I like how confident his driving is. The few errors that he did make he was mostly aware of and such errors can be ironed out easily before his test. Well done

@@slubg1605not by choice, I’ve been checking daily for closer tests but realistically to find a cancellation I’d need to be checking every 15 minutes or so, anybody booking a test now has a 6 month wait unless they get lucky and find a cancellation
@@GODS_AK007 Wow, In Finland it's like 1 month max. Could probably book one within a week, especially during winter. Do you have to wait for 6 months again if you were to fail?

Welcome to the Passed but still here Club, I've only been here for a month, I've only driven on my own three times, two of which I got too scared 5 minutes after leaving and turned right back around to go home lmao, but since I'm passed the test I want to stay a good driver and not forget anything or get bad habits, so I'll probably keep watching these videos

This video shows exactly the minor common mistakes most people make and could make you fail (if your examinator has a bad day) so it's very useful to know them now before your test so you have an even higher chance of passing
I’m at driving school in Japan right now - the system is totally different (3x theory tests!) but had these on while revising as well as for a bit of nostalgia seeing UK roads again. Just passed my (first) theory/driving test yesterday!

yep if you build up enough speed, you can skip gears.
@@Isobel201 going from first to third like that isn't good if your doing it constantly... ive never had to do that even in my little old 207.
@@iFROS7 Depends on the road, you can get away with it if its downhill. You can also immediately start in second gear for the same reason, especially if its steep.

This guy is just so cool to be around, he seems like a very likeable guy, if i met him in a pub or something i would definitely buy him a beer, he is definitely not a bad driver, i've seen worse, there is just some habits he needs to work on.

I failed my test yesterday bcs of one serious fault I made, driving on big puddle and made a big splash
I was really gutted that I failed bcs of that 😅
It was raining quite heavy before my test so there was a lot of puddle when I was driving during my test and I completely forgot to be more aware of the puddles

@ik8445 maybe the puddle was quite big, it made a big splash, even though there wasn't any pedestrians pavement on the left & right, I still can't believe I failed bcs of that
My instructor said it was probably bcs it could be quite dangerous driving over a puddle as you could loose your steering control, you don't know how deep the pothole underneath

Even though he failed cause of minors, I can't see him not passing the actually driving test
I swear I hear people say they have had a couple hours driving and think they can pass and there's me had like 60 70 hours and am still concerned I might fail. 😅😅
I passed after 8 hours with 2 minors, some people just learn differently

that's the first time I see someone fail with too many minors, never not take minors seriously, they are just as important to brush up

2:20 considering junctions is where learners fail most, learner did well in junction observations and being patient for slightly over two minutes in this.

What are you on about? When I was learning I nearly hit people and missed stop signs, now I've passed I'm much more aware and skilled.

Many years ago on my test, the examiner asked me to read a numberplate from a certain distance away. Is this still part of the current driving test?
You get asked before your test, outside the test centre, to read a number plate from a distance.
@ DGN Diving, at 2:30 where Jake waited for two minutes before he could find what he thought is a safe gap to emerge out of the Junction, how about if multiple cars ended up forming a queue behind him, would that have resulted in a serious fault?
no because if he had emerged he would have likely still caused a car to brake resulting in a serious
It's irrelevant. You must NEVER drive dangerously just becaus people are queueing up behind you.
