The Gordie Howe International Bridge is located between Windsor, Ontario, Canada, and Detroit, Michigan, USA. It spans the Detroit River, connecting the two countries.
The bridge is named after Gordie Howe, a legendary Canadian hockey player who played for the Detroit Red Wings in the National Hockey League (NHL). Howe is widely regarded as one of the greatest hockey players of all time.
The total length of the Gordie Howe International Bridge, including approach spans, is approximately 2.5 kilometers (about 1.5 miles).

It's because in Canada we don't have your nice weather lol. Also they will delay this project as long as they can to keep this milk train running. They already got an extra year and a Billion dollars. There is a lot more where that came from.

In any case, I’m grateful that that Canadians paid for the entire bridge while the stupid Americans kept putting up roadblocks. It’s a wonder we ever get anything built anymore that is infrastructure.
