has special needs) and of course me... the one thing he still struggles with is cooking home made meals with a very clingy child who won’t let him out of his sight. I’ve been looking for ways to make life/dinners easier on him and these are perfect and will be able to do them while the little one is in school! Thank you!

Love the video but would like it if you explained how to cook the items when you’re coming to use them. Do they all need to be defrosted first? How long and how you would cook them etc.

Love your video! I’m allergic to potato so what could I put in the fish chowder instead? I use mashed parsnip and celeriac on top of fish pie.

How much mash do you use per pie? I’d make my own rather than buying. Actually Husband would make it, he’s an excellent masher. I’d do the rest!

    • @TheBatchLady

I tend to use 600g of mash per pie, hope this helps! x

Recipes look but you should have left a link in your page that goes directly to the recipe, your pinterest link takes you to all your recipes but you have to try to figure out where these are.

Re the salmon and pesto parcels - Hi Suzanne, I cannot find frozen asparagus locally so could I use fresh in its place? If so, do I need to blanch or cook it first or can I put it straight in the foil parcels before freezing?

Carole G Hi Carole I have just watched this and have not seen frozen asparagus either. I, personally, would blanch it first. I have seen tinned asparagus but not sure how that would taste. Maybe need to experiment!

Wonderful concept & good tips! However, (no offense) the word whisker “okay” made it difficult to watch.
