I HAD To Take Control | 5 Serious Faults on Her First Mock Test
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 8 мар 2022
- This is Sara’s first mock test. Her driving test was 2 weeks after this mock test. Sara was driving in a new car in a new area!
She generally had good control over her vehicle but sometimes drives a little too fast on narrow roads. Sara made a lot of mistakes during this mock test but she was a lot more aware of how to continue to improve her driving leading upto there real driving test

How to drive safely. How to pass
This video is filmed during a driving lesson. It is filmed for educational purposes.
Throughout the video there are highlights to show how you should be driving safely.
I hope this video will be useful! :)

Sara passed her driving test FIRST time with just 4 minors! 😊😁
Sara needs to improve, hopefully she does without incident.
Well done
Glad this practice helped! :)
Please warn me when Sara's on the roads, I'll stay at home lol
@@theaccountant8043 LMAO bruh
As someone from a country that drives on the right side of the road, this made me feel really anxious.
Saaaame hahahah the roads there are so wierd wtf
@@luumisia you know 76 countries drive on the left right? 😂
And 163 drive on the right 😭? What’s your point
@@Orachrlotte that it's not only 1 country that does it "weird"
@@kirahughes4900 They didn't say it was only one country lmao they just pointed out
As an Australian it freaks me out to watch this. Cars being so close to each other. Being parked in the wrong direction. The markings on the road being all funky. I know it's what you're used to when you grow up in it but ahhh
Habibi come to india
Agreed, as a Canadian our roads are so spread out it would be impossible to fail a drivers test.
@@razatiger22 what do they ask in theory in Canada in a driving test ?
Oh boy u have no idea 💀.. come to Nepal we literally have to push people out of the way with the car it's that crowded and roads are really thin lol
In France roads are as the same as in England but for christs sake no one with sane spirit would allow double parking on all roads especially right after a roundabout! The number of accidents this must cause is unthinkable
I just passed first time! Anyone with their test coming up just relax you’ve got this. I was the most anxious driver ever and I thought driving was so difficult at first
Congratulations!
(What did they ask you to do? Especially the manoeuvres part).
@@Dreamskater100 thank you :) So I followed road signs not the sat nav but even if I missed a sign the examiner would tell me any way which I didn’t expect. I was lucky with the tell me question I had the head rest one. And at the very end we went back to the test centre where he told me to reverse bay park which I did every lesson any way so got lucky there.
Same here I passed first time with just 2 minors, for me the only manoeuvre was just stop on the right and reverse 2 car lengths and loads of stop on the lefts. I wasn't given any difficult junctions, so overall it was a really easy test though I expected for it to be a really hard test. I was prepared for the hard junctions and everything in my test routes, but I guess I'm lucky enough to be given an easy test route. Mine was the automatic test tho so I have an automatic license now. Maybe might upgrade to manual if I get bored enough.
Who really cares
@@NikhilTikare auto not that hard to drive
Watching these brittish mock test makes me believe i would never pass in the UK, it gives me such a headache being a driver in Sweden and then watching these. Legitematly scared that i would drive on the wrong side of the road because of how many brittish mock tests im watching😂
hahah 😅🤣🤣 its easy once you get the hang of it (driving on the left)
As a Dane living in England I feel the opposite. When I’m back home I’m afraid I’m gonna drive in the left lane 😅
In Uk is so easy to past the test cause actually even if you have an handicap you’ll still pass 😂 plus top are the worst drivers in Europe
'BRITISH'
@@Janus-fn2uz yes Janus, british
finally part of the 'passed but still watching' crew! passed this morning with only 1 minor 🥳
Congrats Meg. Welcome to the club 😉
Congrats Meg happy for you can’t wait to join ☺️☺️
Feels so good x
Same I passed on the first try three days ago 🥳
I am part of the "can never drive because medical reasons who watches driving classes anyway" crew.
I think what people either ignore to or don't get is that this is what mock exams are for. It's to help learner drivers become drivers. They need to learn from serious or minor faults so to increase their chances of passing.
My anxiety is off the roof every time she gets so close to a parked car !!
“you still have to carry on driving safe”. Lol not me. I failed first time and started crying as soon as i made the mistake then drove like a maniac audibly sobbing all the way back. Poor guy must have thought i was insane coz i was calm and collected up until then
Oh no 😅😢 that’s so sad
Yes you have to carry on driving safe and it can be so difficult as it’s such a sinking feeling at the point but you have to look past that
Omg that was literally almost me when I took my test 3 months ago. I thought I made an instant fail sort of mistake and was ready to just not care anymore for the rest of the exam. I was blessed that the examiner was so friendly and took me out of my spiral by chatting and asking me questions. I ended up passing but if I had given up and driven carelessly like I was planning to, I would be gearing up for a 4th try!
OMG I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE and the examiner kept on pointing out my mistakes in the rudest way, I wanted to die 😭😭
This was an amazingly useful video. It’s thanks to it that I realised not bay parking in the lines was a serious fault, so during my test today I checked and tweaked - otherwise I would have been a hair outside the lines! I passed first time with 4 minors (1 minor for adjusting the reverse park) but I’m thrilled. Thank you so much!!
I’m not from the UK but I find the roads there SO NARROW and the driving on the left side is def different where I’m from as we stay on the right side always. When on highways we use left lane for I think y’all call it “overtaking” but we say the “fast lane” here.
Right? The roads seem so narrow and there are people parked on both sides. Also the test seems much harder. I didn’t have any “serious” or “minor faults” for mine. It was just pass or fail.
@@brady2651 same however where I’m from the test has small mistakes but the main thing are AUTOMATIC FAILS which leads to a failed test
It's informally called a fast lane, you shouldn't be going past the speed limit in it lol
@@gopi6162 You can actually exceed the speed limit by 10-15 mph in the fast lane in America. Fun little fact ! It's meant for passing primarily and you don't really wanna stay in it even tho most people do :/
@@sasuke1212naruto in the UK that's not the same, in the UK it's lane one, two or three. Or inside, middle, and far side. (Depending on how many lanes) You can overtake bit you can not exceed the speed limit to over take.
I think that first serious fault probably would've thrown her off a bit for the rest of her test, even if she didn't obviously show it. I recently passed my HGV C+E test but I often come back to car videos like this just to keep the basics fresh in my head 👌🏻
Congratulations Sara. All of us learn from mistakes and you had set a very good example here.
I just passed mine yesterday and I feel so good now I can watch these without stress😭
Haha same passed on the Friday just gone.
Amin you should show us a video of you driving, showing us how small things are done e.g. junctions, entering major to minor, joining dual carriageways. Would be something cool and something we can learn from you. Thanks. 😆
Hey yeah I will do more of that :)
@@ClearviewDriving Appreciate it 😎
@@andrewjohn4253 seriously what is wrong with you? Can you be any more degrading?
@@andrewjohn4253 how inappropriate, Andrew. 😒
Watch conquer driving he has some good videos on stuff like that
Its weird but id love to take a mock test 10+ years of driving. I was so thankful to my instructor he really took me through what catches people off guard like reading upside down road markings, they arent for you! I really do feel the instructor can make or break your experience and i really appreciate how you advise things that are necessary but let them know the good points as well. You also dont cause them to panic. I wish i had become an instructor.
Your facial reactions to her mistakes are so funny 😂
She look shady but apperantly not .lol
Bless all you driver instructors y'all have nerves of steel!
Passed yesterday with two minors, and these videos helped so much!!🥳
Well done!! That’s great 😃
Thank you for watching :)
'I' passed yesterday,
Wow the drivers tests are so different compared to here in the US. My test was 5 min long and didn’t even go on a major road. All I had to do was make a couple turns, emergency stop, 3 point turn, and parking. No stop lights and the speed limit was 20 mph.
*Laughs in Indian driving tests*
@@MarkAllen-xt1wm what are Indian driving tests like?
@@Raavenstag A whole lot of corruption. Just write a cheque to the right person and you are gifted a driving license. The quality of the tests are lamentable too. The whole concept of minors and majors don't exist over here. You just gotta make sure the car is in one piece and you don't kill anyone. If you survive Indian traffic, you might as well be pne of the most skilled drivers out there. We've got mfs trying to make overtakes on two-way (one lane each way) bridges 💀
In the Netherlands it’s ROUGH! But it does benefit us, we have many good drivers here. But of course there are always a few rotten apples 😂
This explains why the people in those US daschcam videos never seem like they know what they‘re doing
Keep positive Sara, you will get there eventually. I noticed that several comments have been made about the narrowness of our UK roads. I suggest that those folk come down here to Devon. Driving in our lanes is REALLY challenging!! 'Narrow' hardly describes them. Anyway, another brilliant video from Aman and her 'Clearview Driving' school. What an excellent Driving Instructor, Aman is.
I’m really enjoying watching these videos, I have my test on Monday. Unfortunately my instructor is really scary so it’s even more nerve racking. Thanks for your videos, they have helped
me so much
Did u pass??
Shame you left it so long to switch. If you didn’t pass seriously consider a new instructor. I struck gold with mine he’s really patient and it makes all the difference to us with anxiety
@@hanspz5505 i agree if u didn’t pass then u should definitely find a better instructor at the end of the day you aren’t taking lessons for free, so may as well find the best instructor for the money your paying
@@R4m4. yuuup. I do totally get why people stick with bad instructors though
@@R4m4. i passed :D
I just passed my theory last week first time! Been taking lessons since just after Xmas, first theory is in June I’m so nervous hopefully I can get good tips from yourself and pass it just in time for my bday 😀
I have just read the posting of Sara's successful Driving Test result. Congratulations to her. Another feather in your cap Aman!!
This is a really educative material for learner driver. She did quite well. If I were her, I would make 19 serious.
8:08 - You can improve flow if you use a lane that's ahead only, as that frees up a lane for vehicles that want to make a turn, even if they could also go straight ahead. It also makes your intention clearer (also heard this suggestion from Ashley Neal)
Yup. I’m never renting a car when visiting the UK! 😳 (I live in the US, those super-narrow roads lined with parked cars where center dividing lines are completely optional really freaked me out!). I’ll bike, use public transportation, take a cab, or walk, thanks.
It's not everywhere that it's like that, and it's not too hard, you just hop into the side if there's a parked car on your side if someone comes and vice versa
Nice i got the 20th of september my license here in Amsterdam for the first time. It was hectic and busy but if you do it slow you have time for everything to focus. I love watching your videos
Thank you so much I just had my test at Yeading test centre and passed :)). These videos have been so helpful especially watching Lovejits drives, I hope he has passed.
These mock test are really helpful!! for my upcoming test. Thanks Amin👍🏼👍🏼
Your videos are a good balance of entertaining and informative so thank you
Thank you :) glad they are helpful
i might start to drive soon so being able to see how her feet look when she brakes and starts driving again is very helpful
This has helped me understand why we do certain things. I'm currently experiencing motion sickness in pregnancy so can't practice 😫 but hopefully if I watch these till I'm ready to continue then I will pass xx
I find that so strange that you can park in the UK almost everywhere!
Look at that street in 4:12 unbelievable.
She didn’t park there she just stopped to let the buss pass by
where im from its also common to park like that, EXCEPT you usually park over the curb so theres way more space
@@ed_iz_ed yh but not when there’s yellow line across the street (next to the curb) or when it’s a bus stop
Only in cities, I live in the country and alot of aces we cant park
it's the stupidest thing about the UK we have small roads compared to the US and look at what they allow most 2 way roads become one way because of parking and most houses don't have a drive or garage yet house like 3 people that have cars inside 1 house.... That's what causes these streets.
She’s doing very good. I can only hope she does her driving test with absolute confidence and passes first time.
I hated taking my driving test so stressful😅 (quick tip my driving instructor told me if your examiner asks you “are you happy” when doing a parking exercise ADJUST YOURSELF they want you to pass this is a hint that your not in the lines)
We are taught to let the wheel slide back straight and I can say it works a lot better compared to turning it back. Hands and cupped
As an American this completely freaks me out the roads seem too small to even handle two cars at once let alone two cars parked on either side +2 trying to pass by
The trick is to not have a gigantic fucking truck
Indian roads are more challenging than this.
so crazy to think that all I had to do to get my US license was drive around in a parking lot and do some basic driving maneuvers.
That’s crazy. Is us license that easy to get? In the uk where I’m from it’s so intensive and much harder to get a licence.
@@divine2297 it depends on state. Where I’m from you are tested on the roads not parking lot.
4:13 - That was cute how the bus blinked
@Nick that's not just in the UK then, the us does this too.
Everybody has to start somewhere. While driving is physically much easier now with modern cars, the significant less opportunity to practice makes it tough for new drivers.
I always misunderstood that driving in India is really hard, but it isn't easy driving in such town where traffic is really disciplined ... 👍🏽👍🏽
Pedestrians are always challenge because they can take U turns and even 270 degree turn......And drivers are always at fault as per the law😂
It saddens me of all the effort driving instructors go through for the learner to pass and then drive like a total goon with no road respect about 1 month later. The driving standards these days is shocking. Keep doing the good work and hopefully it sinks in for new learner's.
They do get paid
yeah , my friend passed recently , and speeds down narrow roads like these all the time, tried to put some sense into her but she won't listne
@@isabella7131 Wait until she gets a ticket or has an accident, the speed awareness course is really good and thought provoking. Also this is why young drivers insurance is so high..!
@@RoxusRemo yeah lol, she complains about the insurance costs but she's responsible for how high they are
This is very helpful, thank you!
theses videos are a real boost for me who wants to go visit the uk, gives me hint of what to do in certain situations in a country i dont really know
Heyy I just wanted to thank you a lot, I’m from the Netherlands and I passed yesterday for my bike 🏍️ test, also by watching your videos good tips how to use junction etc… Sorry for my bad English. Love from 🇳🇱 🦁♥️🏍️🏍️🏍️
Driving looks so easy but its not that easy because when you are on the road you need full attention and no hesitation
I passed in the first attempt. Watched plenty of videos before the test. Thanks for the videos.
must be terrifying sometimes! respect for always keeping it cool
This reminds me of the time my mom just had gotten her driver's license, it was scary 😂
Your facial expressions during the mistakes are sending me 😂
She is driving VERY well for such shit roads and inconsiderate pedestrians!
bro if these are shit roads, i honestly do not know what the roads in my country should be called
wut? We get people straight up leaning on your car to pass while you are waiting in queue where I live...
you have no idea what you are saying if you think those are shit roads 😂
@@ed_iz_ed yeah, they look somewhat well maintained...
Shit roads? R u serious? Come to latin America. Here the streets, pedestrians & other drivers, doesn't respect anything.
That's looks a challenging test route.
Thanks , the idea of hanging the scores over the screen while the mistakes take place is good idea , thanks
I got my license today, but I’m gonna keep watching these vids, cause they’re really interesting
Well done!! :)Thank you for watching
Thanks. Live in US and our driving style is different. Nice to see a little of how you're supposed to drive somewhere else
Got my test on November 11th… praying 🙏🏻
And still drives better than half the people on the road!
Omg thank goodness I live In United States, these roads look just too difficult and confusing
Her first mistake was driving in UK
I'm not from the UK, been driving for over 5 years, I say she did good for most of the parts
It feels somewhat obvious in hindsight but as a motorcycle rider I never thought that the principle of "look where you want to go" applies to cars as well.
Yes it’s the same! 😅
I remember my first test, failed before even getting out of the test centre car park because i didn't look left when there was nothing even to the left but a steep grass verge, my instructor wanted to punch the examiners face in lol
Omg I watched all your Yeading vidoes the night before my exam to memories the exists and I PASSED!!! Omg
Love the videos xxx
he did great absolutly no problems in her driving
Monitor is beautiful.
So many cars parked on 2-lane roads making them 1 lane! How the hell is this allowed? Mind-blowing.
I love your dressing sense more than driving skills
Im from germany and i find it so funny that brits seem to not move their head at any time. Like, we are schooled that every time you need to switch the lane, go around a corner and so on you check your mirrors AND then take a look over your shoulder so you dont miss someone.
Sara seems too confident & lacks commitment to safer driving, it sounds odd this way but when you're cocky it may end up not good.
Good she realises her weaknesses and hope she improves on them.
That’s true. I just started driving recently, got a bit too confident and accidentally hit a parked car near my house (no damage and the car owner was fine about it thankfully!) but it’s super important not to let confidence get the better of you, as I’ve learnt.
#28:50 too shy to look 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 🤭 you cracked me up!!! LIKED 👍🏽 SHARED, RECOMMENDED, AND A BIG SUB X
She's learning on a amazing car I learned on a 80s car 😂😂🤣
Your faces when she gets so close to the car makes me laugh 😂when you’re trying not to lose your shit
😳😬😬
good reflexes.. its so easy to let learner crash..
I’m loving the retro flats and big houses me….
I like watching these even though I don't really need any of the information for driving in the UK
I watched full even though I passed my test 15 years ago. This is very good and will recommend to my son taking driving classes next year.
I was once in England for 6 months long and i still feel so weird to use signals when you go in the roundabout :'D We normally use it only if we want to exit and its always the signal to the right (since we go on the right side) but would be only left if its england. :D
It truly concerns me how a bus driver can hit such a rock-bottom in their lives that they honk at a learner.
I dont think i could ever drive the roads in the uk. Anxiety galore!
I don't think I could let my child near an American school either. I feel ya
Even as a US driver I never understand why people can’t simply wait behind any kind of junction line. The lines are there for a reason and you need to stop before it. Not on it, not past it, before it. I may also be hyper aware of them because my dad was someone who painted them for many years. He did a lot of road work lines and Peking lot lines
your face in the thumbnail is so serious 🤣
Hahaha it was a sudden movement 😅😆
Her face this whole time just screamed “I know I’ve failed”
I did some mistakes in my first one and they threw me just off guard. I did so much more after that and failed it. But I got it on my second. I really rocked it then even tho the dude sent me into a big parking plateu of a farmers market. People everywhere and when in germany the motion sensor beeps because of a person while the vehicle is moving you get an instant fail.
Very good 👍 explain thanks 👍 😊.
In first test my one serious was clearance because a branch hit my window on a heavily congested parked up road. Was gutted :(
Explained things so good🙂🙂
Very calm and collected instructor!
However... feeding the wheel is a terrible habit, in the event of a slide you have to let the wheel auto correct through your hands,
Clearly a completely lack of confidence. That’s the dangerous part. In time that will get better with experience. I find when I drive in Europe, the drivers there are overly aggressive.
When I drove in London for the first time , I noticed how the majority of people would “nudge” their way through traffic making way too many assumptions and not anticipating the potential acts of another.
In this video, I saw scooters or motorcycles with the L placard and yet they drove like idiots being way too confident.
I find in general the driving public to be overly agressive no matter where you drive. Just this ridiculous need to get there as quickly as possible.
In the aviation world, if we took that approach, we would have a lot more deaths. Luckily, as pilots, we police ourselves and at least make an attempt to follow the rules.
This is exactly why there will not be flying cars for a while lol.
While driving in India it is a game of connfidence
nit-pick: When changing between different cameras (video sources) there's a pop in the audio. There's probably a setting or something in the editing software to correct it.
(Edit) It actually happens randomly through the video as well
These tests are very similar to South Africa but the parking is in a huge parking area. We also don't have the SAT Nav thing. We just go with what the inspector says
All the checks and changes are all the same so this is just bringing back the day I did my test. Them parked cars though are scary things 😂
I love her sm
Passed yesterday 7th time lucky good luck to those who have their test soon can watch these knowing that I have passed
Note to self, you can slow down a bit in roundabouts to check mirrors *and* observe where you're going *and* go down to 2nd gear if you're realllly going slow... 6:12
9:58
even though she was shifting down to slow down, she wasnt doing it properly, since her foot is all the way down on clutch!
8:25
you cant rest your foot on the clutch pedal, this could wear down the clutch must faster!
Shifting down to come to a complete stop at a red light is unnecessary anyway and I think most driving schools handle it the way that the learner has to keep their foot on the clutch to be able to react quicker to getting a green light or similar.
@@howa_tcp2501 ah then it must be different in UK
Because here in EU, we dont have to shift down to slow down, but we have to keep it in gear.
Because coasting in neutral is not an option since it consumes fuel, at least that's what driving school taught me (engine brake)
10:37
I wonder what caused the lorry to step so hard on his break. You can see how the cabin tills forward from the forces
I have my test at Isleworth in May. Do they take you to unknown areas, like dual carriageways, motorways, flyovers or is it mainly the local area?
Local area :)
Good luck
@@ClearviewDriving great thank you!
Do you not have to apply the handbrake at a stop junction anymore? Or have the rules changed?
I think it's dependent on the time you spend waiting at the junction, if it's empty and you're only there for a couple of seconds then ushally you don't have to, if you wait then yeah, you need to apply the Handbrake, that's what my instructor taught me at least.
Can we get a mounted 360 cam on top to see how close some of these close calls really are? :)
