They were separated at that moment, with everyone obviously tense, and ended up with some shouting of words between plaintiff's attorney and Alex Jones..

And Alex Jones didn't mean one word of what he said and was right back at it without skipping a beat. He's a fraud and he's mentally unstable!

@@chrisgandolfo2844 If anything it was a wake up for him that sandy hook was real. I always liked Alex but it did strike a huge nerve when he claimed sandy hook was faked. I know that my feelings don’t matter when it comes to free speech but also when speech affects the health of a nation to the point of risking the future of the integrity of the nation it may not be free speech anymore. At some point it’s a call to action.
I have no clue how Jones could morally bring himself to lie and profit off of kids being killed. I can't imagine being a parent already dealing with an unfathomable amount of grief and seeing a man is calling you an actor. Jones knew exactly what he was doing, he knew some people would believe him, yet he did it anyway. That is insanely cruel and heartless. I hope the families feel better after the trial. My heart goes out to them. I can't imagine what they've been through.

I’m glad they’re doing good things with this organization. All too often I hear about these charities being formed by parents of children in tragedies, but nothing really ever comes of them.
@@Laura01 as somebody who sits on 2 nonprofit boards of directors, they're usually small and can only do so much. She's lucky in that her "product" can be shared for free online. There's overwhelming changes that have been made by these parents, even if it's a scholarship fund or a small state level legal change, etc. I'm in awe of them bc in this case, I'd be in prison. No way some guy calls my deceased child fake. My rage would consume me.

Jesse's mom testimony was so powerful, especially when she was talking about the Choose Love movement and was talking directly to Alex Jones, basically told him that she wanted them to work together instead of work against each other. "You feel pain...I know that you do, I certainly have."

Though should people bring a case of defamation, when there was no direct defamation (? ) The commentary AJ made were in general to directed personally. So, they are claiming he inspired others to harass the parents, which is not defamation. So the whole thing seems bizarre.
So, someone's hurt feelings should be worth millions now ? The action of followers of any religion, flag, sports fans, when they behave insanely, is not their fault.
It sounds so bad but as a mother of kids in Connecticut schools, her son losing his life as no doubt saved the lives of many children in my state due to all the work these parents have put into gun laws here. We haven't had school shootings since like in many other states and these parents are why. My son was in kindergarten at the time of the shooting and I just want to thank these parents for helping to protect my children.

You and them are all weak arguably pathetic given the actual matters going on in the world, and no the parents do not have a right to a free pay day because people talked about their kid which was fixed no actual effects of defamation. Being weak minded is not an excuse to claim money from work they did not do. However to be fair since normal average people earn 1million in a lifetime given the job market and the total cost of raising a child is around 264,000 dollars, the parents at maximum should be able to claim 300k or 1M over the course of time that is fair, not a direct all at once sum.

When you die you able to see anyone's paper saying our dead that's free info to the public. Why would they block it when they never blocked any other shooting at that point ? Years ago, I was representing a man accused of a home invasion robbery and the twelve-year old witness was testifying about how my client grabbed her in the kitchen and held a gun to her head. I looked up at the judge and he was staring at my client with complete contempt. I couldn't blame him.

To those who think this judge is biased against Jones and his team, I ask you, please start at day 1 of this trial and tell me how many times you see the defense council or Alex himself have blatantly ignored her orders. They violated “the rule” when it was invoked within day 2 or 3 by Owen and Alex being together and discussing this ON AIR! Then take this video for example, she explains the rules of testimony PRIOR to him uttering his first word one he was sworn and within 5 minutes in he AND his team already were violating them and had to be admonished! Take that into account of the entirety of this trial. Is she REALLY being biased or are they perhaps blatantly disregarding her ruling and the rulings of the court?
AJ is a strong representation of the absolute worst of humanity. Willing to do and say anything, no matter how much harm it causes....for money. In this case the harm was focused at grieving families that just lost their kids in the most horrendous way. He's a monster.

When a grieving witness is testifying , it’s prudent to show compassion, they are not on trial, when a party in the case is not following the rules they must be shut down in the name of justice for lots of reasons; like rules, expediency, appeals.

When a witness is asked questions, they are required to state what they know or believe to be true. That is the oath they take, "the truth, the whole truth, and nothing, but the truth." As such, a witness cannot state something they don't know or believe. How then can Alex Jones testify when this judge has specifically told him that he when he is telling the truth as he knows and/or believes it, that it is a lie? What is the purpose of witness testimony if not to have them give the truth from their own perspective? I hope Mr. Jones simply just starts asking the judge to testify on his behalf as she clearly knows and believes what is the actual truth, whereas he knows and believes only lies according to her.

THIS SPEAKS VOLUMES! These lawyers care ONLY about MONEY !! They didn't want to risk the parents and Alex making up, because the lawyers want their BIG PAYDAY once this is over! They most likely take a % out of the whole sum, instead of a fixed sum - so bigger the number bigger their payment. They don't care about the humans involved and the possibility of them making up and letting this case go.

It is definitely not a foundational rule that do not eat or chew gum in a courtroom. Chewing gum in the courtroom doesn't stop the anyone from getting to the substance being discussed in this case. Her blatant disregard of laws and actual rules that the court must follow does hinder the actual substance of the case. She is more concerned about chewing gum and eating in the court than she is about providing a fair and impartial trial.
