Plaintiffs’ Lawyer Urges Jury to Wipe Out Alex Jones’ Livelihood

- The lawyer for parents of a Sandy Hook victim urged the jury to return a verdict wiping out Alex Jones' livelihood and financial capabilities. "I ask that with your verdict you not only take Alex Jones' platform that he talks about away, I ask that you make certain he can't rebuild the platform," Wesley Ball said. "I hope that with your verdict he can go away."

Something tells me this is far from over...
It's not over.
The jury still needs to deliver on punitive damages.
The judge also has the option to find Jones in contempt, and imprison him for perjury.
He has another trial coming up in a few weeks (months?)
The Jan 6th committee is getting his phone records for the last 2 years.
The DOJ is likely going to want a copy of them, too.
So no, it's not over lol
@@ct5625 The judge can't put him in jail for perjury (it's not like contempt of court) but she can request he be charged. But perjury happens all the time in civil cases and it's rarely prosecuted.
@@janielunday5012 Exactly!!
@@rogersmith7808 this is a blatant example of it and concerned matters that were contained within discovery which makes it a big deal.
Oh this first trial is OVER. There's nothing for appeal. This one is DONE.
Cameras should always be inside of courtrooms. To many times we protect the criminal at the detriment of the victim. To include corporate court manipulation of the judicial system..
I’d say we also go the other way too often as well. We get so wrapped up in protecting and serving a “victim” that it can blind us to fairness and prevent us from viewing things objectively. But cameras always, for sure unless it is a direct risk to personal safety, but almost always, transparency is the better option.
The "Criminal" is oftentimes, the accused. And as accused, you are presumed innocent - we should not seek to tar and feather those who have yet to be found guilty of any crime.
In this case, however, Jones already lost the case on whether or not he defamed the parents. He failed to do his due diligence as a defendant and comply with discovery, so lost. He *is* guilty of defamation, therefore.. his rights to be seen as 'innocent' is no longer a factor. He's guilty.
@@AdeptPaladin I agree, but we should not allow facts to be blocked allowing real criminals to get away free when they are guilty, but evidence was blocked… I know it’s a fine balance. But lawyers will twist the laws in ways to just show “alternative facts “ or half truths…

@@thatdiyguyraymondmonk1225 Agreed. I just wanted to qualify the “always” to leave room for rare exceptions, also even if a face is blurred, there are some testimonies that should be private, like a 12 year old describing an assault etc. Rare cases though.

You can sue yourself
Well no one ever accused you of being intelligent
You can sue anyone for anything... But you'll only win if a law has been broken and you can prove it. Or if the defendant does what Jones did and chose to lose of course... 🤷
You're answer is right in your question. Nobody. Because you haven't been singled out and harassed by an individual intentionally and knowingly spreading lies about you.
You have to have deep state friends

What about the perjury send him to prison this guy should pay for such wickedness to make money
Exactly
This lawyer has a personal problem with Alex.
As does most people with a heart, with empathy.... 😐 Jones is a disgusting grifte r making money off dead kids and their surviving famonly for a decade. I hope after all the lawsuits and whatever else he is left not only penniless but deeply in debt for all his days.
Who doesn't? However, this lawyer, like most people, has a problem with Jones getting away with harassement and defamation. So yes, liquidate that MF.
You're probably right. All people should have a personal problem with Alex. Just because he didn't attack you or me in this way doesn't mean he wouldn't, if it made him money.
@@SassyShay7 If you would take the time to learn about whats going on in the world, and in our country, you wouldnt be saying that. Alex Jones is a visionary. He envisions a world where we dont have school shootings, or a FBI that doesnt engage in False Flags, and where the general public isnt sacrificed as a means to their end. To cover their crimes, and encapsulate society in a bubble of fear. Lazy people believe what MSM spills out, after reading a teleprompter, instead of looking for the TRUTH. Quit spreading lies, about an innocent man. Alex didnt kill those kids. Our government did, by giving that kid psychomeds, and guns, and pointing him toward the school.
He is advocating for his clients. That said I find jones despicable.
This Lawyer's speech is freaking magnificent...I'm almost in tears...
hhaaaaaahaah your funny
This lawyer is accusing Alex of exactly what this lawyer does every time he goes to work. I think this lawyer should go after CNN and see if his case would be any different.
Let see if that is translated into verdict. Because anything can happen

You shouldn't be able to ruin someone's life just because you don't like them.
Its 2022
Uh....tell that to the mainstream media
It’s not a question of liking the man or not, it’s a matter of making a liar pay for the lies he has said that ruined people’s lives. Jones made a living at telling lies. He thinks it’s funny, that he’s the king of the world. He knows he’s lying but it makes him richer and richer each day. It has to stop.
You shouldn't be able to make 100's of millions of dollars by peddling lies that hurt people.
You can't. But you can take them to court and hold them accountable just because they slander, defame, and lie on you cause you distress and wreak havoc on your life by doxing you and whipping up a gaggle of idiots to harass you and threaten to kill you. He ruined their lives wth his lies. Now go sit in the corner and shut up because this matter is above your intellectual spectrum of understanding.
To the Alex Jones fan boys... how do you feel about him convincing ya'll of lies that he didn't even believe to make tons of money of you guys , that he now has to pay to people you guys don't think lost their kids.... are you all still gonna support him.and make him rich so he can pay the parents the money they deserve
Don't forget about that crazy Alex Jones Fangirls.
Alex Jones is a hero. There is no proof. Only speculations. The lawyers showed edited clips. So whats your point you wanna make?
This lawyer is soooooo good. It’s ridiculous.
He is like a grown child, crying over a toy. He is chasing a check .... his opinions are pathetic.
So good looking too
@@soundlysouth2962 that would be your opinion that is pathetic
Yh you should have seen his push the parents away when they were speaking with AJ
@@obe1withtheforce785 I did. That’s what the lawyer (I wanna say barkman) should have done. They didn’t need to be harassed by AJ. AH was doing his pity me song and dance, after one of the mothers showed him some kindness by bringing him water. Typical shark AJ is, he saw it as a weak spot and went in. The lawyer did what is required in that situation. It was attractive as someone pointed out.
Now this I completely agree with
NEXT take CNN to court and close them DOWN
It turned my stomach when he shook the

Yes that’s exactly how the justice system works those who have more money get better representation and there are rewards for being a good prosecutor and a good defender injury attorneys also
Yeah… That’s this thing called legal representation and a percentage. Kind of how it all works…

Are they doing anything about the perjury on the stand and from the depo?
That's for the judge to decide after the jury decides on a punitive damage award. She may refer the matter to the DA. And the Jan6th Committee and the DOJ may get involved as well.
Everyone is in titled to their opinion. But for those who agree and side with Alex Jones. Ask yourself this question. If your children were murdered at school. How would you feel if he lied and said your children's death was a hoax ? Just saying.

because he and his counsel didn't comply with court orders (ie, producing discovery and other things) he was found liable for defamation. the jury was instructed to assume he is already guilty and the statements he made WERE defamatory. everything has been deemed legally defamatory so this trial is just for the jury to decide monetary payout for compensatory and punitive damages
