- First off, happy new year to everyone, 2017 is going to be a great year!
Secondly, CHANNEL CHANGES:
Right so to put it as simple as I can, I got myself a job at Plymouth City Bus shunting buses around the depot after they have been cleaned, I also clean them, sounds great right? However, due to company policy I have had to take every single video I have featuring any activity of any kind from Plymouth City Bus so I am deeply sorry but it had to be done, there's always a way round it though so keep an eye out ;-)
And thirdly the video you just watched or are about to watch...this is DT10, by far one of the quickest off the line Tridents in the Dublin Bus fleet, as you can see as soon as the mighty 8.3 Litre Cummins ISC reaches it's peak of the powerband, the 11+ tonne bus shoots off and reaches the speed limit in seconds! Ironically the driver kept pressing the kickdown button as soon as the ISC engine reached its peak of the powerband which I found interesting. I do have to say however that I was a little frustrated whilst filming this video as the driver kept lifting off the accelerator in pretty much every kickdown in this video, but hey at the end of the day it still made for a pretty decent video! You'll notice aswell that this video was shot only two days before I shot DT7
It's great to be back but there will be limited content from now on, from THIS channel...like I said keep an eye out ;-)

TheIrish RoadSurfer sadly these buses have just finished their service life with Dublin Bus. Loving the videos. Linda the female Dublin transport nut :-)
Happy new year! Good vid. I like how the driver is using kickdown and reaching 5th gear at Waterloo Road/Baggot Street which are really urban, that is really impressive! You must have had that grey haired (vague description..) driver!

I actually had that mad fucker of a driver with brownish hair and those black tinted glasses, rectangular shaped lenses, that's as descriptive as I could get! TheIrish RoadSurfer It's sad that you had to take down all the PCB vids as well. But since you changed your name to the Irish Road Surfer, I think it would be weird to see a RUclipsr with an Irish theme to be filming Plymouth buses. But I hope to see some decent vids this year.
It is sad my friend but you're right, an Irish named channel should feature Irish vehicles, so that's how it will be from now on, with the odd shunting videos from time to time, PCB won't mind me uploading videos of my driving their buses at 10mph around the depot
