Failing a driving test doesn’t make you a bad driver and practicing a lot doesn’t guarantee you of passing the test. I learned this the hard way. When my family moved to the U.S., I took my driving test without any lessons and failed twice. Practicing with my mom, who yelled at every mistake, only made things worse. After two more failed attempts, I almost gave up. On my fifth try, I had a kind instructor who, despite being new, noted mistakes I felt were minor. When I failed again, I shared my frustrations, and she recommended a private DMV attorney. With their help, I got a provisional letter and finally got my license without retaking the test. It's a journey that taught me resilience and the importance of support along the way. Wish I watched these RUclips videos sooner.
This is so inspiring! I’m about to take my third test and I’m really nervous. I’ve been practicing a lot, but I still feel unsure. How did you stay motivated after so many fails?
I can totally relate to the instructor situation. My last one was super angry looking woman and it made me even more anxious, I’m considering asking fit your help on how you contacted the attorney that helped you. Any help?

Thank you i just passed my driving test on my 2nd try, watch your videos troughout my learning experience and i want to thank you! And to everyone who failed never give up relax and you can make it.
Thank you for these! I've watched about 100 of your mock lessons! But none of them ever have heavy traffic or build up of vehicles on a roundabout or manor hazards, which is where most of us struggle to handle in a passable way on the test day. In London for example I would expect people to jump in front of the car unexpectedly, or lorrys to cut across a junction blocking the way after you had started crossing it. There aren't many tutorials on how ti react to these split-second hazards in a way that won't fail you

@@Angelina-bx5ry it was crazy, in my mind i just made myself think it was another lesson but it was so hard to do lmao. Before my test i had a 1 hour lesson with my instructor and i made a big mistake at a roundabout because apprently i came out to quick so my instructor had to take over the controls and stopped the car, and then said you can move off now, so from what just happened i was in the mindset that there was no way i could pass and that im still far behind everyone else, even though i have had plenty of lessons prior to this, anyway then came the actual test, i was nervous as hell, (also just a side note - my instructor left the heating on in the car and did not turn it off so while i was stressing on my test, me and the examiner were being boiled alive, and on the middle of the test she had to open the window a bit, me the dummy i am did nothing and kept going LOL,) anyway, i started the test, not feeling that bad, until i realised after 10-20 minutes of driving that im forgetting to do some basic things on my test, like look at my mirrors and signalling and going at the correct speed, so im making stupid mistakes but im picking up on them late, so i am panicking as soon as i made the first mistake and questioning if it was a serious fault or not, so in my mind im like i definetly failed, im going to have to book another test and waste money on more lessons, (i say waste money because the amount of drivers ive seen on the roads, i dont know how they passed ) anyway im feeling pretty pessimistic, so i treat the test as if i failed and just accept it and just go through the lesson doing my best, btw i forgot to mention, the examiner told me to do a parrelel park, i dont know how other learners do it but i was taught to put the left door mirror down so i can see the curb, although I FORGOT TO DO THIS LMAO, so i didnt want to put it down when i was half way in so i had to rely on instinct and judgment and did it without the convient left door mirror, at this point i was thinking, could i do any worser lmao, anyway after 40 mins in my own personal hell, we drive in the test centre and she tells me i passed, i couldnt process what she said, it felt undreal, like a dream, anyway, i told my mom and my sister and they tell everyone else lol, and everyone is happy, although it still hadnt/hasnt hit me yet, as im typing this, i still dont feel like i passed lol. What i learnt from it was just do what you can, what your taught, you make a mistake so be it, if i failed yesterday i would have book it again, if i failed 2nd i would have booked it again, even though each time id have the test i would feel nervous and annoyed i hadnt passed i would never give up as this is something that i need to get through, im definetly lucky i passed first time, but also not aswell if that makes any sense, as my instinct and judgment is what made me pass with only 8 minors, i say only but its still bad i guess as opposed no minors lol :D, anywho i dont care what people think if i hadnt passed first time, theres so many variables that can happen, so my advice for you is dont give up, i know it will suck if you dont pass but dont worry, keep enduring and prevailing, and just keep practicing, (another side note - if you keep practicing you can still fail, due to nerves) so treat it like a lesson, do as much mock tests as you can, make sure your in the right lane, and check your centre and left mirro when exiting the round about, (i find this is what most leanrer forget) ofcourse practice the 4 manovers, and the emergency stop, and just good luck, i hope you pass, but if not, dont worry, those 8 minors that i got could easily turn into serious faults, so dont compare yourself to to other people and just try your best, i was calm and collected on the outside which is prob another reason why i passed, im guilty of overthinking some times but its something i overcame. Anyway im rambling on a lot XD, i hope some of this helped, let me know how it goes. Sorry if i dont respond as i added this vid to watch later and for some reason yt didnt notify me lol. Anyway, good luck nonetheless and oh yes i forgot to add lol, watch a few mock tests on yt as this also helped me from other peoples mistakes. i find this channel useful and conquer driving as well, there are a few others but i cant remember their names lol, im sure you will find a vid where they collab or something haha. anyway take care, stay safe, and never give up.
@Matthew J go over as many mock tests as you can with your instructor, any serious faults u get is great because it gives you time to prepare for it, u need to go over as much possible test routes as possible. and yes your going to be nervous, that is inevitable, treat it like a another lesson as best you can, don't weigh the pros and cons if you pass or fail in your mind, as this just distracted me. Just concentrate, if you pass then that's great, if you fail, then also great because u know what u need to work on. btw don't hesistate on a junction/roundabout, if you see a clear gap and you decide to go, COMMIT TO IT. So that means don't just go waltzing in slow. Pick up the pace so you don't cause a collision. That dosent mean to just speed in either. So practice with your instructor. Also always check your centre and left door mirror when moving off a round about. (don't forget to signal) Make sure your speed is in line with the speed limit. (I had some doubts whether the speed changed or not😅, one of my minors were I needed to drive a bit more fast and keep the speed going because mine dropped down) Also for narrow roads with parked cars on either side and oncoming traffic is coming, always slow down, don't go in 30mph lol. don't put too much pressure on yourself even though your going to lol and as I said in my previous message don't rush. take it easy. If you fail, don't give up. Yes I passed first time, and I am really happy I did, but I think luck/instinct/practice had their roles in passing. If I were to do it again I could easily fail. So just make sure your not causing harm to other drivers. DONT FORGET TO CHECK MIRRORS AND BLINDSPOTS, even if you make a mistake don't panic, keep it in mind from then on. Don't tell a lot of people even though I did cas I'm an idiot, and I just put pressure on myself 🤣) Be safe. Don't risk situations if you don't think it is safe. It's better to wait for cars then just risk getting to the destination 2 mins quicker. And keep watching vids on yt, especially mock tests. Other drivers mistakes are your gain. so LEARN FROM IT. I hope this helped. Good luck 😄
@@Angelina-bx5ry I passed mine 2 days ago it wasn't to bad I was a little bit nervous you should be fine just don't let the nerves get the better of you good luck on your test

A huge congratulations to everyone who has passed recently! Anyway I have no idea why I watched this when I passed my test back in august 😂 I just found it really interesting. Love your videos ❤ x
Thank you for watching the channel, you are part of the DGN Alumni
Literally same😂 i passed over a year ago and i still watch these videos
Same here, I passed 6 years ago but haven't driven too much because I had uni soon after and then haven't driven much in the last 3 years because of lockdowns and just staying at home working. Watching these videos helps
My husband passed his driving 13 years back .Still he watch his video..when I asked why you watching because I need to watch and learn you are already experienced ,he replied I love to watched their small small technic 🥰🥰
Same I passed in April 🤣
Passed on November 2022 (aged 36!) with no minors. The key is a great instructor who can help you manage nerves as well as teaching you to drive. I passed on my second attempt (with 0 minors). My first attempt (again with no minors) was a fail due to a silly mistake I made via my nerves. Good luck to everyone who is taking their test, it really does change your life.

My test is on the 11th, had a mock test today with my instructor and ‘passed’ with 2 minors. Watching your videos have been great revision making sure I know the routines going into junctions, roundabouts etc. Keep up the good work Pin!

I passed my test on 11th May with no mistakes. I used to watch your videos and this is one of the most useful videos 😊just before test day. Thank you.
Thanks to your informative and engaging videos, I successfully passed my driving test yesterday (aged 41 ) 😊. Your Ultimate Driving Course was an absolute game-changer for me. It provided me with the knowledge, confidence, and skills I needed to pass my test. I genuinely believe that your channel is the best driving resource out there. Your tutorial videos helped me enormously throughout my driving journey. Your passion for teaching is evident in every video. I have benefited from your tutorials so much. Your RUclips channel is a true gem, and I am forever grateful to have discovered it. I will continue to recommend your content to everyone I know who is learning to drive.
Had my test today and I passed with 6 minors. I went in like fuck I’m gonna fail I don’t feel confident!! After failing back a couple months ago but on my second attempt I passed. Thanks to this channel I was watching religiously. Thank you ❤️

inspirational!
Wawww, yes his videos has helped me to pass theory test as well, now I prepare for the practical one.
Wow 👌 well done and congratulations
Did you learn with a family member? How much did u spend on insurance during the time learning?
That’s a lie because you have to have lessons with an instruction to take their car to the test. Don’t encourage such a dangerous thing as not taking lessons and learning road safety properly!
Hello sir, I have passed my test a couple of days ago. I watched some videos, especially this one which gave me confidence and clear my doubts. Im thankfull to you and recommend to others to watch the videos. You are doing a really great job to help others. Thanks again.
I just passed a few days ago with only 2 minors. It was my second try with my first one having 2 serious faults. These videos defo helped alot. Its the best feeling once u pass
Congrats man, don’t suppose you would have any advice on passing the test? Got mine in 1 week and am shitting bricks
@@Bathykolpian I’d suggest talking to yourself as you drive constantly reminding yourself to drive safe. Take it as if it’s normal driving lesson. First 4 mins is abit intimidating but after that you’ll be fine.
@Lisa McAuley Failed with 1 serious and 2 minors, was too impatient at a junction and sorta cut someone off. Should be an easy retry though.
Thanks Mate, Passed my test with 3 minors...All your videos have been a great help..You rock

My test was today also and I passed !
There aren't many tutorials on how ti react to these split-second hazards in a way that won't fail you
Passed my driving test today on my first take Alhamdulillah. Your video helped me a lot. Thanks a lot. Keep doing good work.
I recently came across your channel I I honestly enjoy watching I've learnt so much...I'm currently on my 8th lesson and I feel more confident the more I watch your videos 🙂 Thank you and Good luck to everyone taking lessons

Was it super hard? And congratulations! I’m taking mine in 5 days I’m super nervous
Anyway, good luck nonetheless and oh yes i forgot to add lol, watch a few mock tests on yt as this also helped me from other peoples mistakes. i find this channel useful and conquer driving as well, there are a few others but i cant remember their names lol, im sure you will find a vid where they collab or something haha. anyway take care, stay safe, and never give up.
i got my test on the 19th do you have any tips?

As an actual driver who passed many years ago the biggest issue I see is that new drivers do not know how to drive and slow everyone down why don't driving instructors actually learn them how to drive not just the basics of driving it's so annoying
