Speaking as a retired driving instructer of many years, I could not witness this video without praising this young mans natural ability, not to mention the good work clearly done by his dad. A pleasure to watch.
i religiously watched these videos as well as clearview driving and and danny’s driving school before my driving test and you don’t realise how much extra information you take in, i managed to pass first time with 4 minors on my birthday last year and since then its given me all the freedom i’ve wished for so please to all the learners don’t give up keep practicing revising and you’ll get there🤝👍🏻
With 0 driving lessons he is still really good, he just needs slight improvements but he is definitely better than most full licensed drivers i can't wait to see him pass his test.

Hi DGN, forgot to mention I had a couple lessons with my dad, never had an instructor, but watched your videos. With all of those things, I was able to pass last September. Your videos alone are enough to pass!! Leant awareness on the road from dad. Was so happy and glad to know it is possible if you or or your family does not have the money.
All because someone forgot to put some white paint on the lane markings. The driving test is heavily flawed, you fail for such stupid reasons when after you pass the test it's not an issue

I passed my test 2 days ago. Pretend you are driving normally and ignore the fact you are In a test. Enjoy the drive it goes so quick anyway. Remember Examiners WANT you to pass. They don’t want you to fail. That’s why they help even on the test
Don't know where you are from, but in Hungary, there are a lot of examinors who make you fail on purpose, just so they will have more exams = more money in the long run. There are also looooooot of corrupt ones as well, who will make you pass if you toss about 4-5 driving lesson's fee into their pocket, otherwise they make you fail at the first point where you make a mistake.
I passed my test with 0 lessons obviously had like 15 hours in my own car but that was mainly down to your videos which I can't thank you enough been driving 3 years now

I passed my driving test with zero lessons, I got tired of trying to get lessons, so borrowed my mates car and passed first time. I did have a full motorcycle licence however. I self taught myself to drive in my Reliant Robin, learning as i drove to an MOT. Combined with watching some of your videos on checks ETC and driving a 3 wheeler for 3 years I passed last month.
I watched videos like these although i am from Norway (your roads, intersections etc truly suck btw ) and passed on Automatic gear first try 2 years ago. Now i have to take a few lessons on Manual gear, great to review these videos and actually pay attention to gear, clutch, revs etc.
I'm not from the UK, but I've watched so many of these videos before I took my road test, I failed the first time, but with the little feedback I got from my instructor and results (what I got points off for) I was able to improve those things and do better the second time which I passed!
Im 15 and i started learning 2 weeks ago with my parents because i love cars, before starting i watched probably over 30 theory videos on every part of driving for starters and when the day came i got used to eveything in one lap, i couldnt believe how easy it was to drive a manual but that day i thought i was smooth but the the last try a few days ago i was a pro 😂 my mom could not believe her eyes how good i was driving. So all it takes is love for learning what you want to learn and repeating. Its still just my 4th try and im already smooth with starting, shifting gears, speding up, reducing speed shifting down, steering on corners, stopping, reversing is the only thing i need to work on more but for a 4th time trying i also did reversing very well.
@@RoxusRemo there is an old RAF (royal air force) road that was used for planes to land there but its abandoned now and its very straight and also has some corners, its perfect for learning because no one drives there.

To be fair, UK roads are horrible I’m not sure what the go was with the roads being very tight and small. It scares me… I thought roads here in Australia were just as small and awkward to manoeuvre around. But hey, props to this bloke!
They are small because they have mainly been here since horse and carriage days and its a bit rude to demolish peoples houses down etc to make them larger lol. They arent too bad in major cities or motorways etc. But everywhere else yeah they are kinda terrible lol
I did this and did a few months of driving with my dad did a quick 2 hour lesson with instructor and passed first time, some people just find this stuff easy. Also glad cause it saved so much moneh
0 lessons but 85 hours with Dad .Good drive but i hope it doesnt mislead people into thinking it's very easy. The lad had some natural ability which does help any student. A lot of students nerves is the problem and dad generally doesn't help that if there own nervousness gets through to the learner it can be disastrous . So many students come to lessons after trying with family. It works for some and i have respect for parents that can teach calmly
I think this is how to do it. Plenty of practice and teaching from parents means you learn to drive. Then use an instructor to learn how to pass the test.
I'm 31, never drove in my life, just applied for my provisional licence, and will now be booking a driving lesson. But I think I will do it with automatic as cars seem to be going more that way for the future.
@Agn0sticThe1st Poor jobs are the only jobs that require a driving license???? I work for a tech company and you cannot be employed without a driving license as its required to visits customers to set up systems, and believe me its not a "poor job that begs me to have a manual license".
@@liamhull alot of company cars to be fair are automatic or electric nowadays so I'm not too sure how much this would limit said job opportunities I also decided to learn in a automatic because of personal issues and automatic would be alot more easier for me. Besides its way more comfortable to drive and enjoyable. If I thought my choice of driving transmission would have a major impact on my life I would of changed to manual.
@cameronstarkey3165 True the world is going towards autonatic cars, but why take that risk at this moment in time. Just learn to drive manual it's not that hard, then if a job does require a driving license you have all bases covered. I'm from Europe so automatic cars are not as popular like in America, even though that's slowly changing.
It always concerns me when learners don’t take lessons with an instructor. This lad is good at driving the car but he struggles following signposts by the looks of things and his manoeuvre for parallel park was not the best. I hope this lad still takes some professional lessons as it’s a different ball game once your driving independently
I actually failed for going the wrong way. I ended up in the wrong lane on a roundabout , remembered that everyone says just stick to that lane, did exactly that. That lane would’ve taken on the motorway, that’s why I failed.
That roundabout where he turned left in the middle lane, I know it very well. Why is it a serious fault when you're not causing any danger to anyone as the left lane has a filter anyway so you're not cutting anyone up or anything
The lane he was in, simply isn't marked to go that direction. You cannot make a turn, if the lane you're in isn't marked to the direction you're going. That's why it's a serious fault.

@@lukefleming0607 You do not need to cause danger for something to be marked as a serious fault. The level of a 'serious fault' would be response to traffic signs / markings, lane discipline such as this - Meaning that the nature of a driving fault like this could have resulted in a bad outcome because the correct procedure was not followed. A dangerous fault would be something an examiner would have verbal or physical intervention on. All of my pupils would have failed their mock test on this same fault, and I do not know of any instructor / examiner who wouldn't do the same.
@paulhardy6165 where do people stand on a serious fault then if for example that left filter lane was to be closed for any reason but the lane still open, would they say you're not allowed to turn left in that case?

I’m not trying to discredit the guy, he is a pretty good driver, but I don’t see why people are so impressed he is this good without any lessons from an instructor. I passed my drivers test with only doing practice with my parents.
Sorry but this 'serious' fault at the roundabout was really not that serious, it was a fault and should have been marked as one. However, he missed his turning and didn't dangerously decide to change lines nor panic, which many experienced drivers can not say they've done. We have all missed a turning before, but also if we were driving somewhere unfamiliar a satnav of some sort would be in use, so i really don't think its a real life scenario and was really unafair.
its very possible, I personnaly passed first try with 0 driving lessons, only learned with my father sitting next to me. Everything is possible to those who are in Christ. Repent and believe in Jesus, He is coming back soon!

Good lad, I passed my test without any lessons from a driving instructor, 2 weeks of driving every day with my grandad got me through my test.
In Germany you must drive with a driver instructor. Driving without an instructor on public road, you will get hard punishes

i passed my driving test in 6 months of learning with my dad with 0 formal lessons. only used youtube videos and the ultimate driving course
i didnt have a instructor just drove with my mom and passed first try just passed and got my license 3 days ago and just got a 2012 nissan murano

I am in a similar situation I have just used your course and around 6hrs with my dad and I passed my test 1st time 1 minor

Sorry but this 'serious' fault at the roundabout was really not that serious, it was a fault and should have been marked as one. However, he missed his turning and didn't dangerously decide to change lines nor panic, which many experienced drivers can not say they've done. We have all missed a turning before, but also if we were driving somewhere unfamiliar a satnav of some sort would be in use, so i really don't think its a real life scenario and was really unafair.
