      Do you even have any idea of what your talking about? Why did Attorney Pattis ask to be removed?? 1 simple reason, his client wasnt communicating with anyone. It wasnt because he didnt want to take Jones as a client...it was because how can you represent someone if they arent communicating? He was exactly the Attorney Jones needed...and he proved it right here in the courtroom.

      @truthedministry Год назад +3

      @@philosaplease4867 You people keep saying that, but if it were true, then how did the Plaintiffs' lawyers present all the evidence that they did? The claim is that they didn't participate in discovery, yet the Plaintiffs have hours of video, depositions, documents, and emails that they entered as evidence to the court. I would disagree with, but could understand a liable verdict if the Defense had provided no evidence or insufficient evidence. Yet, the Plaintiffs were able to get more than just sufficient evidence to make their case, yet the judge declared that the Defense was liable still. If you look at other defamation cases, when evidence is requested during discovery, but not delivered, a default verdict isn't rendered, but rather the side requesting the information is allowed to presume that the evidence would have been damaging to their opponents and even inform the jury of this.
      Compound that with the, continuous: "Objection" "Sustained", and it is clear this judge is not impartial. She is practically interrupting the Plaintiffs' lawyer to sustain his objections. On top of that, she told Pattis that he was not allowed to talk about what the Plaintiffs were going to argue in their closing statement, WTF? You can watch dozens if not hundreds of criminal and civil court cases and lawyers make these types of remarks all the time without the judge interrupting them on behalf of their opposition. Depp vs. Heard was a defamation case with damages, and both sides were able to talk about their oppositions closing remarks in the same manner that Pattis tried to here. This judge is clearly working for/with the Plaintiffs rather than be the impartial arbiter that her job demands.
      For the record, I think Jones would be found liable of damages and that the families would be awarded several millions of dollars if this case were above board. My problem is that very little of this trial has been proper and/or operated like any other civil case. There are so many instances of this case being treated specifically to favor the Plaintiffs at the expense of the Defense. That sort of behavior jeopardizes the entire system, but the Plaintiffs and the judge both seem to think that they had a weak case and needed to do everything to make sure Jones lost. So much so, that they were willing to break or ignore the law, revoke fundamental Rights guaranteed under the Bill of Rights, and otherwise restrict the Defense to the benefit of the Plaintiffs. There were numerous instances of the judge making a ruling that prevented the Defense from bringing specific topics up or discussing them, only to have the Plaintiffs then address those same topics to the detriment of the Defense. And the judge just let them do it.
      If this were in the NFL, that would be like the referee throwing a flag every time the Packers sacked the Steelers' quarterback, citing "unnecessary roughness", but then watching the Steelers tackle the Packers' quarterback and then kick him several times in the head without saying a word. Oh, and then every once in a while, the referee will run onto the field and kick the Packers' quarterback in the thigh, just for good measure. You would be over there saying the Packers deserved it because the referee said they failed to call which side of the coin for the coin toss before the game started.

      @@zaphodisgod This is a damages case where the jury is only allowed to decide how much Jones and his company pays the Plaintiff... and it is improper to point that out? If the Plaintiffs' closing argument isn't about the cha-ching cha-ching, what have they been doing this entire time? And you are right, I haven't seen it yet, but I presume that the Plaintiffs's lawyer will argue that the defense only cares about getting the smallest monetary punishment allowed and the judge will say nothing.
      For the record, I think that if this case were to be run 100% fair and impartial, Jones and his company would have been found liable and likely end up being responsible for several millions of dollars in damages. That's simply because of who the Plaintiffs are and where it is being held; he didn't have a chance. But, with how this entire trial has been rigged and so improperly run, I am just baffled that anyone thinks any of this will not get just demolished on appeal. I will be shocked and amazed if this judge and those lawyers are able to retain their jobs and licenses after this mockery of justice.

    Alex Jones Spoke on Sandy Hook for about 24 mins when it first happened. He's not responsible for any of this. He has a Right to speak on news issues of the day just as anyone else has. The 1st amendment should protect all speech including and especially speech we don't like. This court has prevented free speech, when a Judge tells you point blank you may only answer Yes, No or I don't know, you are not sitting in an American court. This notion of restricting a persons speech in court or his ability to say "I'm innocent" has never been the case in any courtroom in all American history and it is un-American, regardless of what you think of Alex Jones.
    Imagine your favorite podcaster or news reader sitting in a court room being told they can't speak freely or answer as they wish to? Ask yourself, is that what you would want at your own trial because this sets a Precedent in American law that is very scary for any citizen, something that has never happened and may change the way court cases work from now on. This is not about Sandy Hook or Alex Jones, it is about setting precedence to go after who ever they want to shut up!
    Lastly, there is a Huge difference between the Pain caused by Adam Lansa shooting and killing these children and the pain caused by talking heads dredging it up or Alex Jones questioning the shooting after having School Safety Experts question it. Adam Lansa Caused the pain these parents feel but their lawyers made them aware of Alex Jones questioning the shooting in 2008 in order to bring him down in Lawfare. The parents were recovering by 2008 and trying to live their lives best as possible when these attack dog lawyers dredged up the past and refocused them to go after someone hardly anyone even listens to. America has 320 million people, only 8 million have even heard of Alex Jones and only 1-2million are regular listeners. Imagine if you questioned 9/11 or Israel attacking children in Palestine for throwing rocks or some other issue close to your heart on your youtube channel and then getting dragged into this kind of a court. Well that is now a possibility.
