I just turned 40, and I feel that men my age think as if they can get 21 year olds. It's just not fair. 😞 They're aging too (and badly at that), women (especially the one ones) should go with someone THEIR age, not someone almost old enough to be their dad 😞!

Yes. Imbalance of effort. That’s how I felt, too. But in the end I told my BF of 6 years (but met 35 years ago) that I couldn’t be what he wanted and he couldn’t be what I wanted. Jonathan! Love watching your videos, i have learned a lot , before the penis go inside the vagina lol… I had tears in my eyes when I heart she is telling her experience,i really felt her emotions. I had exactly similar relationship, this was first relationship after my divorce, it took me a while to understand why I did that to myself, I am still doing therapy and it helped me to build my self esteem … I have learned accept myself and love it!
I did some questionable things after 7 year relationship broke up, took awhile to wise up that the guys out there are mostly jerks. Had my wild episode to prove I was still desirable, then regained my sanity. Don't beat yourself up , it's all part of the rebound process. At least we ( most women) get it over with and resume normalcy

Happy to see this beautiful woman do the right thing for her even though it’s difficult (courage). Men are hardwired from caveman times to conserve their energy (which looks like laziness) when they had to go out and hunt, which was often an arduous task. Until they find something they want to invest their energy, time, effort, labor, money into. (Leaving behind in this post that ‘something’ isn’t always healthy). Once I learned this about how men biologically and instinctively operate, I looked at actions way more than words. Granted, even the actions aren’t in alignment with what’s good for us (like a married man taking action to spend time with us for example) Overall though, it makes good sense to lean back with the man to ascertain his investments and not try to make it easy for him. I found it takes self talk when the instinct is to make it easier, to make the effort. Not only when first meeting, but while in relationship too. This is important not only to gauge his seriousness about us, but also where he lies on the ambition scale and if that works for you.

Also, they message me knowing that I live a bit further away, and I do try to date locally for that reason. I always get so much from watching your videos and hearing your perspective on dating and self love, but Johnathan, I still believe that the man has to make the first move. Do you disagree, after you had that poor woman on who went totally out of her way constantly to see that boyfriend?
I'll add my two cents worth. If he is any kind of a gentleman he will be accommodating and meet close to where you live. How far is the distance between you? It's not about value. It's manners.

I am in a long distance relationship too we do go back and forth taking turns but I have pets and can't go is often I have to get a pet sitter everytime I leave plus I'm not financially stable like he is my car is getting up there on miles and I'm on a fixed income he has 2 new vehicles with low Miles ...Is it fare to ask him to come here more ? I have and he gets mad and says I'm making excuses to not come there ..
