I think that the idea of poking at a wound would be great for the plaintiffs to use. He didn't kill the victims, but he and his followers poked at that wound for 10 years and continue to do so today. They've made the wound larger and prevented healing.

    • @fenrir7878

Didn't just poke the wound but created entirely new ones. These people, in addition to grieving their passed children, had to endure harassment, threats of violence, family breakdowns, they had MOVE. That's all wounds unto themselves beyond the initial one, which was deep.

Not knowing much about the law, I don't understand why Jones has not faced criminal charges as well as civil charges. It's pretty clear that he incited his followers to harass these families. I would assume that that sort of behavior is criminal.

@@tedschulze3503 Thank you Ted. You demonstrate the rabble mentality. Rather than appealing to the objective world for your meaning, that Jones didn't violate a criminal law and so couldn't be charged with a crime, but did violate civil crimes and could be held accountable, you drew your view of the world based on your own internal beliefs, separate from reality and, in as much as you find this satisfying enough to go no further, simply stop there. thank you for that example.

Alex Jones Spoke on Sandy Hook for about 24 mins when it first happened. He's not responsible for any of this. He has a Right to speak on news issues of the day just as anyone else has. The 1st amendment should protect all speech including and especially speech we don't like. This court has prevented free speech, when a Judge tells you point blank you may only answer Yes, No or I don't know, you are not sitting in an American court. This notion of restricting a persons speech in court or his ability to say "I'm innocent" has never been the case in any courtroom in all American history and it is un-American, regardless of what you think of Alex Jones.
Imagine your favorite podcaster or news reader sitting in a court room being told they can't speak freely or answer as they wish to? Ask yourself, is that what you would want at your own trial because this sets a Precedent in American law that is very scary for any citizen, something that has never happened and may change the way court cases work from now on. This is not about Sandy Hook or Alex Jones, it is about setting precedence to go after who ever they want to shut up!
Lastly, there is a Huge difference between the Pain caused by Adam Lansa shooting and killing these children and the pain caused by talking heads dredging it up or Alex Jones questioning the shooting after having School Safety Experts question it. Adam Lansa Caused the pain these parents feel but their lawyers made them aware of Alex Jones questioning the shooting in 2008 in order to bring him down in Lawfare. The parents were recovering by 2008 and trying to live their lives best as possible when these attack dog lawyers dredged up the past and refocused them to go after someone hardly anyone even listens to. America has 320 million people, only 8 million have even heard of Alex Jones and only 1-2million are regular listeners. Imagine if you questioned 9/11 or Israel attacking children in Palestine for throwing rocks or some other issue close to your heart on your youtube channel and then getting dragged into this kind of a court. Well that is now a possibility.

How is the court dishonest? If it’s because of what you have heard him yell ‘wasn’t given a chance to defend myself/silences/no jury trial’ then I suggest you actually look up why (because of alexjones/his lawyers teams) he was given a default after years of illegal actions/delays/lies/avoiding/sending of incorrect documents/refusing other documents… on Infowars side.

if you think as the majority does your part of the problem, people think they are the equals of others and they are not, 90% of people have achieved nothing of importance and have read nothing, yet their opinions are endless, you are not my equals, nor are you the equal of jones, you need to remember this.
